I am a simple man… I get Huber notification… I klick on it.. I watch it… I like it.. I leave a comment.. yes.. I am one of those guys.
i love you
I didn't know that RedBull makes matts for glue-mixing! Does it make the glue set fasterer or does it meka the glue hold gooder?
These are special made for us!
It gives the Glue a fastererer Settime and makes the glue gooderer !
Do you do custom made knlives to order?
thats pretty much my Job, yes!! :)
@@MartinHuber_Knives have u ever made a sickle?
"Spiderman" 🤣🤣🤣 everyone does this with spray-glue! 😬🤣🤣
My favourite part aswell xD
This video needs more likes this man does a lot of hard work making these knives and gets like only 700 likes that's not right ❤❤
Thank you, i absolutely agree!!! 😄
Can you tell me where i can find the rolling mill used in the video?
Oliver Tobin machines :)
One - very beautiful knife, excellent work.Thank you for sharing.
Two - I think you need to see someone about your red bull addiction.
thank you!
Yeah, nore redbull would sure help 😄😄😄😄😄
But I understand, those hammers are heavy. 🤣
🤣😄
is it for sale?
Yes it is! Send a DM on Instagtam or email if intrested
@@MartinHuber_Knives what is ur email sir?
Danke!! 😄😊
That is a beautiful build, nicely executed! Subscribed and hit the notification!
Thank you!! :)
my only critique is that the damascus pattern isn't visible around the exposed tang. Beautiful blade, regardless.
It would just be a few straight lines - on a pattern like this is not that nice that i'll do the extra step. Different on some pattern manipulated stuff - there it would be worth it 😄
Probably the best music in any knife video I've ever seen. Just found your channel today, keep up the good work.
Thanks man! Music is one of the hardest parts for me tbh xD
Welcome man!
First
xD
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤟🏻
Schön
danke
🗡👌💯👍
🙌🏻🙌🏻
Never seen the orange juice trick! Pretty sweet! Thanks for the build turned out great!
Its so simple! Thanks for watching!
@@MartinHuber_Knives seen people use coffee!? …. Same idea? Does the acidity help with contrast or more for deeper etch?
@@TheOGfrenchy Yes exactly, it doesnt make the etch deeper, but darker.
The one thing i disslike about coffe, that it etches the nickel steel aswell a little. The orange juice does not :)
@@MartinHuber_Knives what about buying citric acid and mix it with distilled water? it wouldn't rot like te orange juice I think
❤️🔥🔨🌶🔪...🤤... Speichelfluss vorhanden 😂
Schöne Arbeit Martin & ein gelungenes schönes Video dazu, stark.
*gern auch Outtakes *eventuell sogar in deiner Muttersprache 🤣

Danke dir!

i'd make knives full time if I was getting 1500$-2000$ a knife like you
1500-2000 are rare 🤣
Amazing workmanship, great video, awesome blade!! Fits perfectly in my hands, very comfortable and ready to chop!! Very happy to say that this is my favorite pickup in Atlanta 2024! Thanks Martin!!! 😘

Die Griffmaterialkombi ist absolut nach meinem Geschmack! Wiedermal rundum ein geiles Messer.

YES!°!!!
Jeep up the great work guys. U guys will be at 1million subs in no time.
hahahaa thanks buddy
at the blunnt end of a khukuri there in a groove for fluid to flow through, hope you make that groove in final product
Not on this one
How does the modern technology being used here affect the final product if at all?
Modern technology just helps you to make the knife faster and easier.
Sure could do something like this with a handhammer, coal forge and some files.
But it would take AGES.
And the one important thing about modern technology is the Heat-treatment.
Percise temperature, holdtime and tempering is what makes the knife a working mashine! :)
Cool build! What epoxy do you use, those containers look like R&G?
They are!
R&G is pretty much the best we ever had and since 2 years now we sell them aswell
Beautiful knife brother could I ask where u got the rolling mill from I’m after one
Thanks bro, its made by Oliver Tobin Machines!
You guys should have sealed the 2 steal folds between the sheet steal first that way your stop the extra O² getting into the forge weld
Yeah would have been possible to do, but then we would have to grind away the weld afterwards. We do this for more complex stuff line mosaics or similar, but not for normal random damascus :)
and Borax does a great job at this aswell
Why do you pour salt on the block , before keeping it in the oven ?
This is Borax, its helping the steel by not reacting wit hair and to not form any scale so the weld is cleaner!
with modern technologie steels are good without forging too 😄
This knife is a banger!!
absolutely awesome video!
The quality is getting better and better and your cutter is doing a great job too 😜
when is the next one coming?
asking for a friend
Thanks brosky
I just watched this video with my 5 year old and he laughed so hard now he's going around saying awwww shit lol he says of all the guys we watch your the funniest and play the best music I love the blade beautiful work great video that was our first and now our new bed time routine lol
Man, thank you so much.
This really means a lot to me 😊❤️
Say your Son i said hi 😄
Please tell me where you got that rolling press from 😭🙏🙏
i surely answered that question a hundret times but i will do it 100 more 😄😄
Its made by Oliver Tobin!
BEAUTIFUL WORK. Eye like it.
Thanks man! :)
Orange juice > coffee? 😮🤔 great video again!!
100% Orangejuice gang!
Coffe stains the Nickel-steel, orange juice doesnt :)
This is an incomplete khukri
🫡
Your beard turned that color because of all the sparks hitting it while grinding!
What a great build!
Yes! My beard is on fire all the time!!!
Thanks brosky
Unglaublich geiles Teil!
I glaub i muss wieder mal auf a Bier kommen 🍺
PS: Muss eh mein Messer schärfen ;)
Danke!
Sehr sehr gerne, meld dich einfach mal ;)
I've been making knives for nearly 11 years now. I've struggled multiple times with ill fitting pins. What I've done is the past is used my belt grinder to slim them down a bit to fit, but it almost always wasn't perfect. I about slapped myself in the face when I saw your method of using a hand drill. 🤦♂ Thanks for sharing that little tidbit!
Thank you for sharing your process. You have a new subscriber in me. I'd love your feed back on my own channel if you've the time.
Great work, keep it up and I look forward to seeing more in the future!
haha happy i could help! 😄🙌🏻
You should change the name of your video to forging a billit and cutting out a knife.
I am showing modern and economic knifemaking
Forging to shape takes longer than just cutting out - less workhours and less to pay for a customer :)
Sure not the way of "Traditional" Knifemaking, but never claimed that :D
@@MartinHuber_Knives No, but you did claim that you "forged" the knife. That is what I had a problem with.
He is forging the steel and basic form of the Blade. I have seen "forging Videos" where they just cut out knifes of some old peace of steel 😂
A realy nice video i like it ,Reiter knows who i am. 👍

Reiter Boi was in tha house!
@@MartinHuber_Knives kind regards to my friend Reiter Boi.
Awesome video! Do you do all the editing yourself?
Thanks man!
Yes, filming mostly done by me, my employee or...my poor friends who happen to be there and i say "DUDE GRAB THE CAMERA QUICK"
All editing done by me!
@MartinHuber_Knives That's great! I'm just getting a bladesmithing channel started. Your videos are great inspiration!
