Copper give such a nice contrast to the colour of the steel. Despite the added difficulties, it always looks so cool when copper is used in these pattern forged blades.
Its a one of a kind knife and its beautiful knife you done it again martin and to the camera dude and the glove guy your and to you martin more power bro
Awesome looking knife! Twas a pleasure to watch it take shape. I would have loved seeing a layer of brass in between the copper or even mokumegane in between the Damascus instead of straight up copper (I'm not even sure if mokumegane incorporated into the knife has ever been done on UA-cam yet) but if there's one channel that's willing to push the boundaries in that I'm betting it's yours! Once again though, great blade! Thanks for sharing 🫡
@@MartinHuber_Knives 🤣🤣 I am sorry 😞 and to make up for it I'll say sorry in my best German 🫡 Entschuldige mich, daß hätte ich nicht gewust! 😋 Trotzdem danke für die videos! Und ja, auch manche Holländer sprechen Deutsch 😋
I have made Mokume-gane before and have wanted to do the copper Damascus. I need to work on my forge welding skills to be able to do that though. That handle is absolutely beautiful!
Awesome build man, love the copper being introduced to the handle as well, nice touch. What was the music that was playing when you were preparing the inside of the handle?
Sweet build, been going through your videos and I'm enjoying them. Still haven't made the spear yet to get my sub lol also thanks for the handle crafting tips I got from your videos. Should speed me up when I have time to make up some more. Cheers from Canada!!
I wish we can build a knife together your knowledge is too good in this field and I have a passion for Damascus but in India I cannot get the tools and respect in the society, so I wish I could work for you/with you?.
The result is stunning! 🔥🔪 What an incredible technique to forge a copper-Damascus knife. How long did it take you from start to finish? Does the combination of copper with Damascus steel affect the knife's strength or functionality? It's fascinating to see the whole process; I can't wait to see your next project! 👏⚒️"
Hey man, awesome video. This might be saying a lot cuz im not in your shop, but from the look of the video it seems like you have a LOT of scale coming off that billet. You might look into reducing the amount of oxygen in your mixture.
Hey Martin ,great vid and nice knife 🔪😁 Are you gonna do any more hand sanding lives ? Ps:the suspense for the Damascus reveal isn’t very suspenseful because we have seen it in the thumbnail😄
Thanks!
no, thank you 😍❤️❤️🥰
Dude you’re a f@&$ing genius! Using the heat treat oven to control the heat with copper layers is next level! I’m totally going to do that! Thank you!
haha :D Youre welcome!
You owe me a redbull now!!!
@@MartinHuber_KnivesGod damn right I do!
Love this knife! Most copper damascus knives are gaudy. This is classy. Great video!
thanks man, appreciate it!
YES finally someone who used copper pins with copper!!! I’ve seen so many people that don’t do that Great job!

My first video on your channel. Beautiful piece you created there! I look forward to more of your creations!

Sweet knife, nice copper. What else could you do with copper, brass/bronze, and iron?
thanks!
Well...a few things i guess!
Amazing beauty 💥💥💥

Bro smart move on going with the heater not the gas. It's very great advice.
I rather wait for a few minutrs more than have a puddle of copper in my forge 😄😄
@@MartinHuber_Knives yaa otherwise you will loose copper and a dirty forge , copper is a very high risk metal to work with and offcourse expensive too

always carbon fiber
