Really awesome episode but I feel there is a lot more you could have showed like what about Songbird? What about other areas in the game? What about the part where one of those horn guys appears behind you? What about Rapture in this game or the place Booker is drowned in? What about the flashbacks in Bookers office where someone outside is calling to him? So many things to see that while this episode was really interesting, left me wanting more. hooked on a theevan *Spoilers for Burial At Sea* She was. I think that was the start of Burial At Sea, it sets up the Booker that got his Anna’s head decapitated, so when Comstock failed at stealing Anna/ Elizabeth, Comstock hired the Luteces a second time to escape to Rapture, so the player all throughout episode 1 thinks that they’re Booker but if you were able to see “Booker”, you’d find out that he has white hair and he shaved. So Elizabeth in Burial at sea was eliminating the last Comstock in existence. Elizabeth in Burial At Sea, was OUR original Elizabeth. Sad to know now that they’re all dead and at least one Booker in one alleyway was left with a headless baby ;-;
Those black boxes are pretty common in videogames. Most engines need entities to run commands. The boxes probobly have commands assigned to them just like how GlaDos voice is assigned to the Blue Errors in portal.

Elizabeth sees France where a movie is playing. The title is "La Revanche du Jedi" which translates to "Revenge of the Jedi" which was the original title before release of Return of the Jedi!
That mountain observatory is really interesting. Not much to look at, but I feel like that potentially hints towards something big. Like maybe that was one of the places you were supposed to visit during that end-game scene, meant as a tease for the location for a future game. Maybe during the development of Infinite they were already planning where they would go next with the series, and that was somehow involved in the setting. Really cool to think about. Sad it never happened though. But if you could ask Ken Levine about that, that would be amazing to get his word on!

What really intrigues me is the snowy mountain lighthouse. This is because obviously the two versions of the lighthouses we know of (Colombia and Rapture ones) are alternate universes and it's kinda self explanatory as they are on exact opposite ends of the planet. (Way underwater, and way in the sky.) However, what was this mountain lighthouse suppose to signify? To tease a potential new bioshock game with a yet new universe? Where did the people live? In a cave system within those mountains? An underground broken down attempt st civilization would definitely have been a really cool idea! I know that isn't much to go off of, but considering that Rapture and Colombia are isolated alternate universes, what's so improbable about the underground one? Just as isolated!
And the other area is a desert, it really piques my curiosity on what these where supposed to be. I have my problems with Infinite but the multiverse thing and the fact that regular Bioshock and infinite coexist as two separate worlds is something I kind of like so with these unused areas I'm wondering, as you are, if these were other reclusive civilizations. What would they be like, why do they exist? What would their technology be like as well as their way of life. I'd like to imagine that the potential desert city could be an oasis in the middle of the desert and they have technology to create a sandstorm to hide themselves and that tower is a way to get inside or reveal its location.

seriously of you cant put all the hidden levels in the video because of time constraints then just day the video. id much rather a complete video with everything in weeks later then a video that misses out loads of stuff.

When I was a boy... I had a dog named Bill. No but seriously the whole hidden snowy mountain thing was incredible and that's the kind of stuff I love to see from these videos. Good work!
reviewing the video now I notice that in minute 11:13 there is a snowy lighthouse, but a few months ago a person leaked that Bioshock 4 will be set in Antarctica, coincidences?

its crazy to think that there was a winter lighthouse. Makes me wonder if Ken Levine ever directed another Bioshock game. If he was going to make a game with a lighthouse on the mountain as a teaser to the next Bioshock game. I hope the next Bioshock game that is currently in development turns out well! I'm looking forward to returning to the world of Bioshock!
I love your videos, when I was a child I always asked myself the things you are showing in your videos. It's very interesting and facinating. Keep the good work :).
3:40 it’s actually kind of funny when you see how super simple the environment is outside of what you as the player can see. Especially the white backdrop with the trees, it’s like a mini set of a movie except a lot of floating things
Hmmmm, the recent leaks about Bioshock 4 that say the new city will be located in Antarctica and the Observatory in the snow mountains...maybe...will they have a connection?
A lot of times "cubes" are used as "blueprints" a series of code within a actual object that will effect the world or character. In example HUD elements like the compass code would be in a cube. Also, the characters don't actually go invisible. They call a code called "destroy actor" and as it's says, it destroys the actor. Lol love the videos man!(:

I want to see what happens just before the time when you climb over the ledge in one of the scenes, and suddenly the entire scene changes. I wanna see how early the new scene gets loaded in before you see it. Also when the Twins disappear. Great video though.
Great episode. Very interesting. This is one of my favorites of all time. Cool stuff
seriously of you cant put all the hidden levels in the video because of time constraints then just day the video. id much rather a complete video with everything in weeks later then a video that misses out loads of stuff.
yeah like wtf, youre not on a corporate time crunch. fucking play the game for an extra hour and get the shots
Honestly agreed
exactly
I only just stumbled upon this channel and it's the most captivating subscription I've made in a long time. Keep up the good work I'm loving this series!
Bruh when Elizabeth breaks the 4th wall ay 8:03 , i thought she was genuinly looking at you watching her.. shit freaky..
When I was a boy... I had a dog named Bill.
No but seriously the whole hidden snowy mountain thing was incredible and that's the kind of stuff I love to see from these videos. Good work!
I really wish this game was longer, I enjoyed it but it was so straight forward, even the DLC.
reviewing the video now I notice that in minute 11:13 there is a snowy lighthouse, but a few months ago a person leaked that Bioshock 4 will be set in Antarctica, coincidences?
it's so nice that you get recognition for what you do like with all the developers and voice actors from pokemon i'm happy that this channel is doing really good also i want to recomend life is strange again and i'm sorry if i'm becoming annoying but i would really love it if you did an episode on that anyway keep up the good work
Can I just say that I absolutely love the moment between Booker and Elizabeth when she is applying a bandage to his hand.
I loved Loved LOVED this episode! Great job ,sir! The Bioshock series is one of my favorites! Is there a BioShock 2 in the future?
was there ever a follow up vid w ken levine 12:27
I really love this series, and I only found it because of this video. I hope you do the Burial at Sea DLC as well.
Had a good laugh at the zoom in on Elizabeth in her T pose without the dress. Completely unexpected! As always, great stuff man!
What happened with the bioshock director interview?
Why aren't more folks hugging this one for doing all this work?? Hugs and thanks!!
Love your stuff man! Can you please do bloodborne soon?
doug pearson I second this.
Hell yea the map is so intertwined. It be really cool to see outside of it
Totally agree!!
VaatiVidya posted something about bosses that were inaccessible from the main game but were still in it. Its pretty cool, if that interests you.
I remember going off camera in twisted metal and duke Nukem when I was a kid and it gave me such a great feeling! That’s why I love this channel!
its crazy to think that there was a winter lighthouse.
Where has this channel been all my life!?
HOLY SHIT WILL THE DEVELOPPER TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT THE SNOW MAP FINALLY ?????
I love your videos, when I was a child I always asked myself the things you are showing in your videos. It's very interesting and facinating. Keep the good work :).
Me: Wanting to get a better look at the skyboxes or far-off set pieces
Shesez: CUBES
For anyone that's curious, the song at the end where you see Booker and Elizabeth is an instrumental version of "La Mer" by Charles Trenet.
Bopperooski don’t they use the Django Reinhardt/Stephane Grapelli version tho?
@@ShaydeVI It sounded like the original, but i might be mistaking.
("DO CRASH TWINSANITY" intensifies)
Hey man, appreciate all the work! Thanks very much for these insights.
1:54 His sweater looks like Jack Ryans!!
Do you know the song at 11:35 ?
@@jacobmelton4246 beyond the sea look up Bioshock instrumental version ugh I love this version so much!! (°♡°)
nemo
@@jacobmelton4246 la mer- covered by Django Reinhardt
3:40 it’s actually kind of funny when you see how super simple the environment is outside of what you as the player can see. Especially the white backdrop with the trees, it’s like a mini set of a movie except a lot of floating things
Hmmmm, the recent leaks about Bioshock 4 that say the new city will be located in Antarctica and the Observatory in the snow mountains...maybe...will they have a connection?
Definitely seems likely, it will also be really cool if they were teasing the game in infinite
Do you think you can do alien isolation next?
