    "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" is a reference to the infinite theory of the game.

      @@WaveTheConqueror there are two different versions of this song "will the circle be unbroken" and "can the circle be unbroken", the beatles nor john Lennon performed either version of this song. They did have the song Circles.

      The song as it appears in game is an old folk-era Christian hymn. It's been remade by a number of people over the last hundred years in various ways.

      Me to! My heart started to beat fast as if Elizabeth and Booker were watching Songbird die all the way back in 07 when I wasn't really aware of the significance of that noise... I was sure it would roughly sound like but its the SAME screech... god its immense

    • @9Kualalumpur
      @9Kualalumpur 9 років тому +16

      I think it wasn't planned, as it was only a sound effect they reused. You can actually hear it in other moments in the first and second Bioshock.

    • @MrCheesyBaconBits
      @MrCheesyBaconBits 9 років тому +35

      9Kualalumpur Yeah but the guy had a bird mask on and stuff.
      Maybe they went back to see key moments and possible link ups from past games and this one worked... ESPECIALLY because the piano playing character is so insignificant there is no real rhyme or reason for it, forcing fans to question and wonder which is great compared to the easy explanation.
      When things make sense our minds can let it go but when something remains unexplained on something we love or are interested in it leaves us speculating on many crazy and wonderful possibilities and if THAT is what was intended... Bravo story writer... Bravo.

      Honestly Infinite's story is pretty lacking. Bioshock 1 or System Shock 2 are old, but much better. If you think that time travel is what made the plot gripping then I suggest watching Donnie Darko. It takes that plot base much more creatively than "you are the bad guy from an alternate future" did. And for some reason both Bioshock and Donnie Darko have covers of Tears for Fears being important in them?

    You forgot one. In the asylum you have to pull a lever and once you do and turn around there is a boy of silence right behind you. This replicates a moment from Bioshock, where in you find yourself in the hospital and you enter a surgery room. You can search a table and once you turn around there is a spliced up surgeon right behind you. Both will immediately attack. This most likely insinuates that these moments happen at the same time in both universes.

Even though when Booker was first baptized after wounded knee,and he would have looked similar to the Booker we know (i.e. no beard), Preacher Witting does not recognize him as he can no longer see him. Yo !
    To people who will read this comment here's a piece of advice to beat that final part in 1999 mode :
    - Spread a lots of traps all over the way of your ennemies; they'll be slow and it will be easier to destroy them (Shock Shockey, Devil's Kiss,...);
    - Don't forget to use your Vigor Undertown to push the rockets ennemies overboard;
    - The Motorized Patriots won't attack you cause they're focusing on their objective (destroy the energy source) : you can place some free hits behind them with your Sky-Hook + the gear "ELECTRIC TOUCH" or the gear "ELECTRIC PUNCH (DLC)" : very very effective;
    - Use and take advantage of the map : there is a LOT of Medikit, Salt infusions and you can use the Sky-Lines to push the rockets ennemies overboard;
    - Songbird should be used 4 to 5 times in a quick battle : keep in mind you need to use him strategically for the two last zeppellin (don't call him everytime you see the Motorized Patriots);
    - The bigger are the ennemies you destroyed with Songbird, the more you will need to wait;
    Good luck and don't forget... "One thing I've learned: if you don't draw first, you don't get to draw at all."

      Booker DeWitt
      The none-too-subtle implication of superiority in this statement is ignorant at best. Firstly, it is nowhere near accurate to say that a person of at least mild intellectual capacity (that is, someone who enjoys a well-crafted story set in a fantastically intricate world/universe) is a lonely, unkempt basement dweller. Secondly, it is nowhere near accurate to assume that a lonely, unkempt basement dweller is lesser than yourself. I would clarify those points, but you wouldn't understand the reasoning (praise be to 'murica).
      It may be of importance to note that you chose Booker DeWitt as your handle, publicly acknowledging your preference for this game over multiplayer games, thus making you a pot-bellied basement dweller. Good luck with your voice-over work, and your receding hairline.

    The Saddest parts were
    1-Little Sister crying near Big Daddy. She is vulnerable, defenseless, and is scared
    2-Songbird's death. His green eyes before he died showed he was happy. There's a theory going around with evidence that Songbird( "Booker") is trying to protect Elizabeth from main character Booker

    • @13MiniMidgets
      @13MiniMidgets 2 роки тому +3

      It's not theory, it's plain fact. The ending shows that booker and Comstock are the same person and that comstock/future booker is using songbird to protect Elizabeth from his past self aka present booker. That's why our booker is the "false shepard" because Comstock (future booker) is trying to prevent his past self (our booker) from taking his daughter back.

      I love this game so much and I played the first two bioshocks all the way through. They really put their heart into making a great game. That's really the difference between giving a fuck and not giving one.

    The Fireman is also from Fahrenheit 451; someone who starts fires instead of putting them out.

      That may be true, but I would have liked to see it sung by Elizabeth in-game. Still a lovely voice, but I really do kinda have a thing for Elizabeth.

    the songbird easter egg planted in bioshock 1 is amazing, talk about thinking ahead of time...

    • @EpicMusicSoul
      @EpicMusicSoul 11 років тому +1

      Exactly! That easter egg was the coolest in my opinion. If you were really involved in the games, it is kind of shocking to think that Jack was paying attention to the piano guy dying while another shocking event (songbird's death) was happening...

    • @EpicMusicSoul
      @EpicMusicSoul 11 років тому

      ***** It's very probable as well, of course. I just like thinking it was actually done thinking "ahead of time". Makes me get more attached to the game d:

      I wonder if they really did think that far ahead... And if they didn't, what was that noise supposed to be originally? I'd like to ask the guy who put it in.

    • @zaemcolt182

      You can unlock it by using the konami code, that's one easter egg.
      1999 is because of System shock 2 was released in 1999, that's another easter egg.

    Published almost 7 years ago. Here's a couple more tidbits.
    It's a funny coincidence that the B-Sharps from the Simpsons were originally going to be the group singing "God only knows". The music credits at the end of Infinite state that the song was performed by "A Mighty Wind". The coincidence is "A Mighty Wind" is a 2003 film about a folk singing group starring Harry Shearer, Christopher Guest, and Michael McKean. All three of whom have The Simpsons voice acting credits.
    If you like the retro arrangments of the music, look up Scott Bradlee, who is also in the music end credit listing, and listen to the numerous "Postmodern Jukebox" songs on UA-cam.

    "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" was originally written and recorded by Robert Hazard. Cyndi Lauper's version was a cover.

    He is booker #137 because of the heads on chalk board which means he tried 136 times before to get Anna back but failed.... But Easter egg #23 aka last Easter egg in video has him after credits saying Anna is that you with baby music does this mean some how booker #137 finally succeeded correct me if I'm wrong. But I don't know any more this whole game is an absolute mind fuck

    12:33 In Emporia you will find a broken building next to the cementery, inside you will find a tear with music, next to it you will find a voxophone, it's from Fink to His brother, Fink says he doesn't know who he's stealing the music from but he'll become Columbia's Mozart, so that's why se can hear a cover of "tears for fears" and "girls just wanna have fun"
    P.D: i am a fucking clown, it paused the video at that minute and then you explained it 💀

    the bioshock series was one of the biggest kick in the pants for me that got me into gaming. I love all of them but infinite really takes the cake but I never realized how much attention they put into the music. in my opinion, every song sounds a lot better in Columbia than in reality. :)

    I love the whole music and tears thing. It really tries to make two of different time periods and it rocks the hell out of it. In love the with the covers as well- so beautiful.
