The Elder Scrolls series is what brought boundary breaking to my attention. I've played (and adored) Morrowind on Xbox before I actually owned my own PC. I was very new into PC gaming back then and just learned about the console commands. Once I found out about the "toggle free camera" command I spent hours upon hours just exploring the things I couldn't see from my character's point of view. Towards the end of the game you have to ride a dragon to the final dungeon, but first he is caught in a wooden thing that you have to release him from in a castle.. However, if you jumped on top of the wooden thing while releasing it it would move up really high and make it possible to jump out of bounds of the castle from there. You would die from the fall, but I remember using either like something that reduces all damage taken or fall damage or slowfall or some similar effect to survive, and then I got to explore the whole 'instanced' version of the world like shown in this video.. it was really neat. I remember killing a dragon all the way on the west side, but because they can't die unless they've landed and the only area marked eligible for landing was the castle I started at (all the way on the east side) he survived at 0 HP and started flying that way and I followed him all the way back where he landed and (ostensibly) died. Was a pretty neat, albeit extremely glitchy experience
One thing you might have missed. In Pelagius' mind, near the outer boundary of the forest area, there's actually a door that takes you to the other areas you showed.
I played through Skyrim on the PS3 and found the mysterious pillar and floating windows @3:30. They are located outside Skuldafn. They have some odd behaviour though, like slowing down your movement speed.
You can get it of bounds pretty much anywhere you want using the bucket or the plate trick. That combined with whirlwind sprint makes it so you can get about anywhere you want. The cool thing is exploring towns that are only partially loaded and sometimes seeing beta elements. I’ve spent several months documenting what I’ve found personally.

Ö _ 512MB limitation of consoles carried over to the PC version. The weird thing is, Bethesa didn't even bother to update the code for the Special Edition to eliminate loading screens, since both current gen consoles pack 8GB of RAM, more than enough for smooth transitions with no loading screens. Todd Howard actually said in an interview that 8GB of RAM allows Bethesda to construct open world games with no loading screens whatsoever.
The game engine isn't capable of loading that much. You may get 60fps and such, but there is problems going on. Thousands. Open Cities will break your game. Also RAM isn't all that determines loading. It's also down to the GPU, CPU and Hard Drive/Solid State Drive. My Loading screens are around 1-3 seconds on average because I run my game on an advanced storage device known as a Solid State Drive
HydroSimp SSD only contributes to loading times, not game performance. The amount of RAM and the speed of RAM do contribute to game performance because the CPU and GPU (VRAM for the latter) process only the data stored on RAM. Having a faster HDD or SSD only helps get that data onto the RAM chips faster. The Gambryo/Creation engine is a horrible engine in terms of memory management. The way it handles memory is simply atrocious. That's why loading upward of 50 mods in Skyrim including texture and model packs, total conversions and feature heavy stuff eats up all available RAM even if you have 32GB installed. And that's also why Bethesda needs a new engine built from the ground up for TES VI and Starfield.

Wicked video. It's so weird seeing Whiterun looking like it's from the ps1 days and seeing that little dollhouse in Sheogorath's realm, it makes me think a lot of that quest on Oblivion when someone's in a permanent sleep and you have to go into their drams or into their head to help them solve puzzles to get out. There's a lot of really cool ways you can make a quest with that. And for some reason whenever I see frostbite spiders up high, they always look like they're floating horizontally above, not dangling properly. The sky in Sovngard is so beautiful, it's like if the Aurora Borealis was in Oblivion or changing its mood from chilled mystical green to an angry red =P

4:36 the reason for putting vendors stuff in chests is it is much easier to assign an NPC a crate or chest than to make a charector with an individual inventory
So here's a fun fact about the Mind of Pelagius ... If you turn off collisions with walls, and walk in the right direction, just a few steps off one of the paths is a door will take you to the house within the house. I think it's pretty cool that they left the door in ^^ My guess is that in one version of the quest, the host would summon the door for you to walk though (maybe to '"go home"? lol) and the devs left it just off stage, ready to be teleported to the player when needed.

this game was so full of quirks and surprises that it became on of my favorites of all time. i miss playing it even now, since i don't have a system anymore
I'm not sure what game this is but it sure doesn't look like Skyrim to me. Everything is this bland, brownish-beige color. I mean, where are all the barely covered, beachball-bosomed bimbos? The Macho-man dragons? Bear spiders? The mud crabs with their adorable little top hats and monocles? Not even a single stealth archer in sight... What kind of trickery are you trying to pull here, Shesez?
Lmao, idk about you guys, but I found something out a while back when I played this game, if you take a platter or a plate, and have the bottom point towards you while up against a wall, then either walk, run, or whirlwind sprint into it (whirlwind sprint works almost all the time), you can clip through the wall, it’s alotta fun
I remember finding that building at 6:36, I got to that area via a dragon wing mod I had for the original Skyrim while just messing around with the flight controls. This was back several years ago, I should've posted a pic or something back then.
Thanks to saving the game while holding the "Knife" weapon, I've been loaded into Esbern's room when I uploaded a save. It was great not being able to get out & having to star over from previous save file... Also, I made a video of several different "Secret Chest" locations. Most where from the Khajiit camps. But there's also one under the Skyforge, the Riverwood Trader, & some location in Windhelm, as well as 1 or 2 under the water in the Ratway.

can you do bayonetta 2?? been waiting for you to do her games :(
That would be awesome
It's been over five months and the plug is still there.
When someone comments with a time card (these 3:48), it'll be 10 to 20 seconds off!
Jasoncrafter82
??? What????
Jasoncrafter82 I'm watching on mobile and it goes to the exact time for me when I tap on the timestamp (after screaming out in frustration from it either bringing up the comments or bringing up the reply box the first few times). So I don't know if it just happens on a computer - just assuming you are on a computer - or what.
OP meant when the intro is removed. You know, the plug bit.
Elisabeth Heiman he doesn't mean the link goes to the wrong time.
Just remember to come back tomorrow and fix it
I don't know how I like it so much. It's just small things yet so interesting.
I am so damn happy I subbed to you when you were at 10,000 subs. I means I've been a fan before it was cool.
Im still not cool!!
Shesez no, probably not but your content more then makes up for your geeky exterior.
Awesome video as usual! I always look forward to your videos every week!
8 months later still hasn't removed the plug.
Really love that intro, the animation is really unique
Injustice next
I wonder what will happen don't forget injustice 2 I wanna find out all the stages
4:36 the reason for putting vendors stuff in chests is it is much easier to assign an NPC a crate or chest than to make a charector with an individual inventory
Can you please do arkham knight boundary break plssssssss
CRAZY GAMER 333 I think he will one day just be patient
Phillip Rubio ok dude 👍👍👍
He did Asylum and City, but not Knight.
he needs to do batman arkham origins and arkham knight boundary break video
So here's a fun fact about the Mind of Pelagius ... If you turn off collisions with walls, and walk in the right direction, just a few steps off one of the paths is a door will take you to the house within the house.
I think it's pretty cool that they left the door in ^^
My guess is that in one version of the quest, the host would summon the door for you to walk though (maybe to '"go home"? lol) and the devs left it just off stage, ready to be teleported to the player when needed.
Lmao the plug is still there
I am happy to see a proper use of the term backface culling in this video!
Do kingdom hearts
Some Bitch yes
gabe lastname no it's arca, a music producer.
I love your show. I subscribe to only a few channels because I don't watch much on UA-cam but I always watch new episodes of Boundary Break it's sooooo cool!
I have a request for a new episode! Lately I've been playing SOMA and it's an amazing game which I'm sure has lots of hidden secrets. I'd love to see it on the show one day. 🤗
This entry crossed off almost everything in my boundary break bucket list now. Now i'm just dying to see Kingdom Hearts.
this game was so full of quirks and surprises that it became on of my favorites of all time. i miss playing it even now, since i don't have a system anymore
"If you watch this video 2 days from now you wont see this message because I will delete it from the video"
Wrong
3:48 I literally seeked for a breaking boundaries of Skyrim video right after I've found this black monument on my SSE PC edition. dude that's trippy
Who else was playing Skyrim when they got the notification?
Phillip Rubio yup on my switch
Phillip Rubio nice profile pic, got this card in my collection XD
Yeah I was
Phillip Rubio I was about to on my xbone.
Phillip Rubio ha loser u stil play this crap? 😂
Awesome vid. A wealth of interesting tidbits here, and lots of variety!
Yeah your gonna delete it from the video
Im so happy I was able to see the creepy plug in the beginning
I'm not sure what game this is but it sure doesn't look like Skyrim to me. Everything is this bland, brownish-beige color. I mean, where are all the barely covered, beachball-bosomed bimbos? The Macho-man dragons? Bear spiders? The mud crabs with their adorable little top hats and monocles?
Not even a single stealth archer in sight... What kind of trickery are you trying to pull here, Shesez?
I didn't laugh.
1:20 Skyrim for Nintendo Switch
Gud joke but it would be more like Skyrim for N64
A year later and the message is still there
_Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to break the boundaries, right? Walked right into that Imperial trap. Same as us. And that thief over there._
It’s cool how accessible Bethesda games are.
