my theory on the door issue is if the "interior" shares anything with the exterior then you will have no geometry behind the door. I believe they did that so weather effects work when you have broken ceilings and such.
Strange 7s It is pink, like he said, the branch is missing its texture so it has the default texture or 'missing texture' which is typically pink or pink and black but can be a completely different colour depending on the engine. It looks purple because the textures of Swan block the lighting to the branch.

i remember in skyrim i used flight camera to explore tamriel while my character stayed inside of whiterun. I went across the whole map and found out that Solitude was actually rendered in low poly mod
it's amazing how much is rendered in skyrim outside of where you can actually go, if you go far enough outside the borders of Skyrim you can even find the white gold tower off in the distance
Along with what Eira said, you can also see the Red Mountain in the distance from morrowind. (easy way to see it is look to the west when atop the throat of the world, use the clear skies shout.) if you can get by the barrier and go to it, it's definately worth a look! I personally havent tried the collision toggle on pc, and i couldnt glitch by the invisible walls. I'd say give it a look if you're up for it. though i'm sure like the white gold tower, it will be low poly mode. best of luck! :)
I once found something really wierd. If you go to the ocean and continue, after a while past the world border you'll find a gigantic ship at the bottom very far away. It's really wierd because of its size, its not high quality but definitely understandable model and how it is really imposible to see otherwise. Wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of cut out content

once, i had left a good set of power armor inside the institute's base, and then chose the brotherhood of steel over them. After many hours later, i had returned in another suit of T-60 power armor, I wanted my old suit back, so I left it outside the M.I.T. and went in. After discovering i couldn't get my suit (which was inside my room) I set the bomb, left with Shaun, and blew it up. I got incredibly scared that I wasted ANOTHER suit of power armor there, but since it was still on my map, I left to retrieve it. The radiation was MASSIVE, luckily I had a hazmat suit with me at all times, so I went in. Surprisingly my power armor, my full T-60 set power armor, remained untouched and undamaged EXACTLY on the edge of the crater and that kids is why you have your luck maxed out
I left a suit of T-51B in the institute and sided with the brotherhood after I blew up the institute I realized I had left it there I tried to get it but I died of radiation poisoning
Lucky for you, you got your power armor back, when I went back to get MY old power armor, it was In the middle and in the air, and i couldn't reach it, was to far up.

Oh boi am I gonna jump in on this comment train. Okay so for starters, you are completely allowed to have your own opinions, you can like Fallout 4 and it can be your favourite Fallout game. BUT, you are definetly in the minority when saying this, a large part of the fan-base rightfully agree that Fallout 4 is not the best game, no, it is an attrocious game. And I am saying this as someone who doesn't really hate is as much as others lol. To simplify the reasons why its a bad game: Character creation is no where near as good as the previous games (for context im just going to relate everything to New Vegas from now on because that is definitively the best Fallout game in mine and many others opinions), e.g. S.P.E.C.I.A.L system, trait system, the actual character you play as, heavily minimised RPG mechanics, an atrocious speech system. Story is out right atrocious. ITS LITERALLY JUST FALLOUT 3 IN REVERSE LMAO. No but seriously its not good, characters aren't interesting, factions are bland, choices are lackluster, a lot of information breaks canon in the Fallout lore. Furthermore, companions, in my opinion, are OK, not crappy, but not the best, I still prefer New Vegas. There's also zero emotional investment, why should I CARE that my wife just died when I only knew her for five minutes and she had no substantial character development, this also applies to my son, and yes this is a bit of a meme, but really who cares about going after to save Shaun. Settlement building is meh, they just tacked it in, I don't care about my settlers, the food/water resources are canon-breaking, but yes the actual building of buildings in an engaging thing to do sure but that's not what Fallout should be about lol. Guns/gameplay is meh, its not bad but really its just look and shoot and stimpack, and this ties in with the whole lame repetitive cycle of gameplay in Fallout 4, EXPLORE - KILL - LOOT. And I can go on but I won't because you're probably gonna deny these are valid points at all and still say that Fallout 4 is your favourite lol.

7:20 they did that as a reference to the interior so that when they designed the interior space, it was realistically the same size as the building that is seen from the outside. Some games you go into a small little hut and find that instead it’s a massive sprawling labyrinth with no realism or sense to it.
They forgot that for one building in which you go down a lift into the basement but if you exit through a door in the basement you appear on the street.

That's not at all how color blindness works. My uncle is color blind. He Was an electrician, what he sees red green and blue are different from what you and I see as those colors but he could still correctly identify them as red green and blue
Those teeth inside Vergil could be used for the gibbing effect that all characters make when you do enough damage to the head, legs, arms etc. So that once Vergil becomes a non essential NPC, you could blow his head off and those teeth and other giblets could fly out

You can figure out how Stanley Parable works by yourself without noclip, I was able to teleport past triggers and see how rooms are loaded in at what times. If you own it on Steam you can go to the launch options and put in -console, then in the console (`) you can type these commands to gain these powers: ] bind i "showtriggers_toggle" Make the trigger boxes that make stuff happen when you step into them appear ] bind h "ent_teleport player" Teleport to your cursor - tip: don't use on walls, you may get stuck in them or go outside the map and get stuck. ] bind 5 "ent_fire !picker unlock; ent_fire !picker open" Open any door no matter what ] bind 6 "ent_fire !picker unlock; ent_fire !picker close" Close 'em. That block of water underneath you (at 8:10) is probably a special "deformable" block of water that can display water ripples. It follows you around even when you're inside regular bounds of the game, but the edges are carefully made so they tile and you can never notice the seams.

The only reason i ask if u might be color blind-ish, is cuz my uncle was slightly color blind, with pinks and blues. Funny story, when he got married, he was supposed to buy a powder blue tux to match the color scheme, but he showed up in a pink tux. Sometimes, when you're outside, you can see the low polygon version of the world by looking through wood fences and walls that are "transparent" in some areas. I realized this when climbing a building inhabited by raiders, I was climbing the stairs the buildings have in the outside

The branch purple color is a very common placeholder used when the texture file for an object cannot be found. The object DOES have a path to a texture file, but such a file doesn't actually exist. It works like that in Blender at least. (which I did use for a while)
Just a heads up dude (also, love he video!), the set of teeth are placed in his head for IF you decide to kill him, and IF he loses his head in the process. Instead of spawning in the gibs after blowing up his head, they are already all present - including the teeth. My guess as to why there is no Super Mutant variant of teeth, is so it can save space and memory, like all video games usually do.
Talking about the glitchiness of water at 2:55, I suggest you to try to look for a way to increase NearZ or Near Clipping in game's engines if you encounter this again. This will clip more stuff that's closer to the player, yes, but this will also remove the glitchiness of geometry at huge distances, making the zoomout look much better.

Exile Studios I think you're failing to take into account the lore explains why there's only 4 casinos within the walls. Also there's a lot of ruins around New Vegas that count towards Las Vegas. Just because it's not it's own cell doesn't mean it doesn't count. However I don't know if it's actually to scale.

I always loved breaking the 4th wall in videogames since I was just a child. One thing I found out in every game is that shakiness effect you get on every polygon when you reach out too far from the center of the map. That's related to the floating point precision it seems, the bigger the coordinate numbers for every node location, the lower it's precision. It's amazing how the character, or any kind of object begins to disassemble on its own as it gets farther and farther.
If you freecam out of the cryogen area when kelogg murders your spouse there is no vault, just the room with the cryopods and everything else looks like neurons from the mission when you enter keloggs memories. Found this out on my second play through where I would freecam around to see what was there.
Hey Shesez, there is something BIG that you missed. You kind of touched on it in the video with your zoomout of Diamond City, how the rest of Boston is there but in low poly mode. It's not just Boston, and it's not just Diamond City. Go to any interior cell that has windows that you can see through. For example, Suffolk County Charter School, and clip outside. It's not just the surrounding areas that are rendered. THE ENTIRE FREAKING GAME MAP IS RENDERED IN LOW POLY INCLUDING STUFF THAT'S UNDERWATER! It gets even better as this low poly map updates to reflect changes in the in game map. For example the USS Constitution will be on top of the skyscraper if you complete that quest, despite you having no way to see that from the school you're in. I also tested this with Goodneighbor and found the same thing. The entire game map rendered in low detail outside of the area that you're supposed to be in. That's great from an exploration perspective, but that's gotta be hell for optimizing and a big reason why Fallout 4 needs 8 GB of RAM minimum to even play. I have no idea why Bethesda did this and did it for multiple interior cells.

Settlement building is meh, they just tacked it in, I don't care about my settlers, the food/water resources are canon-breaking, but yes the actual building of buildings in an engaging thing to do sure but that's not what Fallout should be about lol.
Guns/gameplay is meh, its not bad but really its just look and shoot and stimpack, and this ties in with the whole lame repetitive cycle of gameplay in Fallout 4, EXPLORE - KILL - LOOT.
And I can go on but I won't because you're probably gonna deny these are valid points at all and still say that Fallout 4 is your favourite lol.

Some games you go into a small little hut and find that instead it’s a massive sprawling labyrinth with no realism or sense to it.

Those teeth inside Vergil could be used for the gibbing effect that all characters make when you do enough damage to the head, legs, arms etc. So that once Vergil becomes a non essential NPC, you could blow his head off and those teeth and other giblets could fly out

You can figure out how Stanley Parable works by yourself without noclip, I was able to teleport past triggers and see how rooms are loaded in at what times.
If you own it on Steam you can go to the launch options and put in -console, then in the console (`) you can type these commands to gain these powers:

Make the trigger boxes that make stuff happen when you step into them appear

That block of water underneath you (at 8:10) is probably a special "deformable" block of water that can display water ripples. It follows you around even when you're inside regular bounds of the game, but the edges are carefully made so they tile and you can never notice the seams.

Amazing episode! Now i dont wanna sound rude but, r u slightly color blind? The untextured branch in the enemy, u say is pink, but it appears as either blue or purple. The only reason i ask if u might be color blind-ish, is cuz my uncle was slightly color blind, with pinks and blues. Funny story, when he got married, he was supposed to buy a powder blue tux to match the color scheme, but he showed up in a pink tux. It was hilarious, but his color blindness switches those colors for him.

The branch purple color is a very common placeholder used when the texture file for an object cannot be found. The object DOES have a path to a texture file, but such a file doesn't actually exist.
It works like that in Blender at least. (which I did use for a while)

Just a heads up dude (also, love he video!), the set of teeth are placed in his head for IF you decide to kill him, and IF he loses his head in the process. Instead of spawning in the gibs after blowing up his head, they are already all present - including the teeth.
My guess as to why there is no Super Mutant variant of teeth, is so it can save space and memory, like all video games usually do.
Talking about the glitchiness of water at 2:55, I suggest you to try to look for a way to increase NearZ or Near Clipping in game's engines if you encounter this again. This will clip more stuff that's closer to the player, yes, but this will also remove the glitchiness of geometry at huge distances, making the zoomout look much better.

Exile Studios I think you're failing to take into account the lore explains why there's only 4 casinos within the walls. Also there's a lot of ruins around New Vegas that count towards Las Vegas. Just because it's not it's own cell doesn't mean it doesn't count.

I always loved breaking the 4th wall in videogames since I was just a child. One thing I found out in every game is that shakiness effect you get on every polygon when you reach out too far from the center of the map. That's related to the floating point precision it seems, the bigger the coordinate numbers for every node location, the lower it's precision. It's amazing how the character, or any kind of object begins to disassemble on its own as it gets farther and farther.

If you freecam out of the cryogen area when kelogg murders your spouse there is no vault, just the room with the cryopods and everything else looks like neurons from the mission when you enter keloggs memories. Found this out on my second play through where I would freecam around to see what was there.

Hey Shesez, there is something BIG that you missed. You kind of touched on it in the video with your zoomout of Diamond City, how the rest of Boston is there but in low poly mode. It's not just Boston, and it's not just Diamond City.
Go to any interior cell that has windows that you can see through. For example, Suffolk County Charter School, and clip outside. It's not just the surrounding areas that are rendered.
THE ENTIRE FREAKING GAME MAP IS RENDERED IN LOW POLY INCLUDING STUFF THAT'S UNDERWATER!
It gets even better as this low poly map updates to reflect changes in the in game map. For example the USS Constitution will be on top of the skyscraper if you complete that quest, despite you having no way to see that from the school you're in.
I also tested this with Goodneighbor and found the same thing. The entire game map rendered in low detail outside of the area that you're supposed to be in. That's great from an exploration perspective, but that's gotta be hell for optimizing and a big reason why Fallout 4 needs 8 GB of RAM minimum to even play. I have no idea why Bethesda did this and did it for multiple interior cells.
