With this, Sir Johnny Mar may has just delivered one of his finest, deepest and more gorgeous pieces of music. There’s nothing else to do but enjoy.
Johnny Marr never received a knighthood, and he technically never will, and then also even if he did (which he won't due to direct criticism of the Royal Family) he said he would turn it down. He's not a knight, just a damn fine musician. Still a brilliant song.

This must be what Heaven sounds like! Wow! Very impressed by the songs I’ve heard from the upcoming ‘Comet’ album. Johnny is my new favorite guitar player. He uses the guitar like an artist uses a paintbrush -creating layers and textures that in this case are absolutely beautiful.

Jorge is right though. It was recorded in Crazyface, Johnny's abandoned factory turned studio in Manchester. And he's given a few interviews where he talks about the industrial past of the city, the factory etc, colour the mood and the drama of the album. So no, let's not fuck Manchester.

He is genius. He finds new sounds and combinations as Moz and his musicians do.
When *The Smiths* split up, people were upset. So upset, they speak about it today with the same sense of loss.
However, I tend to look at it like this - We now see Morrissey and Marr going their separate ways and those of us who have been avid fans only gain by the double creativity.
We now have two bands to watch and twice the listening pleasure and music compilations.
This track is very different. When the track first started, I was kinda saying "Oh where is this going"? when the track opened up, I enjoyed the song.

This is SUBLIME. It's like Inception soundtrack meets Goth meets New Wave meets Indie... how amazing are the vocals in the second part of the song?

Goth: yes. Sounds like early Fields of the Nephilim with a normal voice.
Moises: I'm a big fan of FoTN, but I just don't hear it. Perhaps the interlude piano playing could slightly be considered goth except for the stagnant marching beat that flows from the interlude. Anway, if you like both Marr and Fields you are in good company. We can disagree opinion wise, but it seems we both like the same sort of music. Cheers.
