Johnny has a really good voice. It's been said lots of times before but the simple minds similarity is very evident and that's not a bad thing at all. He's forever young!

My Son and I saw Him and his Band at THE WARSAW Greenpoint Brooklyn last month. They were Phenomenal! One of the TIGHTEST Bands I ever saw and I've been on This Planet for 64 years!
You just know that the Smiths were an outstanding band by the fact that they didn't even fully utilize their available resources (such as Johnny Marr's voice). Well done JM, you've changed people's lives for the better in a way that we can't even measure.
Well, Johnny needed years to improve his voice, but Morrissey had an outstanding voice at that age. I would say these days Johnny actually has the better voice. (His songs are also much better)

This song is incredible live btw , definitely try and catch Johnny Marr and his band on tour atm , they are totally awesome! I was extremely priveledged to meet Johnny Marr at the Ulster Hall 1/11/18 before the concert at a M,&G he is so nice ,down to earth and very humble, all this and the most talented guitarist ever ! The gig in Belfast was fantastic, the best night of my life . Definitely give yourself a real treat and catch him in the UK or Europe on the Call the Comet tour .
The choruses and chord changes this guy bust into. Always give even the dullest starting Johnny Marr or Smiths song a chance, they always get better, and damn if doesn't become one of your new favorite songs by the end......
