- Meshuggah's Bleed is probably one of greatest metal songs ever written. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my 30th than to push my limits with a song that has inspired me since the moment I heard it. I hope you enjoy!!

Listened so often to that song and i am still fascinated by this Riff. Great Work.
Same ! It never gets old. From the moment I heard it I was hooked and fascinated.
In a demo the drummer said he likes to take patterns, beats and polyrhythms and spread them out over the kit to add color. This riff seems like the same idea but on guitar.

I remember how my pinky tendons used to feel aflame after holding a phone up for two hours, but now I can hold a phone up all day without a hint of discomfort. Lesson: practice for several hours a day and your tendons will slowly catch up to your desires.

I bet this feels so good to play. I like to practice the drum foot patterns with my hand on a pad as a warm up. I've listened to this song probably 500 times and it never gets old.

This song is one of the best endurance workouts for your picking hand. I play the main riff all the time, but usually can't make it through the entire 7+ minute epic piece, lol. Well done!

The end has also some extremely hard and irregular groupings to memorize. Most guitarists who try this (and also people who make Bleed tutorials, showing the first 3 riffs lol) never make it there though. The grouping is extremely fucked

Even on top of that it forces you to develop a super economical approach in the right hand - which is super super helpful and kind of makes this piece required if you want to get better at this kind of music.
Somehow you make that right hand look effortless! Phenomenal work as always!
