I've watched this twice and thank u for the information. I've been eating apples with the skin on. But it's such a pain to scrap off the wax on the skin. Moreover, apples appear on the dirty dozen list as one of the most sprayed fruits. It's hard to find organic apples where i live. Is it still ok to eat apples despite the pesticides?
The information you provide is hugely important. It would make so much easier to understand and pursue more information if you got your production crew to display subtitles of the names of the bacterial species, the abbreviations, and essentially all the unfamiliar terms. We can’t rely on the machine generated transcriptions because of inaccuracies.

My daughter who is recovering from Lyme has a difficult time eating so much apple and doesn't like the skin. Can she get the same amount of pectin from peeled and/ or cooked apples?? Thanks!
We don’t want a prebiotic product which has been already snipped into smaller pieces, but takes time to ferment. May it apply same to PHGG? regular guar gum has longer chain polysaccharide so more likely reach the colon also slower fermentation.

maybe per unit weight once you remove the water content. either way...whatever works for you

I eat the peel. If I'm not mistaken, it contains pectin as well.
It sounds like to get pectin the sources are delicious carrots and apples I enjoy them every day eaten more now I know what good they do for me 👍💚

cruciferous veggies are good for you. as a rule, you want many veggies in your diet. Some have more nutritional content than others.
