He held the wr for this game for a long time, but that was before being able to get to the clock tower sub 7 min. Funny story about that, he was practicing to see if it can be done by humans because it was doable by tas and he accidentally was able to do that while making mistakes. He wasn't ready. You can find those videos on this channel. And this is his second channel.

I love SOTN, it's easily one of my favourite ps games. I even bought Requiem on my PS5 just so I could play it again. Watching you wreck this game is so unusually satisfying; I watched your GDQ run, I've seen quite a few of your videos and love them. Btw I never realized how broken this game is... I think I'm not dextrous enough to land those frame-perfect tricks, but you've given me a new way to view the game.

Surprised there was no Shield Rod, then again I know very little about SoTN speed running. I just know how busted the Alucard Shield spell is in regular play, and it’s location in the Coliseum area.

With a reset + rng manipulation for the meal ticket strategy, would a person still be able to do WR or the reset would lost too much time?

It's so funny when a new tech is so huge it causes new WR so unoptimized that we get to see a new WR every day and we still haven't got to the point where everything is so optimized we don't even know where to improve yet.

I still don’t understand why the run unequips the lapis lazuli, is the extra 20 possible crit damage not worth the frames it take to scroll up to the other accessory slot or is the extra crit damage potentially detrimental for the consistency of a strat?
The number of hits it takes to kill some enemies doesn't change, and many enemies he isn't going to kill because leveling up takes up time. That is also why he kills the first "two" bosses at the same time, so he gets 2 levels but one animation.
What could help is getting more crits when fighting the bosses, but that isn't something we can change much. caveat for that, the first two bosses would more crits be nice only if it doesn't prevent them both from being killed at the same time.
Damn, we're gonna have to start scouring the bible for new passages around the 15:20 mark.
Is the gear cheated? Honest question! i remember taking forever to kill some bosses you killed with 2-3 hits. Also how how did you get so many garnet rings?

I was playing this game endlessly for years, beat it to the full 200.6% and I do not understand couple of things. For example how did You achieved reversed castle without beating Boss wearing a special glasses which will allow You to see the orb and then after destroying it You simply unlocking the castle ?? In You speedrun it doesn’t really matter what armour or weapon do you have and I thought is crucial and necessary to fight with higher enemies in upper castle. It looks impressive but is really hard for me to understand what’s the point of collecting all of these stuff when You are Killing everything on 1-6 hits.
He used the glitches to skip parts of the castle that requires some objects (i.e. Holy glasses, gold ring, silver ring, and relics) to access. This speed run is so fun to watch. He must have played this game gazillion times to be able to acquire this level of skills. 🙌🏻
