Exactly, WG is just ramping it up. More Toxic tanks at a faster rate and try to squeeze every penny out asap. I have seen this kind of stuff many times before on line and irl........ cashing out before closing shop.

They are incapable of penetrating in the E75 from any direction. Maybe the roof? Their armor is too beefy. I play German heavies exclusively. The E75, Maus, and E100 are safe from it. Two surprised me in my E100, yesterday. It didn'tend well for them, lol All you have to do is look at the side and rear armor models in game to check against the pen values.
@@theonlyspartan34 They have a unique mechanic called "bleed through". It will still do 1, 2 to 3 damage per hit if it stays on target. Can easily lose anywhere between 2 to 3 hundred hp.
If they just take off the bleed mechanic to where it cant damage tanks without penning them it would make a huge difference n the tank would be hard countered by super heavies.
All you people stop crying about something that you guys created this to happen. 1e of all world of tanks and all these games have done this before. 2e by buying all the tanks every time they bring something out gave those guys the confirmation that whatever we do people will buy it.
Your opinion doesn't matter, only the major investors opinions matter. For them, the game is beautiful because there are plenty of insecure idiots/children who buy these things and increase those investor's profit margins. THAT'S all that matters.

I enter a T10 lobby yesterday. Man, I've never seen so many super heavy tanks with big armor. This is a change from what I normally experience, where most people opt for mobility. I guess the word is out. 🤣
The tank is having a similar effect in the game. People are starting to stick closer together. Not sure if that's good or bad, but it's hell being a lone wolf.
My take is the tank is fun I use it to scout and protect other tanks that are on the front lines or lagging behind I like to use it as a protector. The games I have been in and I have saved about 9 of them on video this tank maybe has come in first twice the others are still just like in the past. If you ask me I like it even more as someone who has played lights only to get killed because I am spotting and no one shoots the targets I light up to only end up surrounded by the enemy not being able to do nothing and end up dead. Well this is a breath of fresh air I can spot and if my team does nothing I can dish it out and still protect the one's that are fighting from more of these tanks. I think things will calm down but it has made spotting relevant again for me.
Quit this game at the end of last year. Glad to see I made the right choice. Haven't seen anything from WG that makes me think about picking it back up.
Another great video Eclipse, thanks👍 Perfectly put about this thing. Shocking and utterly disgraceful that such a vehicle could be put into the game, but worse still, it’s been shoved into WW2 mode! You have to wonder if any of them over at wargaming ever bothered to consider any of the points you just made before letting this thing out! It’s obvious they did not, but that really doesn’t look good on them. That’s either total incompetence or just pure greed. Neither are good. People complain a lot about artillery in WoT, I’m one of them myself, but artillery are nothing in comparison to this. Even the AVRE and Taran have nothing on this thing. I did consider simply not playing tier 8 or above. Sticking to tier 7 and below to avoid this absolute shower of s**t but in all honesty do I really want to continue supporting a company and using their product after they’ve effectively just stuck their middle finger up to 99% of the player base? No. Not really. So I won’t be playing their game at all until this gets put right. Will it matter?! Probably not. But if everyone did it they’d soon get the picture. Everyone’s free to choose at the end of the day, but I’d recommend cutting off their funding (don’t buy anything!) and ideally just don’t play and help cut their player numbers.
Listen, 6+ years ago I suggested in the world of tanks console forum the use of smoke. especially because of how many people always crying about getting one shotted by Arty. Personally, I gravitated towards playing Artie more than other vehicles because of my personal experience in the military as an 11 Charlie,(an indirect fire infantry man). after seeing the benefit of smoke being used as equipment, I realize now that there needs to be something to counteract these fast firing vehicles like the weasel in Cold War or the 249 in tier 10. Perhaps a trio of anti-armor mines launched from the rear sort of in the same manner that the smoke launcher deploys maybe they could have a time limit also like smoke, but perhaps longer they could protect you from being attacked in your weaker armored areas. All in all, I don’t know how to answer this, but perhaps This would interest Wargaming because it would also benefit them moneywise. (because equipment cost.)
I remember a streamer/youtuber called SirFoch called out WG hard for the release of the Chrysler K for not having any frontal weak spots. Seems like community feedback didn't stop the trend of OP premium tanks

I was in the tier 9 british tortoise, we had 5 T249, and the opposition did as well. I couldn't keep up to the battles, but it looked like a swarm of bees. Under 3 to 4 mins, the match was over and I never got to fire a single shell. Brutal first win of the day for that tank. Terrible xp. 😂
Personally I absolutely adore the tier 5 leopard, just as a matter of personal taste (Luch in hard mode IMO). I've been playing it since it was released. I wont buy this machine because I have a lot of experience with its playstyle and I could take the toxic to another level. You have a choice to buy it or not, but remember to some people ruining the fun for everyone else is the game.
WG at least made one person happy with this 'mistake', my wife. I will stop playing for now. Maybe come back if this mistake is fixed. Thank you Eclipse for all your help and tips to make my game better over the years. Good luck to you all fellow tankers. 👊🏻
It’s just a fun tank to runaround. Like the t3 German light tank the Pz-1c it’s just something for u to release stress. It’s popular right now because it’s new in the new year there won’t be that many running around. So before everyone gets bent just remember that there were a lot of ppl playing the Pz-1c for a couple of months just to release frustration then it got old and ppl moved on. Just play the tank and think of it as a tank to relieve your frustration from the game for a few moments
Tanks that the T249 can't pen are the Jgpz E-100, E-100, VKK, Maus, IS-7, IS-4, Obj. 279e, ST-II, Type 5, 60TP, Nemesis, and Rogal Dorn. Funnily enough the better armored Leman Russ has this small 50mm weak spot on the back engine deck, so it's not T249 proof though it will bounce if the light isn't aware of this spot. Sturmtiger is also mostly immune except for the 60mm side armor right above the tracks.
I think the Maubrecher has sufficient armor. I need to double check, but it might be the only T8 heavy with enough butt armor. Maybe roof or engine deck from above, but I think it's safe on the ground. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm at work.😭

But yes the Mauerbrecher, Ferdinand, Chrysler K, Obj. 259A, KV-4 KTTS, KV-4, O-Ho, Lowe, VK 75.01 K, Jagtigers, Brick, Obj. 752, Obj 257, VK 100.01 P, ST-1, Mauschen, VK 45.02 B, Bar, Tortoise, Type 4, and Hardcase can all block T249 shots. Unfortunately most are garbage to play in the current meta.
It's destroying the game. I mainly play tier 8, because tier 10 is full of one shoot garage tanks, but now at tier 8,,this things appear and wreck you completely. I can even understand how this tank can frontally breach my is3, like I've seen it did. Taking 800 plus... I got more then 35k battles and never Seen something like this.. Wot must need game testers and I would like to be one. Because it's impossible that someone tested this tank...
Very factual and well-made video. The problems and facts you mentioned get to the heart of the matter! Thank you for your contribution. I can only wish that WG would realise videos like yours...but nothing will change and the tank is in the game. In addition to the tank's abilities and problems with the tank, it doesn't fit into the game at all in terms of gameplay and visuals alone. Rockets and machine guns in Coldwar okay...but with this tank (and the introduction of the wonderful Rocket-Nightstalker), WG has gone 5 steps too far and finally killed the game.
Introduced this to be the light tank killer. This is typical of a war gaming attempt to balance the screw up they started years ago by selling OPT's for real gold. They flood the game with OPT's then Nerf/Rip patrons off and/or create another OPT to nooter the previous mess. This is how WG balances their game instead of just changing mechanics and/or overhauling RNG.
Those are much worse for the game than this tank lol. He’s talked about how bad they are for the game before though. This tank is definitely bad for the game though
@EcliipseHD I was playing it and caught a taran completely by suprose and 1850 damage later drove off feeling dirty! Was nothing he could do! 2 games later did the same thing to a batchat for full health completely free as he was isolated. That to me is not how a light tank should be able to function.
What's even more toxic about this tank is that the 1hp hits can actually set people on fire. 192 chances to proc that 10-20% chance to burn on the engine.
Like you say it's a specific tank for a specific task On Pilsen or close combat maps it excels but get caught out in the open and you're a 1 or 2 shot target

BOYCOTT WOT!!!!!!! As person who's been playing since 2008 literally was playing the beta on xbox. The game has fallen beyond far like 6 years ago the game was ok. Back when the hetzer was actually good and the HE nuke they did. Then they started adding noone stop premium tanks begging for gold that we can't even earn. Then the uprank system kicks in and completely destroys the game. Thers nothing good to say about wot now days. And I do my best to spred the word to people that accept sponsorships by them.
@@ragey666yes , you are right , the beta tests on xb360 started in 2013 and the game was out in 2014. I believe that it was out on PC in 2010. Perhaps he began to play some games on console in 2008 then he was a wot beta tester in 2013 , otherwise I don’t understand :)
Same BS in Cold War mode Era-2. First came the Wiesel Mk1, small fast firing auto cannon with a huge clip. Then GAU--8 (same tank essentially with this T249). They all seems to come in swarms. Both will chew thru all but the front armor of the heaviest tanks.
WG knows their game is facing the end. More bots to fill the matches, less players. So it's probably the last and best thing they can do to earn ridiculous amounts of money with thanks like the Wiesel MK1, T249, Nightstalker, Monsterjager,...Each new tank is getting more broken then the one before. Players getting vaporized game after game, and in a rage they buy the same tank to payback those who drove with that tank and becomes the monster they despised before 😂 That's a master strategy and big goodbye paycheck for WG....And people like me who spend thousands of euros to this game on digital tanks will lose everything when this game dies.
That tank didn’t ruin the game. Shity matchmaking, RNG, and catering to all the dumb streamers ruined it. I had around 40 people on my friends that played daily now I think there’s 7 of us left. Y’all say bad RNG doesn’t exist so explain why someone who has played since beta has started bouncing 60-70% of his shots. I used to post 6-8k damage nearly every match and block 4-5k easily. Now might as well be shooting spit wads
It’s been claimed that RNG can also be affected by skill level. Higher skilled players with superior WN8 and all that, shooting or being shot at by inferior players experience different RNG levels. The +/- range is different for different skill levels, higher skill would be +10/-25% and vice versa for low skill. That’s how I understand it anyway. And I don’t know if that’s even true, but it definitely seems to be.

The reason super unis seem to have better rng is because they generally position themselves in the right positions on the map, at the time, with the right tank, and the right ammo load out. They also, generally, are going to have vastly better game knowledge on where to pen and how much to lead shots. Unsurprisingly, when you do everything possible to negate rng as much as possible, it can have an impact. However, people are seriously deluded if they think rng and skill level are intrinsically related.

I pretty much stopped playing tier 10 when the AVRE came out. Then with all the matches with 10 TDs per side, it got even more boring. There are times during the day where you don't get drug up to tier 10 (too much), maybe 1 in 4 (ish) games when playing tier 8. But for the most part, it is tier 6 and 7 plus era 1and era 3 now and then. A couple weeks ago just finished the Swedish medium to 10, so much for that. Now ll'I play my 9s and 10s even less (if ever), what's the point in grinding tt tanks anymore?
I'm a light tank driver and I bought this thing. not easy to play, few hit points, no gun depression. But no problem. Hide in a bush and wait. The perfect tank for campers. Let the others do the work and you just clear up. And if you install a motor, you can quickly collect the leftovers at the end. Thanks wargaming. I have played this vehicle a lot over the last 48 hrs, got my first mark. This tank certainly causes issues for some other tanks, particularly any other light tank, lightly armoured mediums or TD (Arty is a given but I don’t have an issue with that lol). But it is NOT a god tank. Any tank with armour is going to laugh at it; which includes any Russian medium, solid armour TDs, Heavies etc. You don’t need to be trippin around in super heavies to survive as this video keeps suggesting. And yes WOT new what impact this tank would have on matchmaking, because they had a trail example with the weasel MK 1 a few weeks ago in Era 2 and saw the impact it had. To say strategy is gone from the game is also misleading IMO, I am always looking at what I am against, what I am in, the ground; so I can work out how I am going to have a good game (only an average gamer, so it doesn’t work out to often). As another commenter indicated yours reviews tend towards the negative more often than not and this one is not exception.

Way too many players (including super unis and most content creators) apparently just love not having to bother aiming! If WG won't remove auto aiming (and they never will) they should at least add an option to play in a non-auto aim version. You know, for folks who can walk and chew gum at the same time! 🤷
I dont even see this tank as this much of an issue, most of the players who are playing this thing are people who more than likely dont even have tier 10 or arent as experienced in tier 10, so from my experience ive only been dealing with unskilled players in this thing, the skilled players are still using the ebr or manticore, artillery is still more of a pain in the ass then this thing

Idk why people think it's good at all. Like everyone who doesn't like it isn't just because they are salty,we don't like it cuz it will make people who don't get it leave the game and everyone who will be left is will just be super no lifes who camp and make the game horrible to play.
I only brought this tank because of that iconic gatling gun noise apart from that this thing what they added is stupid/unwise/money-seeking/lazy/dumb/gamebreaking/toxic. This has me wondering will world of tanks console still exist come 3/4 years time, if it does then what could we expect, im scared 😱 I thought they were going in the right direction when they brought out the season with the 114 sp2 reward, that is a nice round balanced tank. Tier 10 is practically unplayable right now, id rather play tier 7 or tier 8 with professional matchmaking. I do hope wargaming realises what they done and don’t make anymore tanks like this.

I love these fast and deadly tanks that eighter makes or brakes the battle depending how good you are in the game. You need to adjust the style of playing when encountering these killer tanks. I've gone from loving this game to hating to game so many times I can't keep it straight anymore. Every time I think WG has destroyed it, I wait and see. I think (we) the players have become toxic and it doesn't help bring in new players, so yeah, the game will probably fail because of both. Everyone is entitled to be angry with WG, as they really seem to care more about quick profits over longterm health- I'm just not sure if the venting works in our favor? Other games cost 60-? dollars just to purchase and only last a couple years before a new version comes out. I spend as little as possible on it and then I can live with 5 dollars a month, but it sure would be nice if the company considered how their greed affects the player base. I used to spend a LOT more and got really pissed with each new OP tank, but what would I quit to? Fortnight?
Sometimes I think WG does this on purpose to turn over the player base. They torment the most veteran players, who have probably spent all they are going to, into quitting. Then a new batch of suckers will take their place and spend money again.

My solution 100 pen but way way worse accuracy after a few shots. Can still delete tanks like a dick but gotta barrel stuff. This is how I see them fixing it
What kills me currently is how many people are still playing tier 8 and up! It's miserable unless you're one of the folks running around in the OP flavor of the week.... but people don't care. I dropped down to T7 thinking "oh, surely a lot more people will be down here to avoid the cancer" but no! Still bottom tier against T8s or T9s every match. Is it really worth the pain to be top tier 25% of the time? I just can't understand it. This is the one chance T7 has to be relevant!
If they would make new maps other than recycling in the rotation what 10yr old maps that would take out the boring game play. The game play is stagnant because the maps are so damn old everyone pretty much knows where to go and basically it’s rng that decides battles. Get effing new maps in game. This tank will just break up the boring game play on these older than dirt maps
So i did some looking World War II ends 1945 Cold War starts and ends 1947/1989 the T249 was Designed 1956 what does not make sense is that what's in modern armor and it's the M48 Patton Designed in 1952 why did World of Tanks do this it doesn't make any sense to put this with World War II
The game is exactly the way WG wants it ,they pay thousands of dollars to put those pixels on the screen, and they want their money back 😮 So expect more tanks like this and battles that are finished in under 5 minutes 😂

When you think of WW2 tanks you don't think of a coffin shaped autoloading tank or a tank with a giant spider stuck on top let alone this gatling gun thing. WW2 tanks should be about Tigers, Shermans T34s etc (Tech tree tanks only) If people want to buy premiums/Mercenary tanks then make a game lobby separate to the tech tree tanks where you can play them and get commander boosts or earn extra silver/xp etc that you can use in the game to help you in WW2 or Cold war. We now have more premium tanks (419) than tech tree tanks (405) and throw in mercenary tanks (26) These op stupid non belonging premiums ruin the game experience for WW2. (Don't recall seeing a tank that had a giant spider or looked like a hot wheel car at Bovington :) Rant over....
Funny how ultimate pass tanks are flawed nowadays but ones you paid a ton of money is broken op. Nice one wg (slow clapping). Let's face it , 80km + lite tanks, arty nerfed to oblivia, I shot tanks and 4 min games, is by design, yrs ago there were consistently 11-15 min battles..Their plan is 3 min battles, and we're almost there

🛑🛑 I think the Operative Words are….. “the T249 needs to get behind you”. 💯 In a media that most maps within the game are Corridor Funneled Heavy Maps, the T249 is useless in 70% of the games it plays in. Yes the T249 can spot, and play passively while in Corridor Maps, however once detected; it’s usually game over. The T249 will be played heavily in the coming weeks, however like the AVRE and the Teefbreaka; the T249 will settle itself out. 😀💯

I'd been grinding 8, 9, and 10 lines but dang it's really hard now so I picked one up yesterday. Played 4 games. Got removed fast in 2 games. Came in 2nd and 3rd place on the other 2 games. It felt good sending an AVRE to the garage.

Playing War Thunder after the Weisel 1mk. WOT is now about crazy small tanks invisible tanks that can clip out a tank before you have a chance to defend yourself. In other if you want to compete use one of these OP tanks or toxic tanks. 15v15 of these tanks. Is Wargaming just getting tired of this game so they are putting crap out. Either way War Thunder is much more enjoyable to play to WOT.
The one mechanic is broken I.E it can full health tier x heavies but overall the tank plays reasonably mediocre and most casual players will find it difficult to be consistent. It's not overpowered as a whole but is completely broken in its ability to clip tanks
I quit this game ages ago because of broken pay to win tanks i stopped bothering with ww2 because always 2 arty higher tier then me literally every time I use a slow heavy and tier 8-10 is just garbage. Started to enjoy cold war and then the molot....its a pay to win game that's barely any fun just not worth it since quitting haven't swore at my tv a single time regular occurrence when I did play it..games trash. Why pay 40 quid for a single tank in a game with mid graphics at best crap grind/gameplay loop when you can buy an entire game for that price. Paid 24pound recently for gold edition resident evil 4 definitely less cost vs a pay to win in a crappy game but far far better quality of a product. People need to let this game die already it had its day like a decade ago theyre just milking the cashcow as much as possible now before the game is so dated its over for them anyway. Let it die.
Been playing for ten years, I just keep coming back to it. This tank is having the same effect the Avre did and we all figured out how to deal with that. We will figure this out too.
I've been playing since console beta. I've put up with all the BS Wargaming has done in the last few years... this, this tank... I Uninstalled today. I got got clips out in my IS7 with full health. It's Fn stupid and wargaming is Fn stupid for bringing it into the game. Goodbye. Goodbye to my consistent premium account, goodbye to me using premium rounds, goodbye to me buying season passes. I hope it was worth it wargaming. F U wargaming. I'm sure war thunder is going to love getting my money. You might to consider another game or channel because this Fn game will dead in 6mo.

They are incapable of penetrating in the E75 from any direction. Maybe the roof?
Their armor is too beefy. I play German heavies exclusively. The E75, Maus, and E100 are safe from it.

All you have to do is look at the side and rear armor models in game to check against the pen values.
And those kinds of experiences are why people are leaving the game.

They have a unique mechanic called "bleed through". It will still do 1, 2 to 3 damage per hit if it stays on target. Can easily lose anywhere between 2 to 3 hundred hp.
If they just take off the bleed mechanic to where it cant damage tanks without penning them it would make a huge difference n the tank would be hard countered by super heavies.
All you people stop crying about something that you guys created this to happen. 1e of all world of tanks and all these games have done this before. 2e by buying all the tanks every time they bring something out gave those guys the confirmation that whatever we do people will buy it.

I enter a T10 lobby yesterday. Man, I've never seen so many super heavy tanks with big armor. This is a change from what I normally experience, where most people opt for mobility. I guess the word is out. 🤣
The tank is having a similar effect in the game. People are starting to stick closer together. Not sure if that's good or bad, but it's hell being a lone wolf.

My take is the tank is fun I use it to scout and protect other tanks that are on the front lines or lagging behind I like to use it as a protector. The games I have been in and I have saved about 9 of them on video this tank maybe has come in first twice the others are still just like in the past. If you ask me I like it even more as someone who has played lights only to get killed because I am spotting and no one shoots the targets I light up to only end up surrounded by the enemy not being able to do nothing and end up dead. Well this is a breath of fresh air I can spot and if my team does nothing I can dish it out and still protect the one's that are fighting from more of these tanks. I think things will calm down but it has made spotting relevant again for me.
Not much point in trying to grind tier 8,9 and 10 anymore. Thanks for vid mate.
Quit this game at the end of last year. Glad to see I made the right choice. Haven't seen anything from WG that makes me think about picking it back up.

Perfectly put about this thing. Shocking and utterly disgraceful that such a vehicle could be put into the game, but worse still, it’s been shoved into WW2 mode!
You have to wonder if any of them over at wargaming ever bothered to consider any of the points you just made before letting this thing out! It’s obvious they did not, but that really doesn’t look good on them. That’s either total incompetence or just pure greed. Neither are good.
People complain a lot about artillery in WoT, I’m one of them myself, but artillery are nothing in comparison to this. Even the AVRE and Taran have nothing on this thing.
I did consider simply not playing tier 8 or above. Sticking to tier 7 and below to avoid this absolute shower of s**t but in all honesty do I really want to continue supporting a company and using their product after they’ve effectively just stuck their middle finger up to 99% of the player base? No. Not really.
So I won’t be playing their game at all until this gets put right.
Will it matter?! Probably not. But if everyone did it they’d soon get the picture. Everyone’s free to choose at the end of the day, but I’d recommend cutting off their funding (don’t buy anything!) and ideally just don’t play and help cut their player numbers.
Listen, 6+ years ago I suggested in the world of tanks console forum the use of smoke. especially because of how many people always crying about getting one shotted by Arty. Personally, I gravitated towards playing Artie more than other vehicles because of my personal experience in the military as an 11 Charlie,(an indirect fire infantry man). after seeing the benefit of smoke being used as equipment, I realize now that there needs to be something to counteract these fast firing vehicles like the weasel in Cold War or the 249 in tier 10. Perhaps a trio of anti-armor mines launched from the rear sort of in the same manner that the smoke launcher deploys maybe they could have a time limit also like smoke, but perhaps longer they could protect you from being attacked in your weaker armored areas. All in all, I don’t know how to answer this, but perhaps This would interest Wargaming because it would also benefit them moneywise. (because equipment cost.)

I remember a streamer/youtuber called SirFoch called out WG hard for the release of the Chrysler K for not having any frontal weak spots. Seems like community feedback didn't stop the trend of OP premium tanks

I was in the tier 9 british tortoise, we had 5 T249, and the opposition did as well. I couldn't keep up to the battles, but it looked like a swarm of bees. Under 3 to 4 mins, the match was over and I never got to fire a single shell. Brutal first win of the day for that tank. Terrible xp. 😂
Personally I absolutely adore the tier 5 leopard, just as a matter of personal taste (Luch in hard mode IMO). I've been playing it since it was released. I wont buy this machine because I have a lot of experience with its playstyle and I could take the toxic to another level. You have a choice to buy it or not, but remember to some people ruining the fun for everyone else is the game.
Just left a game with 6 on each side, game lasted less than 3 min
WG at least made one person happy with this 'mistake', my wife.
I will stop playing for now. Maybe come back if this mistake is fixed.

It’s just a fun tank to runaround. Like the t3 German light tank the Pz-1c it’s just something for u to release stress. It’s popular right now because it’s new in the new year there won’t be that many running around. So before everyone gets bent just remember that there were a lot of ppl playing the Pz-1c for a couple of months just to release frustration then it got old and ppl moved on. Just play the tank and think of it as a tank to relieve your frustration from the game for a few moments
Tanks that the T249 can't pen are the Jgpz E-100, E-100, VKK, Maus, IS-7, IS-4, Obj. 279e, ST-II, Type 5, 60TP, Nemesis, and Rogal Dorn. Funnily enough the better armored Leman Russ has this small 50mm weak spot on the back engine deck, so it's not T249 proof though it will bounce if the light isn't aware of this spot. Sturmtiger is also mostly immune except for the 60mm side armor right above the tracks.
I think the Maubrecher has sufficient armor. I need to double check, but it might be the only T8 heavy with enough butt armor. Maybe roof or engine deck from above, but I think it's safe on the ground. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm at work.😭

But yes the Mauerbrecher, Ferdinand, Chrysler K, Obj. 259A, KV-4 KTTS, KV-4, O-Ho, Lowe, VK 75.01 K, Jagtigers, Brick, Obj. 752, Obj 257, VK 100.01 P, ST-1, Mauschen, VK 45.02 B, Bar, Tortoise, Type 4, and Hardcase can all block T249 shots. Unfortunately most are garbage to play in the current meta.
It's destroying the game. I mainly play tier 8, because tier 10 is full of one shoot garage tanks, but now at tier 8,,this things appear and wreck you completely.
I can even understand how this tank can frontally breach my is3, like I've seen it did. Taking 800 plus...

I can only wish that WG would realise videos like yours...but nothing will change and the tank is in the game. In addition to the tank's abilities and problems with the tank, it doesn't fit into the game at all in terms of gameplay and visuals alone. Rockets and machine guns in Coldwar okay...but with this tank (and the introduction of the wonderful Rocket-Nightstalker), WG has gone 5 steps too far and finally killed the game.
Introduced this to be the light tank killer.
This is typical of a war gaming attempt to balance the screw up they started years ago by selling OPT's for real gold. They flood the game with OPT's then Nerf/Rip patrons off and/or create another OPT to nooter the previous mess. This is how WG balances their game instead of just changing mechanics and/or overhauling RNG.
So the sturmtiger ruthless all the 183s the taran the avre they are all TOTALLY BALANCED

@EcliipseHD I was playing it and caught a taran completely by suprose and 1850 damage later drove off feeling dirty! Was nothing he could do! 2 games later did the same thing to a batchat for full health completely free as he was isolated. That to me is not how a light tank should be able to function.
What's even more toxic about this tank is that the 1hp hits can actually set people on fire. 192 chances to proc that 10-20% chance to burn on the engine.

On Pilsen or close combat maps it excels but get caught out in the open and you're a 1 or 2 shot target

As person who's been playing since 2008 literally was playing the beta on xbox. The game has fallen beyond far like 6 years ago the game was ok. Back when the hetzer was actually good and the HE nuke they did. Then they started adding noone stop premium tanks begging for gold that we can't even earn. Then the uprank system kicks in and completely destroys the game. Thers nothing good to say about wot now days. And I do my best to spred the word to people that accept sponsorships by them.
How you work that out? Games been out since 2014😂 I would know I’m a closed beta tester been playing since day 1😂

I believe that it was out on PC in 2010.

I played a couple matches in my Type 5 Heavy earlier today. I killed three of these things in one match.
Same BS in Cold War mode Era-2. First came the Wiesel Mk1, small fast firing auto cannon with a huge clip. Then GAU--8 (same tank essentially with this T249). They all seems to come in swarms. Both will chew thru all but the front armor of the heaviest tanks.
This tank doesn't do damaged to the heavy tanks is-7 , mouse, and those heavy tanks lines
I have only played one game at tier ten since the release. No tier 9 or tier 8 have been played.
WG knows their game is facing the end. More bots to fill the matches, less players. So it's probably the last and best thing they can do to earn ridiculous amounts of money with thanks like the Wiesel MK1, T249, Nightstalker, Monsterjager,...Each new tank is getting more broken then the one before. Players getting vaporized game after game, and in a rage they buy the same tank to payback those who drove with that tank and becomes the monster they despised before 😂
That's a master strategy and big goodbye paycheck for WG....And people like me who spend thousands of euros to this game on digital tanks will lose everything when this game dies.
That tank didn’t ruin the game. Shity matchmaking, RNG, and catering to all the dumb streamers ruined it. I had around 40 people on my friends that played daily now I think there’s 7 of us left. Y’all say bad RNG doesn’t exist so explain why someone who has played since beta has started bouncing 60-70% of his shots. I used to post 6-8k damage nearly every match and block 4-5k easily. Now might as well be shooting spit wads
Skill issue and confirmation bias.
It’s been claimed that RNG can also be affected by skill level. Higher skilled players with superior WN8 and all that, shooting or being shot at by inferior players experience different RNG levels. The +/- range is different for different skill levels, higher skill would be +10/-25% and vice versa for low skill.
That’s how I understand it anyway. And I don’t know if that’s even true, but it definitely seems to be.

The reason super unis seem to have better rng is because they generally position themselves in the right positions on the map, at the time, with the right tank, and the right ammo load out. They also, generally, are going to have vastly better game knowledge on where to pen and how much to lead shots. Unsurprisingly, when you do everything possible to negate rng as much as possible, it can have an impact. However, people are seriously deluded if they think rng and skill level are intrinsically related.

I pretty much stopped playing tier 10 when the AVRE came out. Then with all the matches with 10 TDs per side, it got even more boring. There are times during the day where you don't get drug up to tier 10 (too much), maybe 1 in 4 (ish) games when playing tier 8. But for the most part, it is tier 6 and 7 plus era 1and era 3 now and then. A couple weeks ago just finished the Swedish medium to 10, so much for that. Now ll'I play my 9s and 10s even less (if ever), what's the point in grinding tt tanks anymore?

I'm a light tank driver and I bought this thing. not easy to play, few hit points, no gun depression. But no problem. Hide in a bush and wait. The perfect tank for campers. Let the others do the work and you just clear up. And if you install a motor, you can quickly collect the leftovers at the end.

-2MM makes this toxic for Tier 8 stuck in the lobby. Like the GAU-8 and Wiesels, it brings nothing to the game.
I have played this vehicle a lot over the last 48 hrs, got my first mark. This tank certainly causes issues for some other tanks, particularly any other light tank, lightly armoured mediums or TD (Arty is a given but I don’t have an issue with that lol). But it is NOT a god tank. Any tank with armour is going to laugh at it; which includes any Russian medium, solid armour TDs, Heavies etc. You don’t need to be trippin around in super heavies to survive as this video keeps suggesting. And yes WOT new what impact this tank would have on matchmaking, because they had a trail example with the weasel MK 1 a few weeks ago in Era 2 and saw the impact it had. To say strategy is gone from the game is also misleading IMO, I am always looking at what I am against, what I am in, the ground; so I can work out how I am going to have a good game (only an average gamer, so it doesn’t work out to often). As another commenter indicated yours reviews tend towards the negative more often than not and this one is not exception.
Auto aim is the bane of this game imo. Now this. Disappointed in WG.

Way too many players (including super unis and most content creators) apparently just love not having to bother aiming! If WG won't remove auto aiming (and they never will) they should at least add an option to play in a non-auto aim version. You know, for folks who can walk and chew gum at the same time! 🤷

I dont even see this tank as this much of an issue, most of the players who are playing this thing are people who more than likely dont even have tier 10 or arent as experienced in tier 10, so from my experience ive only been dealing with unskilled players in this thing, the skilled players are still using the ebr or manticore, artillery is still more of a pain in the ass then this thing
perfect counter type 5 fv4005 deadstar and sturmtiger nighstalker is broken as shet compered to 249 or buff back wt auf e100 from 4 to 6 and on the dorp gun from 3 to 5 like old day
Toxic Yolo-wagon. Ive been playing for almost 8 years, and this tank makes me wants to quit when i see more than one on each team.
This is the reason why im noy playing tier 8 or 9 anymore. No matter the tank its incredibly susceptible to its mini gun and speed.
Idk why people think it's good at all. Like everyone who doesn't like it isn't just because they are salty,we don't like it cuz it will make people who don't get it leave the game and everyone who will be left is will just be super no lifes who camp and make the game horrible to play.

Tier 10 is practically unplayable right now, id rather play tier 7 or tier 8 with professional matchmaking.

I love these fast and deadly tanks that eighter makes or brakes the battle depending how good you are in the game. You need to adjust the style of playing when encountering these killer tanks. I've gone from loving this game to hating to game so many times I can't keep it straight anymore. Every time I think WG has destroyed it, I wait and see. I think (we) the players have become toxic and it doesn't help bring in new players, so yeah, the game will probably fail because of both. Everyone is entitled to be angry with WG, as they really seem to care more about quick profits over longterm health- I'm just not sure if the venting works in our favor? Other games cost 60-? dollars just to purchase and only last a couple years before a new version comes out. I spend as little as possible on it and then I can live with 5 dollars a month, but it sure would be nice if the company considered how their greed affects the player base. I used to spend a LOT more and got really pissed with each new OP tank, but what would I quit to? Fortnight?

Sometimes I think WG does this on purpose to turn over the player base. They torment the most veteran players, who have probably spent all they are going to, into quitting. Then a new batch of suckers will take their place and spend money again.

What kills me currently is how many people are still playing tier 8 and up! It's miserable unless you're one of the folks running around in the OP flavor of the week.... but people don't care. I dropped down to T7 thinking "oh, surely a lot more people will be down here to avoid the cancer" but no! Still bottom tier against T8s or T9s every match.
Is it really worth the pain to be top tier 25% of the time? I just can't understand it. This is the one chance T7 has to be relevant!
If they would make new maps other than recycling in the rotation what 10yr old maps that would take out the boring game play. The game play is stagnant because the maps are so damn old everyone pretty much knows where to go and basically it’s rng that decides battles. Get effing new maps in game. This tank will just break up the boring game play on these older than dirt maps

So i did some looking World War II ends 1945 Cold War starts and ends 1947/1989 the T249 was Designed 1956 what does not make sense is that what's in modern armor and it's the M48 Patton Designed in 1952 why did World of Tanks do this it doesn't make any sense to put this with World War II
The game is exactly the way WG wants it ,they pay thousands of dollars to put those pixels on the screen, and they want their money back 😮
So expect more tanks like this and battles that are finished in under 5 minutes 😂

When you think of WW2 tanks you don't think of a coffin shaped autoloading tank or a tank with a giant spider stuck on top let alone this gatling gun thing.
WW2 tanks should be about Tigers, Shermans T34s etc (Tech tree tanks only)
If people want to buy premiums/Mercenary tanks then make a game lobby separate to the tech tree tanks where you can play them and get commander boosts or earn extra silver/xp etc that you can use in the game to help you in WW2 or Cold war.
We now have more premium tanks (419) than tech tree tanks (405) and throw in mercenary tanks (26)
These op stupid non belonging premiums ruin the game experience for WW2. (Don't recall seeing a tank that had a giant spider or looked like a hot wheel car at Bovington :)

Let's face it , 80km + lite tanks, arty nerfed to oblivia, I shot tanks and 4 min games, is by design, yrs ago there were consistently 11-15 min battles..Their plan is 3 min battles, and we're almost there

In a media that most maps within the game are Corridor Funneled Heavy Maps, the T249 is useless in 70% of the games it plays in.
Yes the T249 can spot, and play passively while in Corridor Maps, however once detected; it’s usually game over.

They keep pooping out these damn tanks and people keep buying them. I stopped playing World War II after the Avre and I watched a stream that had eight of them on one side Alone, I can't stand these stupid gimmick tanks.
I'd been grinding 8, 9, and 10 lines but dang it's really hard now so I picked one up yesterday. Played 4 games. Got removed fast in 2 games. Came in 2nd and 3rd place on the other 2 games. It felt good sending an AVRE to the garage.

Playing War Thunder after the Weisel 1mk. WOT is now about crazy small tanks invisible tanks that can clip out a tank before you have a chance to defend yourself. In other if you want to compete use one of these OP tanks or toxic tanks. 15v15 of these tanks. Is Wargaming just getting tired of this game so they are putting crap out. Either way War Thunder is much more enjoyable to play to WOT.

The one mechanic is broken I.E it can full health tier x heavies but overall the tank plays reasonably mediocre and most casual players will find it difficult to be consistent. It's not overpowered as a whole but is completely broken in its ability to clip tanks
I quit this game ages ago because of broken pay to win tanks i stopped bothering with ww2 because always 2 arty higher tier then me literally every time I use a slow heavy and tier 8-10 is just garbage. Started to enjoy cold war and then the molot....its a pay to win game that's barely any fun just not worth it since quitting haven't swore at my tv a single time regular occurrence when I did play it..games trash. Why pay 40 quid for a single tank in a game with mid graphics at best crap grind/gameplay loop when you can buy an entire game for that price. Paid 24pound recently for gold edition resident evil 4 definitely less cost vs a pay to win in a crappy game but far far better quality of a product. People need to let this game die already it had its day like a decade ago theyre just milking the cashcow as much as possible now before the game is so dated its over for them anyway. Let it die.

I've been playing since console beta. I've put up with all the BS Wargaming has done in the last few years... this, this tank... I Uninstalled today. I got got clips out in my IS7 with full health. It's Fn stupid and wargaming is Fn stupid for bringing it into the game. Goodbye. Goodbye to my consistent premium account, goodbye to me using premium rounds, goodbye to me buying season passes. I hope it was worth it wargaming. F U wargaming. I'm sure war thunder is going to love getting my money. You might to consider another game or channel because this Fn game will dead in 6mo.
