@@sheyrd7778 The truth of the matter isn't limited to WoT. It plagues WoWS, I cannot speak to WoWP as I've never played it. Team play in randoms is non-existent and lesser so for ranked battles. It's all "me, myself, and I" getting state boosts via farming. Winning is more of an after thought and blaming teammates for their failures, especially if they've yolo'd in and died in the opening minutes of the game. It's so disgusting and rampant, I've walked away for the last time. It would take a massive shake up by WG to get me back involved, like fixing their f'd up match match making that is weighted mostly by W/R and not so much on skill result stats. One should read their trademarked dynamic match making system (which is found here in google. It explains in detail, especially how it infers preferable MM for those with high W/Rs.
Your comment just holds an empirical bias, If most WG players actually cared about stats then this player base wouldn't be so clueless about its mechanics. I mean have you ever looked at your average player stats? This video is a good example by itself, do you think most of these players are super unicums striving for their 3 mark of excellence? Lol. If you do you must be one of those facebook ppl who thinks the way to rack up damage for moe is camping at the back of the map while your team dies when in reality it's simply about understanding and making the game's gears turn in your favor. Therefore there's no way someone can have good stats and at the same time be a drawback to their team because they are not inversely proportional concepts, quite the opposite. Now speaking objectively about numbers winrate does count towards wn8 so I don't know why you guys always come to such conclusion
I have been in worst games. I am also part of the problem. there are tanks that I hate. win or lose my objective for that specific match taking out that tank.
Well this game I showed was exactly as you say so few left. But All 14 of the remaining with 11 minutes to go died to a man for a loss in a game they should have won. Playing smart and for the win should have happened. At least one person on that team should have capped, and it didn't happen.
That “Detected” light bulb is interesting. In the computer game it only stays on for a second or so, 3 seconds after getting spotted. In this console game it appears to remain on the entire time you are spotted. Is that something new or is it a mod?
Console we get 6th sense for duration of being spotted. Before we get 6th sense every player gets a "!" to let us know a tank on other team is targeting us. And lastly we get "!" inside an explosion marker to let us know Artillery is targeting us. Still have the 3 second wait though before it lights up. Personally I wish it was more like PC the extra targeting tools are not needed and really makes the gameplay harder dealing with players who listen to the sounds and pay attention to the tools given to stay alive longer. Harder to make mistakes like it is on PC.
@ thank you for the clarification. Sadly though some PC players have a mod that keeps the spotted build up for the duration of them being spotted, after the 3 sec delay. Having never played the console version, to me it looks like it would be harder to control aiming and movement than the PC version, so as long as it is available to all then all is equal. I love WoT and WoWs, played for many years but I sucked 😂, so now I’m just a viewer (at 70). Thanks again for the clarification. Cheers from downunder. PS. When I first started playing our best ping was 320 and averaged 500, on the Us server and 500 - 900 on the European server, then the Sea server started at 100.
It’s because of idiots trying to make certain classes do what they’re not supposed to. Lights and TD’s(sneaky, hi camo tanks) have no business going to the northern part of the map. They are supposed to secure the southern part while the brawlers secure the north. It’s not rocket science. If you’re brawling in a light tank, you’re doing it wrong.
I should probably clarify. What I mean is that, regardless of the enemy stupidity, you should not have been in that position had your team mates done their specific jobs.
Very true. It really is the simple fact my team lost this match before I was even in position. And the other team well they lost because of overconfidence. So the game was very stupid from start to finish I never saw this outcome early on in this match. But it was very rewarding in the end.
LOL, this map, every heavy and most hard hitting TDS should push the hill. Win the hill, win this map. But alas, most players, including heavy tanks, want to push straight down the middle or the 1 line, which is death.
Some people have different goals for the battle. Some are chasing moe, some are doing contracts and some are doing daily/season missions for damage/kills. (worst one is spots, where you get suicide lights, and as a light player that irks me) Is this an excuse. No. Players should be able to do them while playing well, but they get hyper fixated on those things. Plus the large difference between skills, means that the game always has the suicides, the camping heavies, the over peakers and what not that die early, then the high skill player battle out in the end game. Exploit the noobs and just focus on your own plays. Then YOU'LL be the deciding factor in your battles. Just like in this one.
Sad part is there is no team play... there is on occasion , but very rare. Usually as previously said, it is about stats and capping the base. The other thing which happens is the everyone goes one side of the map.. the lemming train. Sadly most players have played most maps, and most times it is predictable that there are two or three lanes that the enemy will come.. but those are ignored. It doesn't help WG is pushing the premium tanks , that people buy , but have no knowledge or skill how to play. ( Started 7 years ago.. been really playing the last 2 )
Unfortunately Lemming Trains are part of the game since I played beta on PC they existed then as well. When teamwork happens it is amazing and everyone that won feels good. As for premium tanks Wargaming is in it to make money and they don't care who buys them. As players we hope it is experienced players but that will not always be the case.
Bro they need to buff some tanks speed and other stuff and they need to buff stupidity 😂but they need to make it fair for people who are still grinding to get the top teir gun on whatever tank plus they need to stop putting teir 8 in 10s because I can't simply pen teir 10s including they need to up the silver earn rate because I feel I'm losing alot of silver, it just sucks all around
Buff and nerfs need to happen mostly to Premium Tanks. Yes premium tanks should have some kind of outlier that makes them "premium/special". But they shouldn't be overpowered or require no skill to play. I can name several tanks from the recent year that fall into this category.
Hear me out, but it looks like the majority of players are PlayStation. Update 6.0 ruined what I loved about the game, but when they merged Xbox and PlayStation it royally screwed the game. PlayStation players got the game Jan 2016. I’ve been playing Aug 2013 since the beta. That’s a whole 3 years before they got it. I can tell you from experience that PlayStation players suck at the game and with a whole new wave of inexperienced players, it was unbearable. There are some good PlayStation players, but the bad outweigh the good. I understand they did it to cut cost and have everyone on one server and to boost player count on said server, but I was just fine playing with Xbox players only. I stopped playing it. I found myself carrying more often than I should. As Jingles would always say “Sometimes your best just isn’t good enough”
When both platforms combined I used to say that about xbox players too but back then it was a difference in meta vs meta arguments. Now it doesn't matter if it is PS or XBOX the players in general do boneheaded mistakes or fail to read map and lists to see what is left to win. I will be doing a video sharing my thoughts why this happened and it all began on the PC days to be honest and carried over to console in way of thinking.
Fair enough. Cloneguy did a video a while back emphasizing that all players do now is yolo and have no strat or map awareness. I couldn’t agree more with him because I experienced it myself.
Sadly, for most WG players it's all about the stats, winning and team play are secondary and distant third on the list respectively.
Yeah I should do a video why that mindset took place.

That’s because of moe…remove it …

Tbh most of WG players are older ppl who play for fun and don't care about the competitive technical side
This is a normal game for me, I've had way worse, the shortest match at tier X I've had was 2:21, and this was two days ago.
I have been in worst games. I am also part of the problem. there are tanks that I hate. win or lose my objective for that specific match taking out that tank.
We don't get to chose the maps after we select tanks. Just have to do our best when playing it is a game after all.
I find its even worse in Cold War. Most games i play end with the enemy team having 10 or more tanks. it's insane
I hate playing cold war. All cold war to me is an ATM cash grab if I need equipment or new tank.
I disagree. I hate it when my team caps when there's only a few enemy's to take out. Drives me nuts.

Even with one flank at a disadvantage, the rest of the team does not reposition for support. Collective ignorance
What an absolute fumble from the other team

So True! Westfield is a map that needs no introduction it was one of the original maps and is fun to play to this day.
That’s a lot of damage (blocked)

Everything you mentioned is true. Always play to the end regardless of mission, map, and team makeup.

@sheyrd7778 true but you know it's getting annoying playing with stupid people 🙄
Sry to say but this looks to me like your typical "Welcome to the crappy Team WoT" matches
