Camo reduction when shooting is usually around 70%, so reducing that by 35% is a huge advantage by cutting the reduction in half. The bigger the caliber the more your camo is reduced generally speaking. The actual stats of this unfortunately are hidden.
Great advice for New players but I use the following 'Priority' list for crew skill selection. I use the same initial 3 Skills on all my Crews : Born Leader, Sixth Sense, Situational Awareness. This ensures that all the Spotting effectiveness is then dependant on the Vehicle and subsequent equipment (Coated Optics and Improved Ventilation). Any additional Crew Skills would be Class and Vehicle specific. And don't forget the importance of Improved Combat Rations. This gives a Passive Bonus to ALL your Crew Skills....under utilised especially at lower tiers. Keep up the great work.
It depends on classes like the object 477A is a good example to not use sixth Sense especially the MBTS. The only one's that need are certain light tanks medium tanks and certain tank destroyers in ERA 2 and 3
I did notice you disnt touch on the fact that adding camouflage paint in appearance also helps boost your camo factor. Great vid though enjoyed some of the thoughts & reasoning you gave.
The “!” indicates that someone has locked onto you with the auto aim feature. Not that they are aiming at you. Have been hit before without the “!” appearing.

Cos I was arse at the game and consistently got shot cos I'm aggressive I was under the impression they would help. You told me you will get 3 extra shots into me if I have spall liner ect. I agreed like a plum for months. I reckon iv still got about 1 or 2 00 of my 800 tanks with spall liners including many lights. Listening to you would have improved my win rate by quite a bit I reckon.
So, on muffled shot, when to get vs when not to, if I have a clip I want to dump then think about it vs a single shot big alpha? Is that the right track of thinking on it?
Are you saying born leader will only give you 1% more added to each skill when it says 10 percent... Seems like i should get somthing i could use more if its simply 1%... Edit: i took born leader off my sta2 with camo comader perk. Stil concealment was 286.05 and it stayed 286.05 when i took it off as well as when i put it back on
Born leader does not effect camo. It only enhances things like spotting, reload, aiming time, repairs, crew healing. Mainly all skills rather than perks like cammo
I'm playing the WZ Scout Tier 9 with a friend. Everything is the same, commander skills, equitment, consumables, everything is exactly the same. I have worse camouflage values. And if I put the camouflage net somewhere else, it gets even worse. That's impossible, but in WoT it's possible. The game is so broken.

Again incorrect, detection goes off if any enemy points their gun at you after a 3 second delay. This info can be used instead of 6th sense, but you have to use it like pc. Expose yourself for a second before taking cover to see if the detected goes off 3 seconds later. If not then it is likely safe to poke again. Not that hard to work around.
I only use 6th sense on my scouts as I need that immediate information. Been hovering around 4.5-5k wn8 without needing 6th sense in most cases at t10.
@ I was part of the supertest team that tested this feature before release. Smart scout players who know this mechanic will lock their guns behind them so that enemies never get that detection (!) when spotted.
Incorrect, there's only 1 camo value that is a percentage that is no longer displayed by WG in game. This "still concealment" value is a made up bs stat to help dumb everything down for the player base. You take the view range minus the camo% of the tank you're trying to spot and that's the distance you will spot it.
Take for example the infamous ELC EVEN 90 which has a base camo of 22.12%. Add camo net which gives 15% on console (before the rework removed description) and camo skill 10% which makes the total camo 47.12%. Food will add 20% to crew major qualifications which equals a 10.8% buff to camo skill and tank base camo. Food and vents don't give a direct percentage buff to the tank stats. 10.8% of 22.12% and 10% are 2.38% and 0.58% respectively. That comes to a total of 50.08% camo value. That is why you can sit in the open and not be detected past 250m by any tank in this little pest. Then there's bushes which add another 35-80% camo depending on how healthy the bush is. This is why the ELC EVEN 90 can stay unspotted until the 50m autodetect range.
I must say I disagree with your 2and skill. What the point of improving only 1 skill. Make it your 4th or 5th choice, when its effect is so much greater

Like i said in cold war it depends only certain tanks need it some dont. But it's good to have in WW2

Almost forgot about the 5.4% camo value from born leader skill. So add another 1.73% or 51.81% total.

It gives you the bonus of crew performance which in itself is worth it, thats my reasoning
