As a life long mechanic in Ford dealerships and later as a repair shop owner I have to say I'm impressed with everything I've seen so far, the concern lifting the car, the care changing the filter to keep things clean and then seeing you get out and drive it, what good is a car if it doesn't see the red line once in a while and the way you go through the gears, awesome. Second gear rubber on a very smooth, quick shift, I know a number of guys who can't drive like that and would be lost if they had to do an oil change.

Awesome video great technique, I also used to have the same GT350 before I sold it and did so many mods to it including corsa long tube headers, oil catch cans, tuning , black matte stripes and much more but ironically enough here in Miami it caught so much attention i ended up selling it because i actually recieved an offer i couldnt refuse . I now ended up buying a C7 vette and tried to start a youtube channel about the Vette but just didnt follow through. Anyways congrats on the GT350 , its an awesome car :)

oh one other thing im right now preparing for the next build on my 1964 and a half v8 coupe mustang ive got the entire front end swaped out manual rack 68 , i think spec knee assemblies for the disc brake front end , posi rear end, a kitted c4 with a quicksilver shifter, . its been bored and stroked for 302 crank rods and pistons . msd blaster ignition and msd billet distributer to match an edelbrock street performer intake with edelbrock carb i have a holley too . this next build will be adding a bit more cam, roller rockers a bigger radiator , probably a crossflow , and the only set of headers i could even find ili shorties i think they dump in the same place as the stock manifolds , id love an irs set up but the piggy bank just wont cover it right now, i am going to get the gear drive tho. love your mustang glad to see your choice in oil thats exactly what i would have done too oh and very cool shock tower brace ill be doint that as well

  • @4FastEddie1
    @4FastEddie1 5 років тому

I ONLY KEPT WATCHING THIS VIDEO TO SEE WHAT KIND oops of oil you were going to use . ive had nothing but absolute satisfaction with the amsoil products they are all i will use . in a used vehicle ive been doing a quick oil change with the fomoco synthetic blend usually 500 to , well less than 1000 miles drain that completely, then right in with the amsoil. i have noticed significant performance increases , from an oil change ! I am an amsoil fan for ever, it took 15 quarts to change the oil in my 06 f350 king ranch diesel. i also added the remote cooler, the bullit proof billet water pump and 7.3 diesel fan conversion. the egr delete kit was mandatory as were the sinister headgaskets and the arp studs. i topped that off with brand new michelins , then parked it in front of my home in florida. where is was stolen less than a week later all on my doorbell cam. that was my truck for life . no recovery , didnt get nearly what it would cost to replace the stock truck let alone everything i had in it . i did all this work before any problems happened, i cannot implore you enough to do the same , oh one other item straight 4 inch pipe exhaust no cat no resonator no muffler , what a great sound . im still heart broken over it, and apparently im finding out there was some kind of glitch fault hack to the fords antitheft system . the guy pryed his way in with a long bar , was in the truck for 2 minutes and it started lite up and drove off, all with the antitheft set . lo jack your vehicle , maybe you cant stop them but with a lo jack you can find them . my biggest mistake , no lo jack.

Also, a word of advice, I perform my own oil changes myself and everytime I complete an oil change on my car, I buy the next oil change's parts so I have them for the next service. Glasses and gloves, awesome! You know I have to give you a tip or two... Put the oil filter inside the housing (on the ground) then add some oil into that housing (this will give you some oil in the filter - so, when you start your car, it will NOT run dry for so many seconds-- As the oil pump is running, it has to run through the filter first and then out... that delay can cause some wear on your internal parts - as you can imagine)...
It might be a little ''bouncy'' in the oil and a little more difficult to reinstall, but, we take the good with the bad...
That was the amount of oil that you had to add after you ran the car and rechecked - that was the oil that filled the oil filter...
Okay girly, awesome job on loving your car... Keep it up and no speeding!
I am Kai (sense you enjoy chatting me up)... ha And, I guess I better subscribe or just allow youtube to keep sending me your videos anyway... haha

    • @woman.driven

A babe, you said you rear wobbled... it is called ''fishtail'' (fishtailing") here is a link and I do not know when you changed your front end springs but that can also contribute...
You have a posi rear (not your butt but the car's read) and it should ''push'' straight, in theory and not fishtail (sometimes people break their posi rears and that causes fishtail)... But, look at this link and feel free to inquire if you are lost anywhere in the post... www.americanmuscle.com/oversteer-and-understeer-explained.html

Great video and car! Nice to see someone learning for themselves and having so much fresh gearhead passion! I just have a safety recommendation though: make sure your Quickjack frames are oriented left to right such that the locking bars are on the outside, so you don't have to reach inside the scissor mechanism to set them in place/unlock them when done. Enjoy the ride!

Enjoyed the video. Awsome car like what you done so far. Tip next time when you do your oil change. Before you put back the cover guard. When changing the oil filter. And warm it up. Check to see if you have any leaks. Coming from the oil filter the cap is sometimes funny when putting back. PS. Amsoil is the best for that sweet machine.

I felt the genuine joy and laughter you had when you floored it!!👍🏼Keep it up!!! Looking forward to more videos!!! Your shifting isn’t that bad either.. you could use a lil bit of racing practice but non the less good overall.

That’s a beautiful car and fast I’m a truck driver I haul heavy equipment. Last week a guy ask me to teach him how we operate big trucks 18 speed that’s what I drive. I teach him and he let me drive his fast mustang like yours let me tell you something is a very very fast car. Keep it up and stick with amsoil products are the best.

The Amsoil is the perfect oil for these newer performance cars. You can pay the membership fee to save money from Amsoil and just order it before you need it.
Have you done the catch can yet? Not sure if its that important on Mustangs since I drive 6 speed Hellcat.
Your going to learn so much doing everything to your car yourself. This week oil change next week twin turbos haha.

    • @woman.driven

Woman.Driven I have a 2011 GT500 I’ve had for a couple years now and always looking for the next thing to do. Changed supercharger to a Whipple 2.9L, long tube headers Borla mufflers, MeCloud clutch, Rohana wheels, Nitto tires,Trufiber upper and lower grill. A few other little custom things under the hood. Ceramic coated the paint. You should do that really makes a difference and your new paint will be even more protected.

You should take advantage of the shift light and shift tone feature. I didn't even realize it had that until I stumbled across it in the settings one day. Helps so you don't have to look at the speedo so much up in that 8250 redline :)
