I switched everything over to full synthetic and installed Fumoto drain valves. This way I can get a sample @ every 5,000 miles send it to Shell for around 15 bucks I get a full analysis of a break down of contaminants including what type metals may be in the oil. 3 or 4 days later, I get the results. If everything is okay, then I simply change the filters.

lol..I mean..a lot of mechanics if that's the case. Motor mounts depending on the car..well in general are a pain. I've seen some friends replace them on their cars and it almost always turns into a fight with them and the car. I love how you do your own oil changes even on a brand new truck! I do the same after the dealer forgot to put the filler cap back on and almost killed my engine. Funny thing is after that they gave me free oil changes for life but I still won’t go there. Love the videos btw!

You did really good, but one tip next time before you installed the oil filter but oil in it half way and the rubber seal on the filter rub oil so it stays moist and whit the heat it doesn’t crack but everything else you did really good

When I first started editing for segments at the TV station I used to accidently see them in the final versions. Happy to see a successful first year and hope many are to come. The cut was basically the big ol bolt that was near my hand. I should have known it was coming the second I struggled to break that bolt loose lol. The edit at 11:02 was actually on purpose. Happy New Year to you and all the positive minded people. I know if you want your vehicle fluids serviced, it is best to do it yourself. Too incidents involving oil changing businesses where they don't replace a filter gasket or tighten it properly, etc. Good job.
We know You're a true car girl and not afraid to get your hands dirty. But always use gloves. I'm always scratching or hitting my hands on stuff in cars when I least expect it! And a pocket flathead screwdriver ALWAYS comes in handy for opening seals on oil bottles!
Nope..at this point dirty hands don't really matter. I still use gloves regardless until I need the sensitivity of my fingers when doing something with bolts. I will keep that in mind for next time. That was a bit annoying trying to open it lol. Thank you.

I wish Ford would drop that new 7.0L or 7.3L (can't remember displacement) V8 that's coming out into the next Raptor. The current Raptor's EcoBoost V6 is a great performer, but not sure how it will hold up over time.

What a nice and informative video, one time I was changing the oil and when I pulled the wrench to loosen the bolt, when I pulled, the wrench came off the drain plug and it hit me right on the bridge of my nose, I still have the scar, great video, saludos

I wish Ford would drop that new 7.0L or 7.3L (can't remember displacement) V8 that's coming out into the next Raptor. The current Raptor's EcoBoost V6 is a great performer, but not sure how it will hold up over time.

What a nice and informative video, one time I was changing the oil and when I pulled the wrench to loosen the bolt, when I pulled, the wrench came off the drain plug and it hit me right on the bridge of my nose, I still have the scar, great video, saludos
