- Scientists have discovered a virus in West Africa, which affects cacao trees.
As a result the virus is threatening the world’s chocolate supply.
“Ghana is the world’s second largest producer of cacao plants,” Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus said.
“And has lost an estimated 15 to 50 per cent of its harvest to the virus.
“This is clearly shocking.”
