A really interesting video and Bike. As a GS owner I am not going to be chopping it in for one of these any time soon, however, I have to say it is a cracking looking Bike and very well kitted out. Once reliability and durability is proven it will be a serious contender for sure, which is good stuff imo, because if nothing else it will ensure the bigger brands will have to up their game to keep customers, competition benefits all of us, no matter what we ride.
So, I have a Voge 525DSX with 12500 kilometres in 1 year of ownership and I still can't believe I bought it for 6000€. Now, as for the 900DSX, ONLY the engine block is lifted from a 900GS, all the other parts are Loncin made, but with equal quality. The main downsides of thia bike are : 1) The throttle response is snatchy on Sport mode, ao you put it in Rain for City Riding, and it is vague at 2000-3000 RPM, something that was almost cured with the 4.4 Update. 2) The engine shoots a lot of heat on your lower part of your left leg. BUT, once you do around 5000 kilometers and put quality oil into the engine, the temperatures drop a lot. And of course, since it is Euro5, if you remove the catalytic converters and just put a Full System Exhaust, everything would be better (heat, throttle response, fuel economy)
Loncin who own Voge have made all the inline parallel twin engines for BMW and have for nearly 20 years, they also make full bikes for BMW in the form of the 400 scooter. As you say the engine is the same and the rear chassis is the same as the f850gs, the wheels are also the same. I’ve owned the DSX for 5 months now and it’s an absolute bargain
Great review Al and who would have thought it, Voge have really stepped up their game with the DSX but I wouldn’t trade my Honda for one, let’s see how they have faired in 12 months time and then if the feedback is good I may consider one because being Chinese they will be well cheap at a year old if they haven’t rusted into oblivion 😀👍
Love the look of this thing. I’m a Tracer GT+ rider so like the tec especially. This is bloody fantastic value for the money. An obvious copy of the 850GS and why not? The Met police use 850GS as their go to bike these days and this is half the price!! Once they get their dealer network properly in place they’re going to take over the world!
It’s definitely a lot of bike for the money and definitely shows how china 🇨🇳 is dominating the world with manufacturing, and for the doubters ours parents / grandparents doubted the Japanese bikes when they first hit our shores watch this space china will rule the world 🌍👌☝️
Why don't you tell people what your inseam measures ? I am 5ft 6 inch but have a 29inch inseam there's NO WAY I can flat foot this bike. Why don't bike manufacturers look at the market properly. There are thousands of vertically challenged bike riders out there who would love to have this bike myself included. If this is an honest report then tell people the truth.
Thank you for watching this video if you want to see the 525 DSX in action check this out - ua-cam.com/video/EXqYfzJFjH8/v-deo.html

Game changer 👍
100% 👍🚀
Amazing. The price and quality give more people accesibility to fun of owning an adventure bike.

Same prob with a Ducati Multistrada 1260 at 18k
The engine from bmw is Loncin made
Wow! What can I say all for 9k? Oh, this is going to rock a few boats. 👍👍
I so want to swap my Africa Twin right now for one 🤩
Nice looking bike, with a lot of extras as standard 👍

@@gazmoto I totally understand 👍 But I reckon it’s gonna still be awesome even after 3+ years. Maybe I should buy one and see 😉

@@clivegoodman1149 It’s such an awesome bike to ride well worth grabbing a test ride 👍
Also you wouldn’t worry about parking this in town, I live in London!
So how does this compare with the CFMoto 800mt? The bikes seem almost identical aside from the engine?
Good review. Are there any features it doesn't have? Incredible. If only it was the weight of a Tiger 900.
Not that I can think of. You really don’t feel any weight when riding it’s super light 💡
@@Daz533 They're all overpriced at the moment - takes Voge to come along and show just how silly its become.
@@daddystu7046 true pal 100% agree. Just suits the PCP brigade that’s why the used bike market is so expensive.
looks fab... what a price!!! unbelievable.. ( nobody mention BMW)
Shh 🤫 BMW are very upset 🫣
@@HelmetHead 🤣🤪
Well, that settles it.Have to wait till it comes here to Australia. Its a n brainer.nothing else stacks up to this.
It will be worth the wait 😉👍

100% It’s so much bike for 9k
Well yeah it is easy if you steal all the technology
Warranty period? Not mentioned
Check the website link in the description 😉
2 yr
2yr
By European law it has to be 2 years
Little pinks!
@@teamtempest844 what’s that mean?
@@HelmetHead it's a reference to the bike being made in China. Same post appears on other Chinese bikes reviews from the same poster.
@@neilmackinnon3371 Ah I see cheers Neil 👍
Nobody spends £9,000 on a bike to ride to work 🤣.
I have and more 😂
I didn’t spend half that on my VW Tiguan and it has a roof along with a heater 😂
@@gazmoto 😂
That is literally what most people do
I spent almost 12k on my bm for work and that was 20 years ago! I still own it as well.

You can always go and test ride one 😉 make sure your happy and talk to the dealer about potentially lowing the bike if needed 👍
Cf moto 800
No this is a Voge 900 DSX
Time will tell. Anything made of Chineseum is potentially sketchy.
There is a guy, I believe in Italy, with a Voge 500DS with 150.000 kilometers. And here in Greece , I know 2 people with more than 70.000 kilometres.
