    The other 'main brands' deserve to be quaking,they have been ripping the customer off for a few years now, there is no reason they need to charge/price their products and the price they do motorcycles should not be a 'Luxury item'. I have felt this for a while now..as an example why are someone like BMW or Triumph (900cc examples) charging twice the price for more or less the same product WITHOUT all the extras Voge supply as standard.. we've been ripped off for too long so i really hope Voge and CFMoto do well and if i were in the market for a new ADV bike id certainly be looking at these.

      @@stevesteve1965. Well said and obviously the sentiment of many, it’s hard enough in the current climate to
      Manage. People in the past chose motorcycles as a more economical mode of transport. In many parts of the world it’s still a primary source of transportation. I not bothered about the badge, if it rides nice and puts a grin on face, that’s enough. It’s a feeling that only motorcyclists understand that’s a feeling that shouldn’t be taxed or exploited ✌🏻

      @@motechRevolution A few years ago I wouldn't have bought anything Chinese that I could get made anywhere else, purely because of human rights concerns (in particular the persecution of the Uyghur minority) but since the genocide started in Palestine last year, those concerns have all gone out of the window. I went into a guitar shop in Surrey and asked if they had any Furch guitars (a very well-renowned Czech brand) and they told me they didn't have many, and invited me to try an Eastman, which when I asked them where they were from they said Beijing. I tried a couple of their Furch guitars but didn't buy (they only had a couple of the more expensive ones, beyond my price range). But Eastman guitars are a well-made product, comparable to western brands that cost at least twice as much (and absolutely not to Chinese sister brands of western makes like Gibson). Still haven't bought one. If I'm ever in the market for a big bike I might give one of these a look as we have a dealership not far from me. What's the MPG?

    I took a gamble with the CF Moto 3yrs with the 650 MT. And I love it . I've done over 13,000 miles touring Ireland Scotland & Wales. And she's never let me down No issues whatsoever. I took the first test ride of the Voge 900 in northern Ireland and have to say wow amazing Tec and a fantastic bike . Unlike CF Moto . They seem to be having trouble with distributing the bikes.northern Ireland only has 2 bikes and I'm told there's No More until next year? So what does this mean for parts servicing warranty? That said the bike looks feels & ride brilliantly. Not one issue or bad point on the test ride other than setting everything to my own linking and feel. It's better than the new triumph Tiger 900. • @motechRevolution
      @motechRevolution  2 місяці тому +3

      @@kevindarkstar I have addressed this before, but here are my thoughts. The 4.2 or 4.3 update are official but from Voge memos they say .4 or just under half an hour to update. Updates on any motorcycle are not compulsory or does the dealership need to contact users everytime there is an update, if a customer complains of bad riding experiences the dealership will probably offer to update. So it's my thinking with thousands of these bikes sold already in Europe no dealership will contact any buyers. When does a car company get in touch to update your sat nav or your car ECU, never. That's why companies make power commanders etc so you can change the map yourself. There is an Italian guy, I have just posted on here check out my post. He is re flashing Bosch ECUs they are the same for CF Moto and Voge. He is saying that it does not invalidate warranty. In years gone by motorcycles were alway re tuned at specialist garages, now it's all done through the ECU. The fact we can now flash from our phones is a bonus. You guys just need beta testers like me to confirm the improvements. Nobody need to change their bikes, it's your choice guys . I am glad I did.
      The only question it begs is why did CF moto and Voge release these bikes with a bad ECU map. ?

    Hi Paul. Thank you for the overview of it. I just wonder if i am the only one that became pretty angry about the bike.
    Well yes, subjektiv and objektive. But do objektive first. Main problem is the engine. From the start i have a lot of noise from ventiles and inner chain. All works but ratteling means to much tolerance inside usually. I compared the engine sound with BMW (old 800 and 850) and its far away from that. Also i ride the old f 800 GS with conventional (bowden) gas and it was like i like it. I ride a lot in town and it's pain in the back with the mapping (4.1) and the weight that behaves like a battelship in a bath tube on slow traffic. Fun is only on the motor/ freeway. But usually riding a motorcycle is most fun at speeds about 30 and 80km, riding to a beautiful landscape. In this range of speed it's still no fun to ride. Also my mirrors and the rear rack look like ten years old, light gray like i went to the desert. Ergonomic is strange also. Arms are nearly stretched and knee-angle is like a supersport bike. I watched my 1,96m friend on it and it looks strange (also feels) So you have to rise the handlebar and lower the foot pegs(no products for official use here germany) Also the seat is hard and wide for long distance (hard) and to wide if you like to move it while parking for example and also to low, but if you rise it you get into a strange position...
    So my subjektive conclusion for what kind of people this bike would make happy.
    ADV traveling more tarmac than gravel road. Scorpion tires are nice for freeway but for gravel better get some 70/30 tires.
    Shorter than 1,80m riders.
    Off road only if you have experience with some BMW 1250/ 1300 GS or Multistrada or training.
    Well, you get a lot of bike for the money, but in my case i regret it a bit. This handling and bad mapping is killing my fun. Every motorcyclist know what i mean.

    • @motechRevolution
      @motechRevolution  2 місяці тому +1

      I understand exactly what you mean, to make the bike totally different to ride you need the 4.4 update. It totally changes the bike, it totally gets rid of the agricultural engine note, it irons out the throttle and because the engine is revving as it should it refines the slow speeds manoeuvring by keeping the centrifugal forces stable. The ergonomics of the bike need to be adjusted for some people, that’s the only time I would use the price as a reason for not including adjustable seat height etc, a bar raiser made my riding position perfect. The Scorpion tyres are road biases for sure, that’s one thing I intend to swap at some point, I have had the back end step out a few times on sandy bends. But honestly my friend you will thing you are on a GS if you do the 4.4 update, it really is that good. ✌🏻

But we will see. In germany the dealer only have 4.3 so i have to wait a few days. My oldest friend recently traded in his 18 month old GS1250 for a V4 Multistrada. He lost £8000 In depreciation. That’s twice what my Voge cost. If I get 10 years out of my Voge riding it on the tracks and trails around my house it will have been a bargain. @motechRevolution  2 місяці тому

      @RobertNiewenhuis It's true a lot of junk motorcycles came out of China, but I genuinely think they have upped their game. The difference now is the components, if your son serviced a DSX 900, he would be familiar with all the parts, Bosch , Brembo, KYB. Plus a long term tested engine that BMW use. In the past, I guess they used their own parts and consumables, now most bikes are built in Thailand or Malaysia, Triumph for one but they all have quality components. That's the difference. But yes I get your Son's standpoint. But the same thing was said about Japanese bikes in the 70s to start with. @motechRevolution Until they establish themselves as a company in the UK with spare parts, after care, honouring warranty claims etc, I'd not touch them.. don't get me wrong, for what they offer at the price, it's bloody good value, but it's still early doors yet. See how they hold up after a couple years.

    They are not the same frame as 850 GS, not the same swing-arm, you are wrong and spreading misinformation, in fact apart from engine which also prob has some diff components I dont see anything the same, wheels are hard to tell. Im not saying the voge isnt a decent bike

      @@guestappearance3211 there may be some slightly different castings, but they are virtually identical. The engine is the same, the VOGE 900 at the Italian motor show even had a BMW sticker on the Engine, I am guessing you are probably a GS rider, if not excuse me, ride safe ✌️

      @@motechRevolution Virtually the same isn’t the same, once you know its not the same casting there can be many things actually different, thickness, strength. And a sticker means nothing, would you like me to buy you one on alliexpress. Same with swing arm, similair shape completely diff casting. And I cant see any other bit of bike the same, just similair. Swingar diff casting so anything can be diff, material, thickness….

      Thanks for pointing this out. I took the info at face value from the video and you're correct it's not true. I can compare many areas to my F850GS and see there are differences.
      Maybe Voge improved some components? Who knows. But to state they are identical is incorrect.
      Also as an engineer, I would point out that even if 2 parts look identical, they still may be very different. Are they made out of an identical material? Are the tolerances equal? Do they go through the same processes and quality controls? We have no way of knowing this.
      This Voge looks like a great proposition. I seriously don't know which I would go for, a 2yr old F850GS or one of these brand new. Nice to have the choice available for sure.
