I just bought a BP 201 for my work truck it's a GMC c5500 when I was wondering what are the cam specs on it I have not seen it yet I just ordered it today
there are very few video's of people with the 201 cam. Do you happen to have any kind of numbers to what it puts down. I know the 201 cam is towing but im curious how it improves on the Tq output compared to the 202 cam...
Sorry, no I don’t. Never had this thing on a dyno before. But with these changes I did (201 cam, intake mod, 90mm throttle body swap, and 42 lb injectors with a retune on the ECM), I feel like I didn’t loose anything on the bottom end, but gained quite a bit in the mid range. It’s real fun to drive. I have a 202 cam in my carb swapped 8.1 in my c10, and that one feels like it has a bit more than the 201 cam in the high rpm’s and maybe a smidge more in the mid range (but hard to tell exactly while driving cause each vehicle is so different)
How and where did you mount your side steps?
Went with the 201 over the 202. Hoping I made the right choice...

Does the 201 idea as smoothly as a stock cam? Raylar says that is does.
