To be very open with you all, last year (at 32 yrs of age) I had a full hysterectomy and bladder repair. I was also diagnosed with PTSD and bipolar (on top of alreadybeing diagnosed with severe anxiety and severe depression. I found myself with my own personal pharmacy. I didn't like being on so many medications. My practices in yoga and chakra healing have nurtured me down to five out twenty-two medications. It has been difficult to find medical professionals that agree with my using these methods but I am living the proof.

@@YogawithAllieVanFossen outdoor exercising! Running, cycling! This was my norm, I felt much more in my authenticity training this way. Much more light, & bouncy to match my adventurous mind. October 2020, I had switched to regular heavy weight training resulting in this now heavy, drained, and slow energy, which makes me feel so disconnected, but out of stubbornness to change my regime, I stuck to it. This information has motivated me entirely to make the switch. Thanks again Allie! Love your content!

Reevaluating, probably like 3rd or 4th time going thru my chakras. I believe I have little of each, balance, deficient and excessive. I think I need get outside more walking and create a evening routine regarding making dinner, with a little more resistance training.

Thanks Allie, I can see aspects of all three in my life, and there seems to be an oscillation between them. I have been working on myself using journalling as a starting point. I can see changes, the swings between excess and deficiency appear to be less frequent or obvious - mostly through activities/processes such as gardening, connecting with nature, mindfulness and gratitude. I haven’t returned to my mat after a shoulder injury but this will be soon I think, just not pushing it right now. I do appreciate this video and enjoy your relaxed approach. I’ve converted your markers from the video into check points in my journal and will use them to see how I’m tracking over a few weeks (without getting too much into my head again) 😊
Hearing it all simplified like this now, I am seeing how much I have been coming into balance... from both in excess and deficiency in different areas...💚 Staying with the root for a bit longer before I move up the chakra system again. Also as taken from your seasonal challenges, I have been showing up ‘perfectly imperfect’ 💚🙌(think I remembered it right? Its something like that 🤔🤣)

Excess root. Overweight. Fearful of humans. Childhood trauma from sexual abuse. I suffer currently from severe sciatic leg nerve problems waiting for doctor's appointment on December four hoping to get an MRI. I'm normally a holistic and yoga type but the severe pain I have experienced lately scared me very much into seeing the ER 3 times in a row. I'm taking herbs but also Prednisone and Gabapentin which are pharma drugs and those probably have side effects I hope they don't have serious long term side effects. I'm grateful that I found your channel on Google.

Currently working on the root chakra! More towards deficient, but have both sides. The acceptable challenges was the one I need the most as well as routines. What if you're working to heal a health condition? Does that slow the process of chakra healing?
My root chakra is deficient. I have a blog, but I've been neglecting it a bit. The consistency of blogging once a week is too much for some reason. Same with the languages I'm learning. Being autistic I spent a lot of time in my head. I'm going to cleanse my root chakra tonight, and in the next few days, I'm going to do one of your earth yoga classes.

If you asked me a year ago what aspect of the root chakra do I associate with, I'd say deficient. Right now I feel balanced.
