My wife always says "why do you always buy the bottled drinks its cheaper to buy fountain"? well i then showed her pictures of the ice makers i work on and she now buys bottled also lol.
Good tip. I Never thought about doing that. I Think the ice maker bacteria 🦠 keeps our immune system strong 💪. Keeps the old immune system on its toes ! Covid strong 💪💪💪 !!

That ice machine is just nasty, how can people let them get like that and not care. I own a restaurant I have a Brema ice machine and it works great and is a breeze to clean and sanitize. I also do all my own refrigeration work got my 608 a few years ago and started taking care of my own stuff simply because its more cost effective for me.
Good deal. Hope it’s done right. A third grader can get their epa 608. I bet you still do better than most refer guys still lol
@Mike you just said it, cost.Ice machines are time consuming which costs a lot to service.
@@Exile1213 608 is just a formality, if you can memorize dates you get a 608. It just makes it easier for me to buy refrigerant and parts at some of the supply houses.

I believe you know this all ready, but the Traulsen probes are the same green or blue, the color of the wires are just different. This is more for the noobs in ice machine repair, so you can use a green probe where the blue coil one is and visa versa, in a pinch. Also I think the ETC111 probe has the same resistance as the Traulsen's, but I'd have to double check that before saying it really is. We have a saying for the build-up in the ice machine at our company Dave, it's called "SHMEGMA"!!!! Good job Dave!

Those traulsen controls are way way over complicated I dump it all and get a dixell XR control in it one controller and easy probe replacement also $200 VS $2000 for the traulsen crap 😂😂

I sold almost everything off my van. Was going to go low inventory. But shortages has me restock the Gina. I’m full again. Lol

You can count on it moving off the van pretty quick.
I have a Rule - if I know I’m going to need it within 1 year. I Keep it stocked on the truck.
