I was actually at the WCW show in Boston that Conrad referenced. The main event was Sting vs. Hogan in a cage match. The show was kind of lame but the audience was really into it. Going back to SuperBrawl, I wonder if an alternative, fun ending could've been the following night on Nitro, Hogan faces Savage in the main event. Sting comes down, looking like he's going to help Savage, only to help Hogan and reveal he's joining the nWo, which was the plan all along. This prevents a Wolfpac angle and simply freshens the black and white with Sting as the new leader. This now leads to a long-term program which culminates in Sting eventually losing the title to either Goldberg or Bret Hart.

I thought this was about SuperBrawl, but since it's about WWE and the road to WrestleMania...Sami should have lost. He is NOT the guy who should have ended Romans dominance. He is a small, doughy, skinny-fat, homeless looking, phenomenal pro wrestler. He is not a big time heavyweight world beater who should dethrone the massive, dominant world champion. And for the record, I don't think Cody is either, but he's a better choice than Sami. This was ripe for WALTER and Imperium to go up against Roman and the Bloodline. But, let's just do the bare minimum and just make sure the one who knocks off one of the most dominant champions in history at least LOOKS like someone who could knock off the most dominant champion.

  • @KaNCeRmm4life
    @KaNCeRmm4life Рік тому

I'm around the 29 min mark, here's why the aren't separating the belts... Roman has the "record" so long as he has both.. they effed up and had him be universal champion this whole time not WWE, so by holding both belts they're able to retroactively put him on the list of longest reigning WWE champs.. but it's bs he is only universal champion that long, so if they split the belts now, he's only been WWE champ as long as it was unified.. if he loses both together he gets to keep his record and then they can split them after

In 1998 that was a very important year of wrestling, especially for the WWF that’s when they turn the tide of the war against WCW they had a white hot Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Mr. McMahon heel authority. Figure storyline going on which was entertaining, but that’s not why they beat WCW the true reason WCW failed is because by 1998. They didn’t know what to do storyline wise they didn’t want to make new stars. Goldberg was the big exception, other than that wrestlers like Sting Bret Hart Chris Benoit, and many others were not really given anything to do because of Hulk Hogans big ego and the NWO storyline entering its 3rd year people got tired of watching nitro. It’s not because the WWF was better. It’s because WCW was getting boring I was a teenager during this time and I watched both raw and nitro and I had the opportunity to see both since nitro came on 3 hours earlier than Monday night raw because I live in the West Coast so we got a chance to see nitro first and raw after

. Regarding the Tony and Ariel situation I'll say this much..
Tony provoked the entire situation, because even in their interview, the way he acted throughout the entire interview it was ridiculous.
He didn't just say no comment to the pay-per-view situation, he pretty much said that during the entire interview, with pretty much every subject, even the innocuous ones, completely wasting Ariel's time.
Now regarding Tony's comments regarding Ariel's WWE involvement, he is the chairman of that company,, that being Tony.
Given his position alone, and how he acted, I would hope Tony's on drugs, because that's the only way, that he could be given a possible free pass for that conduct, and I don't even think he should get any.
I'm just saying, that's the only way he could potentially be given one, and that's if he was a drug user...
I'll say this much, Ariel was defending himself, and if you're going to attack somebody, you leave yourself open, to getting attacked in return, that's just how it is...
Lastly, I'll say this, as I am a recovering addict myself...
You don't act as stupid as Tony Khan on social media, under the influence of a coffee bean.....
It may not be cocaine, but he's under the influence of something and it's not the Coffee bean.
Tony's multitude of ridiculous commentaries, and comments on social media that he's made the last year-and-a-half in particular, including these most recent examples, you can't blame that conduct on a coffee bean. Let's stop with that ridiculous notion, it's insulting to those of us with actual issues...
Again, you don't conduct yourself the way Tony has on social media for the last extended period of time, including this past weekend, because of coffee, you just don't.
It may not be cocaine, but it's clearly something....
To suggest otherwise, is both ridiculous, and insulting,to those of us with real issues...
The rest of us, we just can't blame our issues on caffeine, and neither should he....

Wow. When he said the bloodline story was the greatest, of course I scoffed but then I started thinking about the storylines I love, and bloodline isn't over yet, and it definitely has potential if it ends well. There are even a multitude of ways it could end and be successful because Eric is right about the layered essence and there are a few guys that could come out of this and be set up for the future. Eric is also dead on about the chase. Fans today act like losing a title match is a burial, but in the past some guys had multiple near wins in title matches and then when he finally won, it meant more. I know it's a different time but when I was a kid, guys were usually over a decade in before they even got prominent roles with a few exceptions. Hogan was almost awa champ a few times and was in his mid 30s when he won his first wwf title. Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin were tag wrestlers, then mid carders and by the time they reached main event status, it felt earned. Sami is hot right now, and i thought he could be a dark horse champ the minute he debuted on raw. I had heard of el generico and enjoyed his nxt work but I felt he had the kind of charisma to pull off that underdog feel. However, some of the best champions were able to keep the fans hot for them after losing their first few shots at the title. I hope Sami can do the same and if so. Win the rumble next year and lose at WrestleMania but that's okay because then I would have Kevin Owens turn on him between now and then but only after a long reunion and Sami wins the rumble again the next year and faces champ Kevin Owens at the next WrestleMania

@Nostalgia- Lol no, it's a cesspool of troon lovers, woketards and marks who got no clue about wrestling. The few people in there who got a clue, like Jupiter Jack Daniels, Ghost Lantern, Stephen 90 and Seafort i miss, because they know pro wrestling, they are true fans, great people, ghost lantern especially was a lot of fun to talk with about wrestling (mostly private) - all the rest? Fuck those clueless marks, who don't know anything about wrestling and especially that tranny (otherwise it would be sad that a 40 year old woman acts like that, especially with the name change and all, stuck in a 12 year old mind set i guess) Eastwood, what a pathetic excuse for a lowlife piece of garbage, a living advertisement for the importancy of birth control and condoms (and yes, you can post all that in the forum, have fun with it)
