honestly all i can think of that would be helpful is making health potions, and hoarding scrolls (since you can cast them without using precious spell slots). I bet you could spec gale or someone else into a potion-making wizard, which would come massively in handy
Yea! potion making is gonna be really important in this game. And wizards end up being super bad, since their spells only come back on long rest and it's actually better to cast spells from scrolls than to learn them. The plan is to respec Gale out of wizard, and have a hireling be a wisdom maxxed wizard just for potion making. Thanks for watching!
I'm curious if you have a spreadsheet of all the tips and constrictions for your playthrough. I recommend saving Auntie Ethel's well buff til after the Tiefling party/going to the creche so you can keep the health buff for longer. (there's also some buffs in her hut mixed in with her weird debuffs that should be helpful since some of the debuffs don't activate til a long rest.)
I don't have a spreadsheet, but maybe I should if I actually want to survive once I get into the harder stages of the game. I will have to look into the different Auntie Ethel buffs. Thanks for Watching!
