    The best salesmen aren’t the Andy’s and the Grant’s you see on UA-cam. The best ones are those that make the sales process not feel like a sales process. It’s so subtle the customer feels like they were in control the entire time.
    The high energy, high pressure does get deals. I’ve been there and done that but the experience and process is much more enjoyable for everyone involved when you allow the customer to walk themselves through the sales process.

    • @thomasfox7468
      @thomasfox7468 7 місяців тому +21

      You let the drivers run themselves through the process. Statistically, the other 3 main personality types can't make decisions without being pushed. This means your strategy only works on a small portion of the population.

    • @collinhiller6458
      @collinhiller6458 7 місяців тому

      @thomasfox7468 you can "push" without being this dude. You can make the experience enjoyable, relaxing, and seamless while gently pushing in the right places once you have the rapport to do so. Build value in the product and sell yourself/the dealership. If you slow down, build rapport, and actually shut up and listen, you open up way more avenues to a close. Price becomes less of an issue, and you'll actually find people the right product and hold your gross most times. Focus on the experience. If you need to do this shit to dance around questions, you're not a good salesperson, you're a swindler.
      I've done roughly 800k in top line sales for March (so far), I'm #3 in my company Canada wide for 2024. 4 of my last 5 deals have been full sticker, no negotiation, so I'd like to think I have an idea of what I'm doing. Guys like this are absolutely insufferable. I'd never buy a thing from him, and I'd never hire him. I've worked with guys like him and they drown.
      People tend to buy off of people they trust. They'll never trust you if they don't like you. Not many people like dealing with guys like this lol. He doesn't know what the word "referral" means lol.

      Yeah, that would make me hang up, as well as the long winded political answer he gave to essentially say he doesn’t know. Give me direct answers and I’m usually game. “I don’t know, but I’m sure we can figure something out” would be a better approach for someone needing directness. This might work on someone who doesn’t understand this tactic and is too nice to people.

      @royjones7831 as a salesman and sales trainer, I live by the best way to sell is not to sell at all. I will get to know my clients and make recommendations. The only "hard" selling I do is if I truly believe a client is making a bad decision and I will simply let them know, honestly.
      We are working with human beings, not targets to manipulate so we can put money in out pockets.

    Better yet, how much is the vehicle? Customer gets his own financing and so already knows his interest rate. Now he just plugs in these along with the term on a financial calculator and has his monthly payment amount. Vehicles price should be on the dealership's website anyway. Interent sales is use to this. Consumers have all the info they need nowadays. People buy vehicles sight unseen and never come in. They pay and have it delivered. No dicking around with lot salesman.

    Andy gets a lot of hate, but he’s really that dude. I’ve always been a pretty outgoing guy, but the tips shown in videos like these have taken me to the next level. Qualifying and closing customers is far easier than you think if you know what to say, and he’s giving you the keys in these videos. Great stuff man

    How about just asking for the customers expectations, if it’s too low you know that person is not a buyer, if it’s close then let me talk to my finance manger and give a realistic idea. If you don’t give me some expectation of a payment I ain’t showing up. If you get me close, get me in and upsell me I’ll probably take it if I like you.

    I’m gonna be real, I was a salesman for six years, then got into finance and was also a closer. These fancy lines don’t always work, and sometimes you just piss people off and they’ll either hang up on you or won’t budge unless you give an idea in a smooth way. I’ve had great success using my own method that is very similar to Andy, but also had my own touch and was greatly successful. That’s the goal.

    You have to believe in the product evan if you don't. You don't ever say you don't know isn't a sale. I can find out. Is only working in person. On the phone they want to hear the deal, or how much they can save. Make this happen regardless. Make friends with the clients is a sale, clients are family members treat them well.

    Basically hes just saying to reel them in and not care about the customer at all . Because at the end if the customer dosnt have perfect credit the payments will be so high . So the idea is to reel them in with false hopes and then stick it to them . Only way u getting away with low payments if you have bad credit is with a valueless car .

    I just recently went through the car buying experience (multiple dealerships). And the one that landed it for me was the one that gave me a hypothetical guarantee before I got there.
    I said if my trade in hits a certain criteria, can you guarantee such and such in return. "I won't drive 45 minutes away on a response of "if you come in we can negotiate." I need something SOLID before I even step foot into your dealership.

  • @powerbuilt

    Bro I seriously don’t understand what people want. You’re going to a dealership to buy it should be a mutual understanding that you’re gonna have to pay up some money if you wanna walk away in something you want otherwise there needs to be some compromise on your reality vs your expectations. Don’t think you’re gonna get the 2025 tundra trd pro for 200$ a month at 35000, cause it ain’t gonna happen. Maybe a tundra 2018 limited at 42000 at 347 a month is closer to your budget but don’t be expecting to get a 70-80000 dollar truck for a low payment and then haggling a dealer because you’re not making enough money to feed the dream. Show up prepared to buy or figure something out have a gameplan prior
