When people hear outwork they often think "more work". But outwork does not only mean more work, it is a combination of working more than others, working smarter than others and working harder than others. As some things require smart work, for example, training optimally for your sport. Some require hard work, for example, pushing hard in the gym. Some require more work, for example, technical training where the more of it you do the better you get. But in doing so you have to combine all the values of outwork to ensure you're training as efficiently as possible whilst not over exerting yourself so you can maintain the same intensity over the course of a week which is consistency which is a key aspect of outwork.

I met Mark Cuban in Texas, working out. He is a humble man, treated everyone with respect. He played basketball with the guys at the gym. I also met Mr. Wonderful the previous year I met Cuban. This year I started my Jewelry business. I have made 1000 dollars my first month. They have inspired me, Future Shark.

To me, being the type of person at your job who outworks everyone is a key indicator that you are one of those people who has what it takes to succeed on his or her own. If you are one of those people, you will work your job and on the side figure out how to increase your wealth outside of that. Self-motivation leads to success for sure. Never stop learning and reading and work harder on yourself than you do on your job, as Rohn says.

Love this!!! Such great advice, I guess it’s to work really hard on what your business with lots of self-care scheduled in, so that you don’t burn out, so include things like facials, massages, reward yourself, exercise, window shopping, shopping, eating healthy, get support etc to stay motivated and nourished, as it’s also about how you feel so if you are working super hard but you feel drained, cranky and stressed you won’t grow financially at all, but if you feel good while working hard (positive stress) you’ll easily soar and hit your business goals with ease and flow.

yeah i got told to “work smarter not harder” but sometimes hard work pays off. This advice was given by someone complaining that business wasnt going well but barely making an effort towards it- meanwhile I was trying the entire shift to make small sales instead of expecting one huge sale. Ultimately making a bunch of small sales added up and I probably made more than the person complaining about the business and claiming they will wait to make a big sale & to work smarter lol.

Working hard towards your goals is important, but just make sure there is an incentive, or some sort of recognition to do so. If you work for a large corporation and they don't appreciate, or give you a financial incentive. Then your hard work is without a reward and that's a sad spot to be in. If you have your own company, than you can give yourself the financial inventive. Plus, you have the accomplishment of building up your own business and maybe even providing a job for others.

The biggest problem in my life was that I was comfortable. I wasn't hungry, so there was no point in going after my dreams. But I felt like shit. Paralyzed by my fears and unable to take action. I knew I was a fraud.
Finally I had enough of this self-loathing bullshit. I decided to CREATE hunger for myself -
20 years old, I left home with a one-way ticket. When I arrived to Greece, this is what I did:
I donated ALL of my money.
Now, in a strange country where I knew no one, without a dime, and evidently without a plan.
I had effectively, for the first time in my life created DRIVE.
I have now been living in Greece without money for a month, I am now clear on my purpose in life and am smashing my way toward it every day. Tunnel vision, I AM GOING TO RISE FROM THE ASHES OF MY PREVIOUS LIFE
Thanks for reading, I hope you have a purpose-driven day.

Cuban hit the mark about college. You don’t have to be the finance, marketing, legal, operations, HR guru. You actually can’t. But you damn sure better be competent. If your Finance Director is trying to describe how your expenses are affecting your EBIT, or your Marketing Director is discussing ad spend efficiency how can you make big decisions if you don’t even understand what their talking about?
