26:23 real shit here. Love your stuff even though im not into the automotive industry. It feels one almost have to get insane to truly break free from ones old self. I feel if staying in same environment, or if your partner dont really promote or support your change, it gets harder. But its possible. Just have to be commited and stubborn on ones goals. One have to really believe in the change that its like one haven't even changed. The best way to get someone to get ina car and talk to them is to get on their side as someone that seems like there not trying to sell them a car. you try to find common features on the vehicle you think are better then other earlier models. Tell them a completely honest opinion of what youve had experience with " same make different years different packages and year colors and what options were available " talk some crap about other cars that are trash and get them to start laughing about the difference of what the "beauty that your looking at" and the crap that used to be availabe. It may be a different time but you can always tell someone hey i have the keys and theres a starbucks about a mile away can i buy you a cup of coffe cuz gee i could use one
Is it okay to ever ask the objection as question so we don’t get to that point? So you walk up, I introduce myself, we introduce, I proceed to ask, is there a certain vehicle that pulled you in today? Say you say no, okay then I ask, are we looking for ourselves, looking for our wife, or your kid. Would that ever be okay? Thanks
As a sales manager, asking if its the car, the sales person or the money is a must. They're not sold on the car, not sold on the money for the car or (every salesmanager knows bc we have this guy) wouldnt buy the last car on earth from that particualar sales person.
Everything is easy if you're smooth but the only thing that is out of your control is when the ups aka customer finds out their trade is upside down or that that're only going to get 2k for their car. They will take it in as an unsult and leave
That’s why the trade walk with the customer is important, pointing out those small details that the customer has acknowledged helps validate the appraisal when they realize it’s isn’t worth what they thought it was.
Does let me give you some number to think about it, is with running their credit? Or without running their credit. And how would you handle it inside when they want numbers to think about it with our running their credit..
My dealership starts with an average APR on the pencil, you should have an idea of where there credit is already, you work with them hopefully on the monthly payment and down payment and not price to the point they are satisfied as is the dealer and then pull credit. If they ask about APR “you don’t know because you haven’t earned the right to run their credit yet”
Nop! You can’t put pressure on your buyer! That makes you “salee” a smart buyer would tell to no, first is “listen” then create a solution! I wouldn’t buy something from a pressure point.
Ill be honest, if he was as good at selling cars as he proclaims to be, he wouldnt need to be teaching lectures to others. Truth of the matter is no matter how good he thinks he is the money made "teaching others" was better and or more consistent.
