The progression he accomplished in this one day would take me 3 months. Absolutely amazing.
I was about to say the exact same thing, glad i'm not the only one :D lol
Hands down the best teacher out there And the kids soaking it up like a sponge! Hats off to both of you

This mightve been one of the most beneficial videos to watch and learn from with everything being so exaggerated on the smaller bike
My buddy started riding last January and wanted to race just to see how he’d do. By August he was battling me in B class and I was smoking a a lot of A riders. Some people just are naturals
Monk? MONK? WHATTTAREYOUDOINGHERE!
Great job little guy and real good coaching aswell. Wishing you well at round 1 brother
Holy cow. Awesome job teaching, better job listening young man.
Thanks for sharing this. My 5 year old son just stepped up to a ktm 50 from a ttr and this will fire him up.
7:21 - So true!!
The kid is doing great and showed really good progress during the video and especially at the end.
I`m 36 years old and started riding dirt bikes couple of months ago. (Ridden street bikes before) I`m amazed how good these kids are at riding. Been watching AJ`s videos and i have to say, that these videos where he teaches kids are the most useful for me. I notice that most mistakes these young riders make, are the same mistakes i make! So for beginners that are "old" like me, these vids are perfect!
Was awesome watching the little guy progress and put everything together. Good luck this weekend AJ, make sure you are having fun!
Nice man after the push-ups the enty speed was awesome
This little guy is gonna be a superstar one day! And why is his 50 louder than my 125?!?! Lol!
lol
He outgrew that bike yesterday
That was amazing👌🏾🎉💯 " turn your head" and little buddy was awesome has the heart committed and sent it 👍🏾👍🏾
Man you are an amazing instructor. I even learned quite a bit off this one video. Seeing the amount of progression in that kid alone in one session was impressive.
From experience working with my kids, it's some hard work getting them to trust the body and feet position but once they get that nailed they really start to shine. Really good video and got some tips from it for my 6 year old who runs a 50 :)
So cool watching him progress and his speed actually increase throughout the video.
I like to see his progression. I am now 16 and riding a 125 and your lessens are so usefull for everyone. You're a great teacher. I'm from belgium but i want to ride just 1 time at your track with you as teacher and i will be riding so much better !
Great teacher and a great student. Awesome job guys.
Good coaching can go a real long way ,i was shocked he did the 20 push ups and he picked things up real quick ..
50,3-thousand!!! Well earned! Congrats! Keeping my fingers crossed for you during the racing-season.
Awesome job SK!!! Truly one of the greatest videos I've ever seen! Amazing progression in such a short period of time! Can't wait to see more videos of your progress. You truly have the greatest coach you could ever hope for! Welcome to the sport and keep having FUN!!!
SJ said thank you so much.
@@_sgj.2 You're very welcome SJ! And sorry I got your name wrong.
Will be showing this one to my son tonight. Awesome work and coaching. I have learned a ton from your instructional series. Please keep em coming.
This young man is talented :) Keep going dude !
AJ.. really like the young Riders Tips.. Really good tips for my son This past summer his 1st year..Ohio 💪💪💪💪
I just got my son a 2019 cobra 50. The thing is sick!!!! We are going to watch this video together. He love’s moto!!!!
My son said this was a good one. And we did some push-ups together. You should have seen his face when AJ said you need to be able to 20 push-ups!!! LolThank you AJ for posting these video’s.
Yes the bikes are a beast. Sj is only 7 and growing fast. The 2021 FWE was a little to small for him but he loves the wider 2019’s
Good job little dude. Cranking out 20 pushups. He’s a beast. He listens very well also. And I think he’s ready for a 65. He’s looking good. Good job Coach Cant. Luke 9:62
Wow his progression was incredible. Great video AJ.
Every time I watch one of your videos it makes me wanna go ride my bike !!thanks again ... can not wait to see you race some super cross, Good luck go have fun and kick some ass my man !
Great job Aj.....keep up the good job......congrats !!!!!!!
Great job little dude, he progressed very much throughout this video. Amazingly done coach!!
Good luck today AJ a main event finish would be awesome to see!
Spot on! Whoever can stay on the gas the longest and still make the corners 🙌📈
Sj is AMA 7 so he has 2 more years on the 50 this year and next year. He will be training on a 65 sometime this year to prepare him for next race season.
That's awesome, that kids going to get good, especially with aj :)
I was sooo pumped for him at the end lol 🤟🤟🤟
i once tried to coach an adult beginner friend of mine some basic riding technique and as soon as he started the bike he just forgot everything i just told him and did the same thing that he always done. i tried to keep everything simple and straight to the point and isolated sections of the track to simplify everything but nothing worked. children really learn quick and if they put their mind into something there is no limit to what they can achieve... so the moral of the story is to give your kids a chance to try everything you never know what will catch on....
Nice
AJ, have you thought about putting together like a set of pictures with proper rider position for different scenarios? I know there's always going to be different factors for each scenario but a few pictures plus examples would be very helpful too! Really appreciate your hard work in putting together these videos. They've helped my riding ability immensely.
Good for him that makes me happy !!
this vid is perfect for all riders
Good luck to ya today!!!!!
cool tutorial
Awesome work AJ!
Future machine is indeed!!
Was stoked to see you racing again
I've learned a lot from this video, your a great teacher
Lil dude learns fast
Hi from Finland! Imagine if one day you were able to give my 15 year old daughter some lessons. wow!!
Mega love sein kidds progress nice work 👊👊👍👍
Super teacher! This is strong and this is weak 👍. When you will come in italy I want to do a session with you remember!
Hell ya good job youngster, Night and day after those push ups!
Thanks for these bro, I know I’m learning!
13:46 Yep, ready for supercross
That was a great session. The bike is a bit small for him which makes for a great demo as u r either in the perfect stance or u r not. He did nail that right hander in the end 👍👍
Super instruction.
Got a sneak peek of Houston looks like it should be a good race!!
unfortunately he didn't place very well... Next race
Whether there will be a video of indoor or home training for intermediate or beginner riders. What exercises are squats, running, push-ups? How to build endurance?
It seems to me that many novice riders would be interested to hear and see it from you. Thanks for answer :)
I love it..
WE WANT MORE PRIVATE LESSONS!
Nice video👍
Love to see qualification for a main some time
Is this the "little man who almost killed himself" a few weeks back?
Yup
He was on it , big tank slap but held it well. He also look like he grown 3 inch.
I’m new to riding on something other then my yard and I’ve been trying to get better at squeezing the bike with my legs and my body position I try to squeeze the bike but I don’t get cuts like you have said I don’t wear knee braces but my pants are getting worn out on the side of my knee I think that is good but idk
The progression is so obvious in all your videos that’s the ticket!!
Will you be doing the Mx school again or is there a way to get my son in on some of this action with you! He races D6 Henrietta series
Its great
Wish I had a teacher.
Good pushups
I say this with respect. I hope he has had a real crash already. Because now his confidence is high and he is going fast and feeling invincible. Once he has a real crash, that fear may set in and set him way back. When I had my first crash it took me months to bounce back. But the longer you've been riding the quicker you can bounce back
Yep! The second day I worked with him he had a big crash! He handled it well
At the start you literally described everything about me but I’m on an 85 lol
65 here we come.
Aj Catanzaro is in a xbox game MX vs ATV Supercross Encore
Any chance you could come to Salt Lake and do a class?
For me it’s hard to lean back up if Im leaning to much in corner so I just gas it lol
I noticed at 3rd braking bump he is dropping elbow’s
Aj you ever come back up to mass/ct for individual training ?
surely moto trainers can appreciate the sound of e-bikes
Coach Cat. I meant. Luke 9:62
mans got slaughtered tonight
Stacked Class. There were so many factory guys and only so many positions.
@@richr161 yeah ik man it sucks, prob arm pump too tho
I mean I qualified 33rd or something then got 15th in lcq. That’s pretty damn good for someone who teaches full time then just shows up and races he best 450 riders in the world.
@@AjCatanzaro that's true, i couldve have done better 😂
@@AjCatanzaro Love your teaching and like many here, pulling for you every heat!
Tomahawk bumps make grown men cry
He needs a 65
...
Love how you keep saying to keep your feet on pegs around turns and Gary Bailey is outdated yet you can’t qualify for a main and the top guys keep out there legs out , even Bailey said you need to wake up, about that because it was a specific turn with rollers in it but that doesn’t mean every turn.. and it’s more of a ramp up a jump than a blip ????? Really “ if your a good rider you would wouldn’t call it that”.
Sometimes I can’t help but laugh at the level of stupidity in some comments
@@AjCatanzaro I like all your stuff besides that, sorry I was being a jerk, I hope you do well though, I shouldn’t be hating on anyone out there riding.
