I`m 36 years old and started riding dirt bikes couple of months ago. (Ridden street bikes before) I`m amazed how good these kids are at riding. Been watching AJ`s videos and i have to say, that these videos where he teaches kids are the most useful for me. I notice that most mistakes these young riders make, are the same mistakes i make! So for beginners that are "old" like me, these vids are perfect!

From experience working with my kids, it's some hard work getting them to trust the body and feet position but once they get that nailed they really start to shine. Really good video and got some tips from it for my 6 year old who runs a 50 :)

i once tried to coach an adult beginner friend of mine some basic riding technique and as soon as he started the bike he just forgot everything i just told him and did the same thing that he always done. i tried to keep everything simple and straight to the point and isolated sections of the track to simplify everything but nothing worked. children really learn quick and if they put their mind into something there is no limit to what they can achieve... so the moral of the story is to give your kids a chance to try everything you never know what will catch on....

AJ, have you thought about putting together like a set of pictures with proper rider position for different scenarios? I know there's always going to be different factors for each scenario but a few pictures plus examples would be very helpful too! Really appreciate your hard work in putting together these videos. They've helped my riding ability immensely.

I say this with respect. I hope he has had a real crash already. Because now his confidence is high and he is going fast and feeling invincible. Once he has a real crash, that fear may set in and set him way back. When I had my first crash it took me months to bounce back. But the longer you've been riding the quicker you can bounce back

Love how you keep saying to keep your feet on pegs around turns and Gary Bailey is outdated yet you can’t qualify for a main and the top guys keep out there legs out , even Bailey said you need to wake up, about that because it was a specific turn with rollers in it but that doesn’t mean every turn.. and it’s more of a ramp up a jump than a blip ?????
