I tried watching someone else do this technique and it was a snoozefest! I thought it would never be finished! I love your videos because you talk slow and explain as you go. . I will just watch you from now on.

Absolutly lovely tutorial. ❤️ Inspiring, informative and very pleasantly presented.
A tip about the glitter. If the sort you have is to course, put them thru a pepper grinder or any other device/item that can be used for grinding spices.
You might even get a additional effectby using a heater, it can cause some materials to morph

Beautiful backgrounds, I started watching your vid since I love the technique, then I noticed my name in your description box and see that you linked my video. Thank you so much for that I so do greatly appreciate the shout out. Definitely try the different techniques, you can get so much out of your gilding flakes. Use sticky embossing powder, or the flake glue so you can use your stamps, or create custom backgrounds with die cuts, they are so much fun! I did do an updated video with and have links to all the different techniques Ive done. Try them out :) Cant wait to see what else you create with your flakes.

Fantastic Idea using the Versamark on the back of the stencil, I will certainly be doing that.
You can also use the Green Scrubby side of dish wash sponges.
Thats what I use since I wore out my small sponges.

Stunning I just love this but I can't manage the flakes because of my eyesight I decorate everything including the dog and cat by mistake so I have been using the flat sheets gold, iridescent any colour that usually go in a laminator and they work beautifully if you run a stencil brush over it quite firmly the life off the stencil and the remaining foil will come off with the stencil. I would love to do it your way but for anyone who has difficulty this might be an alternative you could try. Thank you

Not sure how well it would turn out but I think bonding powder (sticky embossing powder) could be used with Versamark through the stencil instead of double sided tape then you wouldn't need the glitter. Also Flitterglu from Indigo Blu can be used with your stamps to stamp an image then cover with the gilding flakes. Thanks for your tutorials.
