I tried watching someone else do this technique and it was a snoozefest! I thought it would never be finished! I love your videos because you talk slow and explain as you go. . I will just watch you from now on.
As the rest of the watchers...I have tons of glitter and stencils and flakes! NOW, I have a reason to get them all out and give this a try. Thank you for your wonderful ideas. I love the embossing one for autumn. Really gorgeous! THANKS!
The most wonderful tutorial ever Ann you made my day I was having great difficulty removing the stencil from the card stock each time ending with torn card stock I gave up until I came across your video the versaMark was the answer I did as you suggested and it was brilliant thank you❤❤
I just gave this a try and oh my gosh.... it is gorgeous!! Thank you for the inspiration!! I am so excited to include this technique in my art journals. 🥰
Beautiful, absolutely, stunning, love it. Fantastic Idea using the Versamark on the back of the stencil, I will certainly be doing that. You can also use the Green Scrubby side of dish wash sponges. Thats what I use since I wore out my small sponges. Wow! those Aurora Flakes look amazing. 💖
Ann I can't wait to try this one, so beautiful! Need 2 sided paper first. I love all your ideas. Wish I could come up with something. Thanks again for sharing with us.❣️🥰
Beautiful backgrounds, I started watching your vid since I love the technique, then I noticed my name in your description box and see that you linked my video. Thank you so much for that I so do greatly appreciate the shout out. Definitely try the different techniques, you can get so much out of your gilding flakes. Use sticky embossing powder, or the flake glue so you can use your stamps, or create custom backgrounds with die cuts, they are so much fun! I did do an updated video with and have links to all the different techniques Ive done. Try them out :) Cant wait to see what else you create with your flakes.
Wow a great idea. I know you stated it is not your idea, but you are still sharing it with us, and the colors you used look so pretty and elegant!!! Thanks for the inspiration. Blessings
Thank you so much Ann, I really really enjoyed watching you creating those gorgeous and stunning panels with the gilding flakes. I didn’t see the card’s you made at the end though? 😢. Perhaps you can show them another time. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Absolutly lovely tutorial. ❤️ Inspiring, informative and very pleasantly presented. A tip about the glitter. If the sort you have is to course, put them thru a pepper grinder or any other device/item that can be used for grinding spices. You might even get a additional effectby using a heater, it can cause some materials to morph
Hi. Stunning, just stunning! Thank you for sharing this as I can foresee some really fancy Christmas cards being sent out to my friends and family this year.

I've never used my gilding flakes because I hadn't found any tutorials to pique my interest but I must say, I can't wait to finish moving house so I can start working out some of my own designs. You are a really good teacher. I actually stumbled on your page by accident but what a happy one! Following! X
So Beautiful, and it looked like it really did not take a long time to make. When you added the background to the embossing folder, it made it go to a whole new level of beauty. Thank You :) xx
I watched someone, way back when, who finished by spraying with hair spray to hold the glitter in place. I am definitely going to give this a go. Thank you. Bye 💁🏼♀️
Gorgeous, I love my building flakes, I think it was indigo blu when they first brought them out, I got them at the craft show in Birmingham. So I’ve had them a long time, and I have used them a lot, but still got loads left!
SOO pretty. I saw one tutorial from years back where the lady used a stamp on the backing then put the flakes on there. That embossing folder example though ... oh my :) I have some Gold flakes, will have to get the sheets of double sided tape though, I only have strips.
