THANKS!! for this tutorial using Gilding Flakes to this "newbie" user. Also the tips for storing them, as they went everywhere on my desk (due to static I'm guessing??) and I will put in a larger container as you suggested. Take care...
Thank you so much for watching!! I really hope it helped and gave you some tips! Gilding flakes are definitely easier to manage in a bigger container. 🤩 happy crafting 😍

Great video Laura. I have the ranger sticky embossing powder, but struggle to get a good foil. I really need to try some tacky glue I have in my drawer. TFS ❤
You're very welcome. I really hope it helps you have more success using gilding flakes and foils. I highly recommend the Indigoblu Flitterglu. It has excellent reviews on their website and I find it so easy to use. I really think having a good quality tacky glue makes all the difference.

Hi Laura. Thanks for sharing. I am still trying. Does not look as good as yours. Since I have the Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo, can I use that with gilding flakes? Thanks.
Hey! Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave me a comment. I think the deco foil transfer gel duo requires a laminator and heat. You could try a small bit and some foil just to check in case I'm wrong. The Crafters Workshop Tacky When Dry Gel Medium or the Indigoblu Flitterglu are both tacky glues. So when they're dry they stay tacky and then that is what the foil or flakes stick to. Let me know if I can help further. ☺️
That's a great question and something I haven't tried! I will give it a go tomorrow and let you know. I don't see why it wouldn't work as you'd just apply the paste to the sponge in the same way. But I'll give it a try and let you know!
Very helpful!! I like that you show so many different ways to use these products!! I need to get my supplies out and give it try!!

Can the paste you used with the stencil be used with the clear stamps? 💕

So I've tried it and yes it can! Here's a short showing how:
