Thank you , so much for this video . My husband just brought in @ least 20 beautiful Butternut Squash from our garden . I just put 2 of them in the oven , using your suggestions . We will be brushing them with pure Maple Syrup that my son tapped from Maple trees himself , & will sprinkle them with cinnamon .

In the hollow where you spooned out the seeds I put onion or even half of a small apple.

    Nice recipe!
Could you include metric measurements? (In post editing/description is fine)
Saves me/us non imperial people a step to get the right amounts. Especially with fluids it can differentiate a lot.
Don't feel forced to do this. Only if you can ;)

Great suggestion - I can't promise every time, but I will certainly keep it in mind. I'm actually Canadian & we use both imperial & metric, just depends on where the recipe came from. I think people here in North America are still more comfortable using imperial - not very many places use these measurements at all. lol Thanks for stopping by to watch the show, Yow! Have yourself a marvelous weekend! Kimberly

Good day Kimberly! Thank you so much for giving us the time and temperature for roasting the squash. I’m going to be adding garlic, onion, and acorn squash to the butternut to roast for a bisque this afternoon. I love the idea of cayenne pepper just a little bit of hidden flavor. Will also be using nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, pepper, little bit of basil, and turmeric. Have a great day I’m looking forward to this! Peace
