I don't really like SUVs with a few exceptions, the Cayenne or DBX for example. However I have to say that these land yachts have a certain appeal. The Lincoln has good seats. Thats it! The Interior styling and infotainment goes to the Grand Wagoneer… The best ride goes to the Cadillac. Let’s face it, all the designers should join together and create a sub-six figure vehicle for the masses….thanks guys. Good video.
I agree with Thomas. Driver: Escalade all day long. Passenger: Grand Wagoneer. It's sad to see Navigator falling so far behind. Another great video, guys. Thanks for always producing the highest quality reviews on the internet.
I wouldn’t consider the Navi “falling so far behind” especially considering it’s the oldest of the 3 and not too long ago it bested the prior Escalade model.
At first I was really impressed by the grand wagoneer’s interior, but I have to say now that I’ve seen it more the Escalade is my favorite. The jeep just doesn’t look as streamlined as the Escalade.
Streamline, I don't think you could put any of these in the streamline class. but for me the Grand Wagoneer is the winner, just love that interior and this is the place you will send most of your time, not standing outside looking at it.
@@commonsense-grs Exactly. The Wagoneer was the clear winner. Especially in the interior department. Doug DeMuro thought that the Wagoneer drove the best and felt smaller. Despite being longer than the Escalade. The Wagoneer has climate control in the 3rd row that actually works. Air flow and vent placement is far superior.
@@Jimmyxsx Well it is a luxury vehicle. Being menacing isn't really necessary. I'm also not hating the Escalade. The Waggoneer is just nicer on the inside lol.

You won't find that anywhere else on the internet which is why Throttle House rules! Well done!
Give me the Escalade with the Wagoneers back seats and I would want for nothing more. The Navi just got a refresh - it's unfortunate they didn't get one it would've put up a better fight.
Its funny looking back at Throttle House’s impetus and seeing how much of a presenter James has grown into. He’s so good now. And of course Thomas was always a skilled and charismatic host as well. Even for cars so opposite of my taste I just enjoy watching
The Wagoneer has an amazing interior, no doubt about that. But the exterior design just could’ve been so much better had they fixed the rear end issue. And $100K for a Jeep is a definitely a bit much.
Thankyou Thomas & James. Fantastic review, its a joy watching you two. The caddy is great to drive, tech in jeep is really cool. But I agree on your choices. My trx gets 8 mpg and since it sits more than gets used its ok. Keep up the great work i love watching. Cheers guys..
I’ve owned two Escalades now (used obviously) and I’ve always called them trucks. People seem to agree with me I mean they’re body on frame, big engine, heavy things. Also I personally don’t like the full black-out look, but that one looks great.
I'd take the Navi,in it's new refresh over all 3 of these. Though I love tech and screens, the Wagoner seems like a little much. Though I'd have to see it in person to truly know. The Caddy's seat pattern is ugly to me,the tech is pretty good though. The Navi is just more elegant and clean looking. Plus the technology is improved in it's new refresh. In the version in this video it's a little behind, but still does a good job holding it's own.
that navigator is a reserve with a monochrome package (includes the front grill in the color of the car and the wheels in black) but for being a reserve you have the panoramic roof and lincoln copilot 1.5 (360 camera, front and rear parking sensors, in addition to all other features) you can order it with rear seat tv and in 2023 includes rear seat massage etc. and in the suspension you have adaptive suspension if you take it with the package that comes with it and it is much better than the jeep and the cadillac!
In my opinion, this channel is better than TheStraightPipes The reason is that: this feels more free expressions on what they want to say, whereas the other channel is like full on script with not a lot of humour Not a hate on that channel
These are all very interesting, but I would love to see a manufacturer break and build a full size rear wheel drive four door sedan. Like the Lincoln town car of Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.
I agree, just a nice comfy large sedan. Maybe add a little muscle car like the Escalade has and make it closer to a 60’s sedan. Also I am just waiting for a company to make a 4 door hard top vehicle. I would love it they where sucisude doors too.
Im all about Interior, thats why Wagoneer always been on my list. And i knownits no important to some people but i LOVE they gave the 3rd row its own Moon Roof. Im going with Wagoneer
This is the best car channel on UA-cam. With all due respect to others, I feel like they're the only ones that are willing to criticize and be honest. Which should be standard, but so many reviews nowadays just feel like sponsored "reviews." And they keep the entertainment that people want. In short, they're the best. Period.
The drive train and exterior styling of the Escalade are superior to the Lincoln and Jeep, IMO. The interior of the Escalade definitely comes in last of the three. It's pretty bad, really. Cheap even. The Grand Wagoneer is downright ugly on the outside, especially for the price they're asking, but the interior might be the best of the three, maybe just edging out the Lincoln. I dunno. It's close. I think if you put the Grand Wagoneer's interior in an Escalade you might have the perfect SUV. As it stands, it feels like you're being made to settle in each of the three cases, which is ridiculous when you're talking about the amount of money they want for these things. The Escalade looks great from the outside and has a great drive train, but the interior sucks. It does. The Lincoln looks classy on the outside and has a great interior (not fantastic, but really, really good), but the drive train sucks. The Grand Wagoneer is a Jeep...uh, is ugly on the outside, has an okay drive train, and a really nice interior. For this amount of money, you shouldn't have to settle. In light of that, none of them are good enough.
Impressed by the Jeeps design because while they it is the heaviest by far, ehen they are all lined up, it looks signicantly smaller. Good designers are essentially illusionists.

I can definitely tell the Escalade comes in first place. Its exterior styling has a beautiful combination of European contemporary, American muscle, sportiness, and retro. The interior is a beautiful combination of European contemporary, American luxury, American muscle, German performance, tech, and practicality. The Navigator is in need for a refresh in and out. Its exterior looks outdated and simple. Its interior needs updates with tech and design. It needs a better chassis for ride quality. The biggest downside of the Grand Wagoneer is its gas mileage. But it has a modern exterior design with the looks of a true SUV, along with practicality, sportiness, and mid-level contemporary. The interior is way ahead of the Navigator, but not as practical and contemporary as the Escalade. Instead of a sporty European contemporary interior with German style like the Escalade, the interior's styling has a combination of classic American luxury and modern European luxury with British style, like a Range Rover, Rolls-Royce, or Bentley. The crazy tech in the Grand Wagoneer would make it a very good fleet vehicle for limo companies, government, and CEOs.

The combination of actual information and true pureness from both of them makes this my favorite car channel ever. Hilarious n factual👏🏼👏🏼😁
You both do a fantastic job with the comedy/review balance. There are always great comments on your videos, but I am happy to leave mine on this one. Keep up the great work.
I think the Lincoln definetley looks the best from the outside, and while the drive is nice in the caddy I think the interior of the wagoner just gives it the win
Hope it's as dependable to ya😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. In my opinion they are pieces of shit. You'll find out on your own. Wishing you the best.
I mean McIntosh has an absolutely iconic design philosophy and they are legends in their space why would they change the logo they have used since the late 40's?
I don't really like SUVs with a few exceptions, the Cayenne or DBX for example. However I have to say that these land yachts have a certain appeal. I personally think the Escalade is the most impressive though, inside and out. It looks like a skyscraper on wheels, something that casts a shadow over a Honda civic when it pulls up behind.
Exactly. There is absolutely no reason for a car to be that big. But i so want an Escalade.
Cause it just dwarves everything
@@milosilic23 yup, they just have presence. I think an Escalade has much more presence than a Cullinan or Benteyga. Equally as imposing as an GLS Maybach or GLS 63s.
I'm always happy when I see an Escalade here in germany because they're super rare here and stick out from the usual cars here ^^
@@DefinitelyNotEmma definitely doesn’t have more presence than the Rolls Royce suv, have you seen one in person. Plus I see a million Escalades a day it’s rare to see a Rolls
@@Carfan678 actually yes. The Cullinan looks very similar to an X7 from a far. When you get closer you realize it's an RR however it's not as imposing as a big American SUV. It's a good looking car, especially the matt silver one I saw, however it's really not as flashy or attention grabbing as you might think.
@@DefinitelyNotEmma I’m just gonna have to disagree with u because I have seen both I can tell them apart very easily
The Lincoln has good seats. Thats it! The Interior styling and infotainment goes to the Grand Wagoneer… The best ride goes to the Cadillac. Let’s face it, all the designers should join together and create a sub-six figure vehicle for the masses….thanks guys. Good video.
Excursion?
Grand wagoneer with Escalade driving and better mpg would be beautiful
You both are so awesome together. I find my self laughing way too much for a car review. I love this channel
As a European visiting USA every year, there is only one king, ESCALADE in black colour.
It calls attention, looks like "go out of my way"
22:50 Thomas looking out for James - nice gesture. These guys are bros.
you guys are the best car reviewer on youtube. very entertaining to watch
I think they and Mat Watson from carwow are the best.
I love these guys. Very serious, detailed with yet extremely witty humor to keep us on our toes.
The revised 2022 Navigator interior is DEFINITELY a step up from that one.
Escalade is a 2 year wait. In fact some dealers are not even booking it.
Ordered mine 6 months ago and just got it. 4wd, Sport platinum, onyx package, super cruise
@@mayramendoza1868 Sorry Mayra, I should qualify my statement. I am Canadian 🇨🇦
Honestly after seeing this. The Escalade has me sold! Wagoneer is a close second and the navigator really needs that update.
Navigator update is dropping as we speak, it would've put up a better fight but still would've lost, but still has those amazing front seats.
@@Brian-jv8iy does that mean people won’t flash me for “leaving my high beams on” in a 22 vs my 19? Lol
The quips and culture references were off the meter this episode. Hilarious!
@@commonsense-grs Agreed
@@commonsense-grs Exactly. The Wagoneer was the clear winner. Especially in the interior department. Doug DeMuro thought that the Wagoneer drove the best and felt smaller. Despite being longer than the Escalade. The Wagoneer has climate control in the 3rd row that actually works. Air flow and vent placement is far superior.
@@PyroBlonde7777 the escalade looks more menacing straight up badass. The waggoneer looks like an old man suv😂😂
@@Jimmyxsx Well it is a luxury vehicle. Being menacing isn't really necessary. I'm also not hating the Escalade. The Waggoneer is just nicer on the inside lol.
The Lincoln is the best looking inside.
For real though, every McIntosh sound system is amazing.
This channel and the Car Trek show are satiating my need for og Top Gear, good shit boys

Stunning! ....as always. Throttle House continues to deliver. Professionally shot and informative, all delivered with just the right amount of humour! We learn, we laugh and the boys are not hard to look at! The cherry on top is that the pricing is in Canadian!!! It's so refreshing to see an American price as a subtitle. You won't find that anywhere else on the internet which is why Throttle House rules! Well done!
You guys are SO good. Great work and keep up the content.
the intro nailed it
Give me the Escalade with the Wagoneers back seats and I would want for nothing more. The Navi just got a refresh - it's unfortunate they didn't get one it would've put up a better fight.
I would take the escalade, but with the wagoneers rear seats and interior but the front seats out of the Lincoln
The more competitive vehicle in lincoln lineup is the aviator
@@RasmusandPiper basically the girl version to the navigator

Its funny looking back at Throttle House’s impetus and seeing how much of a presenter James has grown into. He’s so good now. And of course Thomas was always a skilled and charismatic host as well. Even for cars so opposite of my taste I just enjoy watching
Agree 100%! These guys have gotten much better and are very enjoyable to watch
Ouch! That helmet tink always gets me!! Thx guys!
As an owner of the 2020 Lincoln … I hate the road noise at highway speeds. It’s not as quiet at my old Yukon .. wish I waited for the new Escalade.
The Wagoneer has an amazing interior, no doubt about that. But the exterior design just could’ve been so much better had they fixed the rear end issue. And $100K for a Jeep is a definitely a bit much.
Great SUVs.
My favourite Thomas& James.
Escalade all the way up I really love Cadillac can't wait to operate mine.
I’ve been inside of a fully loaded Grand Wagoneer… and it’s simply put, my jam!
I’ve owned two Escalades now (used obviously) and I’ve always called them trucks. People seem to agree with me I mean they’re body on frame, big engine, heavy things. Also I personally don’t like the full black-out look, but that one looks great.
Escalade + Jeep interior + Navigator seats = perfection
If KITT was a nearly 4 ton SUV it would be that blacked out Escalade. Good lord thats a badass truck.
We are talking KiTT..he was loaded with tech!!! The JGW has the Escalade beat hands down in that department
In my opinion, this channel is better than TheStraightPipes
The reason is that:
this feels more free expressions on what they want to say, whereas the other channel is like full on script with not a lot of humour
Not a hate on that channel
Loving this review guys! You kept me laughing and I always enjoy it. Great reviews and entertainment rolled in one!!

This is the best car channel on UA-cam. With all due respect to others, I feel like they're the only ones that are willing to criticize and be honest.
Which should be standard, but so many reviews nowadays just feel like sponsored "reviews."
And they keep the entertainment that people want. In short, they're the best. Period.
Well, the new escalade is my favorite new SUV
I just bought a low mileage previous generation Edcalade and have extreme envy of the new ones.
I could watch these guys all day 😂🤞🏽 best car reviews ever 🤞🏽❤️
TH production quality is leaps and bounds above the Straight Pipes
Why do people compare the two all the time, I've seen comments like yours for quite some time now o.O
@@DefinitelyNotEmma Probably cause they're the 2 most successful Canadian automotive channels.
@@ultraguy8771 hmm, I guess. I always forget that they're from Canada and not the US lol

I would die 19 times over before even considering buying one of these SUVs, still watched for the boys
But the Escalade looks pretty sick.
@@daniedeklerk1914 How? Its a big blocky box, with bus lightning style, gigantic panel gaps and an overall 80s rapper style... The Cadillac just looks too damn good.
I agree completely.
I never really liked the back of the grand wagoner, but I can never unsee the canal boat now!
Best car channel out there love the content and the humor. Can’t wait until you guys get the Rivian SUV to test- that will blow these out of the water
Not really it's a decent suv but it fits the role of just basic.
Oh boy more plastic cars from cardboard companies that won't exist in five years.
@@RAZGR1Z actually if you look at the trend at least in the US all manufacturers are moving towards electric and in next few years.
@@alexwelch1520 He never mentioned electric. We know the Escalade will release an EV in the next 3-4 years with up to a 200kWh battery.
@@Tyrael112 they're going to have to figure out their batteries first. The Bolts are on recall to the tune of a billion dollars worth of replacement packs, and they don't have an answer yet.
As a Model X owner, I'd be super excited about an electric Escalade, but I think it's going to be a lot longer than 2-3 years given the current recall. That said, I can't imagine what an Escalade doing 0-60 in under 3 seconds would be like....
