I think the exterior of the Escalade is stunningly beautiful. The Lincoln to me has the edge in the interior and for that reason I have to go with the Navigreator.
Both are a work of art, but would take the Navigator. I think the rear storage space is sufficient for my mother in law. Love your reviews. Just subscribed .
I'd go with the Caddy. But the Navigator looks very stately and elegant close up, especially the front end. And the 2nd row console is a REALLY nice touch.
Excellent and very exact info on both. Having Caddys previously and currently switched to Navis we have never looked back. Navis care and customer service have well exceeded GM offerings. Lincoln KNOWS you are somebody when you purchase this level and they make sure to deliver on their word. Again very good video and you both nailed it.
Escalade is something I would expect from a rapper, American football player, drug dealer, something like that. Lincoln is more classy, focused on the driver, not to show off..
@KEENMATE depends where you live. I live in one of the wealthiest areas in the country and I see a ton of both navigator and Cadillac. I see all rich white families driving both. But I do get your point because you never see everyone you named driving the Lincoln over Cadillac.
@@AkronKid330 and the styling is more gentle with Lincoln and more agressive with Cadillac. For us, Czechs, both of these cars are monstrously huge, you would have big problems to park it here, or even drive it, still, to get a Lincoln is a target of mine. It's simply superb, there are no cars like that here. German luxury brands focus on sporty look and feel.

You nailed it perfect description for the intended audience for both vehicles. Old world luxury vs New world luxury. Cadillac has always been about new luxury Lincoln has always been about established luxury
Great review! My wife and I were in the market for a large suv and took a look at the Escalade, Navigator and Yukon. We felt the Escalade was younger looking and aggressive and decided to place an order for the 2023 model. Hoping we’ll have it by February 😊 Keep up reviews coming!
I ordered the super cruise which was around $2500. Unfortunately when the car arrived, there was no supercruise. I asked my sales rep why it would come built without it, and he mentioned they were low on chips so the skipped it for my build. Unfortunate but not a complete loss.
As a mechanical engineering project manager, I wanted to see a comparison of the diesel options, but we can compare gas models. I will break down design, performance, MPG and overall driving experience. My friend is a manger, I get to test drive these SUV's for 6 months and write a 20-page report, including foreign models I will summarize the 2o page report in about a page or two max. . We will discuss price, performance, and MPG. As far as performance goes, HP and towing, they are pretty even. As far as design goes, I love Cadillac's grill and exterior but that does not mean Lincoln's exterior and grill is horrible. The interior winner goes to the Navigator. The information system set up goes to the Escalade, but overall Navigator's black label's interior is nicer than Escalade's platinum. The primeur leather seats and luxury rival that of a Benz. Based on MPG estimate the gas on the Escalade is about 14-19 MPG or 17 combined, you get better MPG with the Navigator, and it saves you about $850 a year on the pump. I wrote that in the report for those who care about MPG. I think the Navigator gets about a mile more per gallon. Towing they are dead even 8500 lbs. The stop and go action on the Navigator is better but the Escalade has better breaks. The x factor is the price. I think the base Navigator new is about $10,000 less than the base model. The difference between the Platinum Escalade and Black label Navigator is $3000. If you do the 4 years 50% trick the black label Navigator is $100,000 out the door, my guess is the entry level about 78,000. We won't even go over the V series model; you are talking $150,000. That means you should be able to get a good used one for about $50,000 at 60,000 miles. THIS Is why you want Diessel not only you get better MPG, but you can also get it used and at half price. Most people can't afford $100,000 but we can swing $50,000. With taxes and out the door, you are talking $55,000 for the top end model. \ The other x factors are I like the information system of the Escalade, but the interior of the Navigator is really pure luxury, something that rivals a Merced's. You sacrifice some HP going to diesel. I believe the Lincoln has SLIGHTLY more HP 450 vs 420 on the base models, which is only 30 HP difference. IN 2022 Cadillac and Lincoln had a refresh and the Diessel options so I would suggest wait until 2026. You can get a 2022 Black label out the door with tax and registration for probably about $55,000 With the Platinum Escalade, you are looking at closer to 60,000 used. As for ESV and the L version for Lincoln, I only recommend it for LARGE FAMILIES. If you have Mom, Dad, the kids, and grandparents, go with the ESV OR L. if it is less than 5 people get the smaller version because it is more maneuverable. You also might run into street parking problems, you might not aways have handicap parking on the streets. Also, you get about a mile per gallon less on the bigger version which adds up. You are losing about 20 miles per tank. Keep in mind if you want to park it in the garage, the ESV or L will fit in a standard garage, but it will be a tight squeeze. Youa re talking 210 feet vs 214 feet, for a standard garage, you can notice the difference. I say go with the regular Lincoln Navigator Black Label 4 years old, and enjoy it for 10 years if you wish because it is diesel, then you can get another one. My guess is the Diessel variants will give you 15-17 city and 21-23 highway. This is why I always recommend DIESSE friends. You can't go wrong with either one and they are both on EDMUNDS top 5 list. I think the Navigator is at #2, only behind the Mercedes but ahead of the BMW X& Final verdict, get the diesel version of the regular sized black label Navigator and enjoy.
I personally drive the Yukon Denali, but I feel like you guys left out some important options on the Escalade that could sway people. Super cruise, the self driving feature for highways is rated above teslas autonomous driving and is amazing. Also, the Escalade has an optional diesel engine that gets fantastic mileage. But, to each their own, both are works of art
I love the exterior of the escalade but the interior of the navigator is on another level, except for the fact it doesn't have that rear view mirror camera, nor does it have night vision. The speaker system on the Cadillac does have more speakers but the navigators sound system is just as good. God these suv's have me indecisive. Their both so good. imo, the escalade is for those who want a bigger road presence and wanna show off a bit more. on the other hand the navigator is much much better in terms of comfort, but doesn't have that same presence on the road. SO its about preference in the end. Do you wanna show off and have a decent amount of comfort OR wanna have a decent presence on the road but have amazing comfort.
Absolutely nailed these reviews. I really appreciate the descriptors and no they do not show prejudice each have their points. How does one describe differences and nuances? Very cool features for those who can purchase cause nowadays nobody can afford.
Not like I could afford either one lol. I'll keep watching though something to aspire to I guess. Plus I love this channel and want you to get my view.
All Lincoln SUVs look exactly the same inside i swear the littlest to the navigator it basically all depends on the room you need i say this because maybe your budget could get the smaller lincoln suv where its the same inside interior wise
I pick up my Navigator this Saturday, and to say my anticipation is high would be an understatement. Reserve 1 Model 4x4 black on black with the luxury and illumination package. I did consider getting both the Navigator or Escalade, but ultimately decided to purchase a Lincoln. Certain features are better on certain vehicles, but Chevy and GM are really trying to screw over their customers by allowing the dealerships to charge well over the sticker prices, and the more expensive package that you order the more they overcharge you. They are a bunch of crooks.
Big time overcharge on MSRP in Phoenix area. $5-10 or $20k over, no discussion. Lincoln goes by MSRP. The No dickering. But they will get you on your trade in and make it up THERE. We decided to save money now and buy luxury we know and trust. Sequoia is sneaking up and a good option but rear seats fail to lower reducing the carload area space. @@paulis4278 No. It does not. I test drove the Escalade, and thought it was a cool feature, but honestly not something I’d use over looking through the front windshield. It’s something extra, but not necessary for me. Both are awesome vehicle, but honestly I am happy with Navigator.
Nope. My first question step in into dealership is do you do market adjustment price. The first answer is either yes or price negotiable. I just turn around. Not worth my time in there.
You'll still pay due to the Lincoln's vastly inferior resale/trade-in. You just don't have to pay it up front, though you are still saddled with a weak, noisy V6.
I was on the fence for months between these two SUVs until I drove them. I was leaning toward the cadillac until I drove them. The Cadillac definitely handled better but the Lincoln constantly reminds you that you're in a top luxury competitive Vehicle. It feels and looks expensive. That feeling faded very quick in the Cadillac. I love driving my Navigator and honestly I enjoy not seeing thousands of trucks that look just like mine. Cadillac is definitely more popular and here in Cali they're as common a Camry or Corolla.
I’m telling you, the massive screen in the Cadillac hides the other compromises in its interior. Just take a glimpse of ANYTHING else apart from the screen and you’ll see why Lincoln is still better.
@@rhydynamic8306 This is absolutely hilarious. The interior of the Escalade is absolutely gorgeous and you’re wrapped in the finest leathers and materials money can buy. It’s obvious when Ford fans get on UA-cam and sell a dream that never translates to real world sales. Because if the Lincoln was truly this much better than the Cadillac Escalade, sales would reflect that as anyone that can afford a Escalade can easily have a Navigator instead. Y’all are full of it, and y’all still trying to downplay the Escalade’s UX and 38-inch OLED display. 🤷🏾♂️
@@mybro727 The only thing that sells Escalades are the bold exterior design and the name recognition with in-your-face wealth. Add a fancy screen and the loyal GM buyers will totally over look other aspects of inferiority. Like the fact you can bolt on Escalade tail lights on a Tahoe and they line up perfect... Same shit product as the value brand.
@@DocRickJr Anyone with functioning eyes can distinguish the difference between those cheap faux Escalade taillights and the real thing. No, the intricate attention to detail found both on the exterior and interior of a Cadillac Escalade is what sells them. Ford simply cannot compete because if they could they simply would be. You can save all the excuses about loyal GM buyers, especially when Ford literally makes commercials bragging about the loyalty of their customers. Absolutely hilarious. GM is laughing😂
I do wish the Navigator had the Escalade's night vision feature, which is also excellent when it is very foggy out, and of course, to see Big Foot better.
I regret you guys did not have the extended versions. Having driven Ford Expedition Max on a 4K mile trip, I don't understand why one would buy regular over extended. Just as easy to park and drive if you exercise some common sense, and the cargo space difference behind the third row is significant. BTW, I also find Ford (Lincoln) more comfortable, and the steering more precise. GM I found more "boaty".
I agree. I have a long wheelbase Expedition because I tow, but the lack of space behind the 3rd row on standard wheelbase is a non starter for someone that actually needs a 3rd row.
@@williamthomas2845 You missed the point. I was talking about the extended version. Nothing to do with any atmosphere. And yes, they do make Navigator L.
The Caddy looks better by a long shot imo. Both interiors are very luxurious but very different and you explained exactly my thoughts on them. New money vs old money. With that said, I'd choose the Caddy. Just wish they would have used the discontinued Blackwing engine in it though.
Nice review. But the Navigator has a huge advantage over the Cadillac. The Lincoln's 30 way front seats are far superior over the Cadillac's. The front seats were the deciding factor for us.
@@KizaWittakerNot exactly. It comes down to preference. I think if you were driving a celebrity definitely Cadillac would be more ideal but Lincoln also has its pros.
I live on Lake Superior and the Navigator's aluminum body offers me the huge benefit of not rusting to hell in all of the road salt that is used in the north country. Since I don't drive all that many miles I keep vehicles a long time and that gives the Navigator a big advantage over years of road salt.
Nice review slick! I have both models with a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ and a Ford F150 Platinum truck. I like both vehicles because of the gasoline options and don't want the premium engines on the GM models due to the issues. If I had the money, I would probably go with the Lincoln Navigator.
The L version of the Navigator has 36³ of cargo space. The Reserve is the mid trim version. I drive a 2023 Navigator L Black Label which is their top of the line trim. I also drive a 2023 Escalade and do like the conversation enhancement function.
Great review. I had been considering this very Cadillac Escalade Sport Platinum, but that Navigator looks great, and for living in the high altitude hilly mountains its twin turbo might have some advantages over the naturally aspirated Escalade. I do wish the Navigator had the Escalade's night vision feature, which is also excellent when it is very foggy out, and of course, to see Big Foot better. Just saying. Lastly, do you know what the minimum road clearance is on the Navigator? I really like the adjustable air suspension of the Escalade, giving an extra inch or two depending on what you option. Though I did learn that the Cadillac's adjustable air suspension is really just for slower speeds because apparently when you get up towards high way speeds it automatically drops back down, good perhaps for fuel mileage a tad, but on snow stormy trips as in ski country I'd rather have the extra road clearance remain even at higher speeds. Oh well. Both look great though, maybe I'd give the exterior look nod to the Caddy, and the interior look nod to the Navi. Thumbs up as always to another great review guys.
Putting in an order for a standard navigator in July. I’d probably prefer the caddy, but i refuse to pay over MSRP for anything. I found a ford Lincoln dealer that will order me a navigator for MSRP, and I know they are being truthful because I bought a f150 from them a few months ago, and they actually came off MSRP a few grand!
The hubs and I just bought a Navigator Reserve a week ago. Silver exterior, black interior.🥰 It has most of the bells & whistles…..no cup cooler/heater.☹️😂 So far we’re loving it! So….which SUV is mechanically sounder?🤷🏼♀️

The Lincoln is nice but for some reason it always looked like it was a generation behind the Cadillac. That was true initially, and its still true today. On the bright side, Ford definitely has the warmer interior and creature comforts of the two. I prefer lighter interior (no kids), so its always good to have more color choices than fewer.

Love this father and son combo. "Can you frighten them" dad asks about speaker talk to the the back rows for the kids, (knowing full well his son probably can't). It's so illustrative of parenting (changes/evolution?) that son probably can't and the dad reminds him (in his own way) that it might be helpful to have a voice that gets their attention - once in a while. My father would have said the same thing to me, and I would have answered as the Truck King did "of course I can" knowing full well I often can't. Fathers and sons, and the next gen of fathers with their sons. There isn't a true handbook on parenting, and kids don't realize they're parents are doing things for the first time and often don't know what they're doing - most of the time! Great reviews of the vehicles - appreciate the fine effort Truck King(s)!
I’ve got an Expedition and have been pleasantly surprised by the fuel efficiency. It’s getting 21 mpg in combined driving and easily gets mid-20s on the highway. (sidebar- my daily driver VW GTI, aftermarket tuned by APR to 350 HP, gets 44 mpg highway best. Incredible)
Great video and comparison, I always like to think about the resale down the road . Great quality usually means great resell so I would have to go with the Cadillac Escalade but both are nice .
I prefer Navigators advantages above Escalade but it’s a tough one, because Navigator is for someone who’s more enjoys life and wants to get maximum enjoyment and power , while Cadillac is more for à younger generation.
I have a feeling big daddy had no problem getting the kids to hear him in the back and I bet he could give a look that freeze a bad kids blood. I go the Lincoln all that new fangled tech on the the Cadillac ain’t for me, at my age every new thing I learn, I lose something else that was in my brain, so far it’s been small stuff, but the Cadillac could push me over the edge plus that 2 mpg better mileage would maybe allow me a value meal burger every tank full, cause at $100,000.00 + I’d be divorced homeless and broke. Great review as always!!!
My family is on the market for a big-size SUV and this is a very helpful review. I test drove both and you definitely get amazing but different feelings on both. Cadillac is more tech and modern. On the other hand, Navigator is a traditional luxury and comfort. I am a tech guy and we are tilting to order the 2023 Escalade in September.
TOWING... TOWING... the Caddy will get a PILE more miles per gallon then the Ford while towing. The V6 in the Fords, all of them, suck fuel under load. Pretty important.
Old looks and couch seats vs newer tech and looks……….you will loose money as soon as you drive the navigator off the lot while the caddy you can actually drive for 5k miles and sell it for more than sticker, no joke on that last part also! 🤷🏽♂️
@@pimpindnice910 Well yeah just about all vehicles at the moment, but before Covid and then the chip shortage Navi’s value drops like a rock and have been historically(since they both came out)outsold by the more popular Escalade………Lincoln is still playing up the old man theme while Cadillac went for a more sporty younger tech based audience and successes with the arts and science themes starting with the CTS.
I like refined luxury. The seats are incredible in the Lincoln. Cad, not so much. Between the two, I went with the Lincoln and not sorry I did. I absolutely love the sophisticated luxury and statement of the Lincoln.
I love my beautiful monster (Cadillac). Looks like that one. She feels amazing and it’s presence is powerful and luxurious. 🖤 Not to mention that she sounds 👌🏻
Great reviews. Comparing the Lincoln's interior which is a big part regarding purchasing one of these large luxury SUVs. IMO. The Lincoln has the more impressive interior. From your review. I'm a big fan of the Lincoln's interior layout. The Lincoln seats look thicker and more comfortable than the caddy. The caddies 2nd row seats looks thin with less padding while the Lincoln's looks like lazy boy leather recliners and this isn't the Top Line Black Label model. The Lincoln's exterior looks more stately and proves an EcoBoost turbo V6 can do the job moving this penthouses on wheels. If I was in the market for one of these luxury SUVs. It would be the Lincoln.
Nice video! I have one of each...Escalade and a Lincoln. They are both great, similar packages. I give the nod to the GM product. It's a bit wider, and overall just feels like a more solid vehicle, very heavy duty with the Cadillac ride and ellegance. If we went by MSRP New...the Escalade is about 20% more than the Lincoln. That should speak to this topic. Even the Yukon Denali packages are overall more comfortable and larger. That's an owner of both vehicles, same year...best analysis.
I’ve always wanted a Lincoln since I was in grade school. A Lincoln Mark III would pass me every day on my way home from school. I had no idea what it was, I just knew it was beautiful. I drew a picture for my mom, including the spare tire bulge and she told me that’s what my grandpa drove. He was an exec at Ford, and I couldn’t wait for his next visit. His was brown and I couldn’t stop looking at it. I remember Ford was the first to offer a luxury SUV, and everyone in Hollywood was driving them. I still prefer the Lincoln over the Cadillac. The Lincoln isn’t too gimmicky looking, the Cadillac looks like a storm trooper helmet staring at you in the rear view mirror.
Would have been even cooler to include the LX600 as well... out of these, my dollars go to the Navigator.... Total class and excellence.... Escalade belongs to the funeral cavalcade
I was in the fence a while ago trying to decide. I bought a navigator and don’t regret it, for me it’s more luxurious and riding and seat comfort it’s superior than Cadillac. Love it so much that I just order a new black label version of the navigator. Navigator all the way.
Escalades have issues with the lifters like any other GM. The rear suspension height for cadillac Escalade looks too low to the ground and ugly. Navigator has problems with turbo and engine shafts. My navigation has 378k on it. Still runs like new with no major repairs. I like the navigator because it does the work.
The Navigator’s interior is just unbeatable it definitely gives luxury vibes more so than the Caddy. For that alone I think I would go with the navigator. Though I do wish they would update the outer body style.
And don't forget the Lincoln is like 8 years ahead of Cadillac. The Lincoln has a smaller engine also built better, it gives more miles on gas, the material is more expensive than the Cadillac, People should know this before purchasing a Cadillac or any GMC product
Lincoln is class. From The continental to the towncar. Businessmen hired drivers to drive Lincoln's. The only time you saw someone drive a Cadillac with someone in the back, it was a Hearst to a burial. Not a business meeting.
Hands-down I’m Escalade all the way! I have a Cadillac CTS now that I’ve been in love with for the past several years. Escalate as a little bigger than I need for my usage. But if I was going to pick between the navigator of the Escalade it would definitely be the Escalade no doubt! Lol
I have a 22 Navigator L Reserve and have to say I find it amazing that there are no reviewers making a point that you can have a Navigator with hands free highway driving for under 100k but to get Super Cruise in an Escalade you're going to be over 115k. Just sayin.
From my experience with both vehicles the Escalade really is above the navigator when it comes to Technology. As for the interior and quality the navigator really feels like a true luxury truck. Unfortunately the Escalade on the interior feels more like a GMC. Driving is pretty similar, but the navigator super light steering I really prefer because it makes it feel agile. Also if you compare that Escalade to a black label navigator interior and exterior wise there is no comparison. Again I think the only thing the Escalade has is the technology advantage.
couldn't agree more. and exterior the Escalade has a more bad ass king of the road look. Otherwise the Navigator is more elegant and closer to a European luxury feel and class
I think the only advantage the Escalade has is the technology. Other than that the Navigator is 100% better. I got to drive both and I really enjoyed the ride in the Navigator more than the Escalade!
The reason it seems like a gmc they are built at the arlington plant.. suburban yukon and cadillac they r all the same until they the emblems on it.. thats y i dont kno y caddy is so expensive i loveeeee the caddy tho esp that front and dash
These are supposed to e smooth and quiet. The loud engine of the Cadillac ruins it for me. Do the sound test WHILE ACCELERATING so we can see which car has the quieter engine while driving.
Cadillac Escalade looks a little better than the Lincoln Navigator. When I consider Escalade cost more and the Lincoln Navigator gives you better gas mileage I'd lean towards purchasing the Navigator over the Escalade. I really like both vehicles and I'd be happy owning either.
I like the styling of the navigator black label. However, Supercruise is better than Bluecruise. Also, the Escalade offers the V series with the 682 hp engine.
I say to just get one of each to fit the mood you're in at the moment. With that being said, I myself would also have to have a 3rd though, or perhaps just this one, and that would be the brand-new 2023 Escalade V coming in at only $40 thousand more, but worth every single penny in my opinion.
We appreciate the review, we own a 2016 Navigator L, 158k miles on it, Caddy is awesome, but we will keep our Navigator until it falls apart and can no longer be affordably repaired, by then we might be no longer be able to drive.
I feel like this wasn’t a fair comparison, reason being the Lincoln was a reserve trim and not a black label. But regardless of trim I would choose the Escalade because of its more of a statement and more bang for the buck.
That’s theirs opinion….. buy what you like and what you can afford….. I Always own a NAVIGATOR…. Why ??? The third seats are amazing! Spacious third seats
This wasn't the best comparison - should have been a Black Label Gator. The interior of the Gator is a lot more luxurious. That's what Lincoln focuses on the most.
Well they should’ve went with a Premium Luxury Platinum Escalade which blows the Black Label out of the water in luxury. The Escalade Sport isn’t the only trim there is. Lol
@@mybro727 Black Label interior is actually nicer than the Escalade Platinum interior. Trust me - I own one and looked at both. The Escalade’s semi-autonomous driving system is miles ahead of the Gator’s, though.
@@mkoehl01 I highly doubt that. Are you talking about the same Gideon whisper beige interior only found in Premium Luxury Cadillac Escalades? It is absolutely world class luxury.
I bought the Navi 2021 and I love the heads up display that is on the window, not the dash screen. You didn't comment on this feature of the Navi but it comes with the speed, suggested speed and all the destination instructions when you are using GPS. Eyes always on the road ....paramount. Add in the lane change detection with its vibrating wheel reminder , the blind spot detectors, the upgraded emergency breaking when driving in cruise control and you have a very safe ride. I'd go with the Caddy. But the Navigator looks very stately and elegant close up, especially the front end. And the 2nd row console is a REALLY nice touch.
2nd row console becomes a hassle when trying to get people into the 3rd row
Excellent and very exact info on both. Having Caddys previously and currently switched to Navis we have never looked back. Navis care and customer service have well exceeded GM offerings. Lincoln KNOWS you are somebody when you purchase this level and they make sure to deliver on their word. Again very good video and you both nailed it.
Glad I watched this all the through. I’m gonna buy both of them.
lol
I’ve had both and have a navigator now and honestly prefer my navigator over the Cadillac. You did a great job comparing the two vehicles

Lol, no.
haha no. Old money will often go Suburban or Yukon. You're lost.
The Lincoln seems to catch my eye more.. Looks nice and clean in that white color and like the colors and layout of the interior more.
Great review!
My wife and I were in the market for a large suv and took a look at the Escalade, Navigator and Yukon. We felt the Escalade was younger looking and aggressive and decided to place an order for the 2023 model. Hoping we’ll have it by February 😊
Keep up reviews coming!
Did you get the Super-Cruise Control? and what does it cost you? I want to get one too.
I'm not a fan of the 23 model. Waiting for 2025!
I ordered the super cruise which was around $2500. Unfortunately when the car arrived, there was no supercruise. I asked my sales rep why it would come built without it, and he mentioned they were low on chips so the skipped it for my build. Unfortunate but not a complete loss.
To each their own. The drive is absolutely amazing. 2025 I’m sure will be new and improved.
@Matthew Monica I was only kidding. I can't afford the 23 so that was my way of saying I'm waiting for the 25. Hoping one day I can afford it 😂😂

I'm not a big GM fan, but the Caddy looks really good. Good luck to those that can afford one and keep gas in it ….🙂
Its distinctive among any other car on the road. Especially anything American.
🤣🤣🤣
You can afford it too just work HARDER💯
\
The other x factors are I like the information system of the Escalade, but the interior of the Navigator is really pure luxury, something that rivals a Merced's.
I think the Navigator is at #2, only behind the Mercedes but ahead of the BMW X&
Final verdict, get the diesel version of the regular sized black label Navigator and enjoy.
Wow. Had no.idea escalade came with an optional diesel. Thanks for sharing that.
Ford has Blue Cruise that’s the same as GM’s and less scary than Teslas.
@@foundation_mindset111duramax 3.0L V6 turbo diesel, it gets around 24 city 28 highway
Yes sir the Yukon Denali has that mean look yet luxury at its finest. And you can’t beat the price either.
I bought my Navigator L this July, it is very good SUV, I think that is the King of SUVs. My family really enjoyed it.
The Lincoln’s chime when you turn it on was performed by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and recorded for the chime.

Reduces your taxes in the new Lincoln so it kind of becomes a split, slightly in their favor. We had a 2018 we bought in 20, and are picking up our 2023 this week. Deal was done in an hour. Scottsdale Boutique sales office is the PLACE to buy a new Lincoln. Comfortable seats, less stress on back of legs due to fine adjustments. Dial in how tight you want it to handle!!! Sporty? Softer. Ice? Snow? It’s yours. Want it to park itself? So easy - brake, let go, it directs the auto into place. Want it to back your boat into the water? Push the button - boom, straight back in. Massage seats tilt hips back and forth so reduces back and hip fatigue. Hands down. No pressure. No gimmicks. Quiet luxury and Ms Avery pulls the best espresso drinks in the Scottsdale Promenade Sanderson Lincoln Promenade showroom. Skip the coffee shop before you peruse the SUVs. Call before u go and ask what cars they have inside, and in their garage. Luxury shopping at no extra cost. Sit and ask questions in comfort. Are there issues sometimes, yes. Anytime you have this much electronics…something might need fixing. Black label service is still decent, Mercedes and Infiniti might do slightly better in Phoenix. But Lincoln picks up and delivers. Waiting area for fast oil changes is great. Personal attention. The only other SUV we considered this time was a loaded Yukon - it’s catching up fast to this level and has an interior similar to The Navigator - it’s supplemented with lithium batteries so will save some gas on trips. We decided to save money now and buy luxury we know and trust. Sequoia is sneaking up and a good option but rear seats fail to lower reducing the carload area space. Handles nicely as Toyota quality steering reins true. Navigator for us. Best quality for dollar. Road worthy trips with friends with rear center console and best in class guest seating fit for owners who allow guests to ride shotgun! Girlfriend trips? Navigator wins. Golf buddies and 4 sets of clubs? Nav or Escalade.
Does the Navigator have Augmented reality?
I had new 83 and 87 Cadillacs. Now I have 2019 Navigator Black Label.
All terrific cars!
Still one of my favorite channels to watch. thank you guys! Great review.
Navi is just different
@@rhydynamic8306 This is absolutely hilarious. The interior of the Escalade is absolutely gorgeous and you’re wrapped in the finest leathers and materials money can buy. It’s obvious when Ford fans get on UA-cam and sell a dream that never translates to real world sales. Because if the Lincoln was truly this much better than the Cadillac Escalade, sales would reflect that as anyone that can afford a Escalade can easily have a Navigator instead. @@mybro727 The only thing that sells Escalades are the bold exterior design and the name recognition with in-your-face wealth.
Amen!
I agree. I have a long wheelbase Expedition because I tow, but the lack of space behind the 3rd row on standard wheelbase is a non starter for someone that actually needs a 3rd row.
No way you are comparing a Ford Expedition to a Navigator. The Expedition is not in the same atmosphere as the navigator.

I live on Lake Superior and the Navigator's aluminum body offers me the huge benefit of not rusting to hell in all of the road salt that is used in the north country. Since I don't drive all that many miles I keep vehicles a long time and that gives the Navigator a big advantage over years of road salt.
But not as protective in a crash
Nice review slick! I have both models with a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ and a Ford F150 Platinum truck. I like both vehicles because of the gasoline options and don't want the premium engines on the GM models due to the issues. If I had the money, I would probably go with the Lincoln Navigator.
The L version of the Navigator has 36³ of cargo space. The Reserve is the mid trim version. I drive a 2023 Navigator L Black Label which is their top of the line trim.
I also drive a 2023 Escalade and do like the conversation enhancement function.
I would be happy with either one! But I would have to go with the CAD! I love the looks.

Great video and comparison, I always like to think about the resale down the road . Great quality usually means great resell so I would have to go with the Cadillac Escalade but both are nice .
Why in earth would you say the Escalade has better quality?

Not a business meeting.
wtf are you on, good drugs?
I would take the rough and rugged Escalade any day over the prissy Navigator!
After seeing your excellent coverage, I'd choose the Lincoln.
I’d be happy with either or but I’d go with the Escalade.. the sound of the Escalade got me hooked..
Just sayin.
You guys are awesome in reviews, congrats, really
From my experience with both vehicles the Escalade really is above the navigator when it comes to Technology. As for the interior and quality the navigator really feels like a true luxury truck. Unfortunately the Escalade on the interior feels more like a GMC. Driving is pretty similar, but the navigator super light steering I really prefer because it makes it feel agile. Also if you compare that Escalade to a black label navigator interior and exterior wise there is no comparison. Again I think the only thing the Escalade has is the technology advantage.
Agreed 💯
couldn't agree more. and exterior the Escalade has a more bad ass king of the road look.
Most of its pieces are Cadillac unique but it does share some of the parent company parts like the blinker stalk.
❤ the father and son duo, well balanced review
Cadillac for me. The Lincoln looks really dated and old fashioned.
Sounds right, the looks are the only thing that sells Escalades. I mean really.
If you get the right packages on the Navigator it looks incredible
Especially at night
You actually have to see it out in the streets the camera don’t do this truck justice
I’ve owned 3 Lincoln’s and now 2 Cadillacs and hands down Cadillac is the 🏆
@@aaronmoore1210 why?
They ( ford and gm ) should come up with more differentiated line up for their luxury brands .. Lincoln looks pleasing however.
The Lincoln is nice and all if you like the more traditional flavor but the Boss is the Caddie
Cadillac Escalade , just look at the selling numbers!!!!
Lincoln cannot compete, the only place people are choosing the Ford over the Cadillac is in UA-cam comments. They aren’t fooling anyone.
Numbers have nothing to do with which is the better car. If it was, Ford/Lincoln would outsell GM in just about every product market.
I like the styling of the navigator black label.
However, Supercruise is better than Bluecruise.
Also, the Escalade offers the V series with the 682 hp engine.
I think when it comes down to it I would take the Navigator.
I say to just get one of each to fit the mood you're in at the moment.
With that being said, I myself would also have to have a 3rd though, or perhaps just this one, and that would be the brand-new 2023 Escalade V coming in at only $40 thousand more, but worth every single penny in my opinion.
I like the Lincoln Navigator based off the interior 👌 and it has basically the same however the Escalade is bigger
We appreciate the review, we own a 2016 Navigator L, 158k miles on it, Caddy is awesome, but we will keep our Navigator until it falls apart and can no longer be affordably repaired, by then we might be no longer be able to drive.
I loved the looks and features so much on the Escalade I bought one for my wife and myself.
Cadillac Escalade is the best.
I love my navigator. The massage seats are where it’s at.
I feel like this wasn’t a fair comparison, reason being the Lincoln was a reserve trim and not a black label. But regardless of trim I would choose the Escalade because of its more of a statement and more bang for the buck.
I had both before. Now I want both again 😊😅😊
I can't get over people giving the edge to the Lincoln on the interior...Caddy for the win especially their night vision.
Lincoln shines with interior options and appointments. But the body is aging.
@@mybro727 yep! I am. I was surprised, too.
Spending $15,000 grand more for the Cady is a waste of money.😜
