Alternatively, you can throw Heavy Affinity on the greatsword and then level only str. For talismans, do erdtrees favor +2, dragoncrest greatshield, great jars arsenal, and claw talisman. If you think you're good on equip load then swap great jars arsenal for two headed turtle talisman for that good stamina regen. Claw talisman is if you like doing jump attacks, but can be swapped with axe talisman if you like charged attacks. There's quite a lot of variability here which is why I skipped going over some things. This build is 90% about the looks because it's basically a guts cosplay. The weapon just happens to be so good you don't really need to put much thought into it other than leveling strength ( or str + dex) based on your preference.

There is another various armor for guts is called the armor of solitude, which may not be all black, but it does have a similar even along with the black cap.
It does have a similar vibe but I thought it was too bulky. The silver color and then the flatness of the cape throw it off in comparison to the nights cavalry. The boss that you get the solitude armor from has a grestsword with similar coloration to drsgonslaywr though which is pretty cool

I second thr blackgaol knight drops. His armor is pretty sick although I think nights cavalry is closer to the berserker. The blackgaol greatsword has the perfect coloration but it's not large enough
You can actually go out of scadu altus 4:13 without exploring it. right after the big jump, just head north and jump off the castle. To do this, There’s a mini barrel fire right next the spear storage. you can jump onto that then jump over the brick fences. There will be a damage fall and 2 abductor virgins so be careful. Just head North West after the fall to reach the next grace.
Still wish they had the repeating crossbow as a smaller single hand attachment instead of it being a huge dual wield type crossbow but can’t ask for everything
Yeah, I'd say the base game Greatsword is probably the best for Dragonslayer. Though it is a design mix of Dragonslayer as well as the greatsword he had right before the Eclipse
I think nights cavalry looks more like berserker. It's got the pointed plated look and the cape is way closer to guts tattered cape. Solitude armor is too bulky

It's optional because standard and quality both have dex scaling. You can choose one of those and then use some additional weapons other than the greatsword. A smaller quick weapon would supplement well, but it's up to you
Imo nights cavalry looks much closer than solitude. Guts has a tattered shadowy cape and black plated armor that shows more of his physique. The nights cavalry shares these features, where as solitude armor has a flat ironed looking cape and super bulky silvery armor
Arrows reach, arrows sting, and arrows soaring sting. The first one gives you more range and the second one gives more damage. The third does both. Idk if they stack or not

A lot of people keep saying that, but all it's got is a black cape. It's a bulky, silver, basic suit of armor with a flat black cape. Whereas nights cavalry is black, pleated, athletic looking, and has the shadowy tattered cape vibe. If I were to rate the two armor sets on closeness to berserker armor, I would but nights cavalry at a 9 and solitude at like 6

Yes the crossbow is a dlc weapon. But, the good news is thst there's plenty of crossbows in thr base game already. They might not be repeating but they're good enough. Also, the spin move I got in this vid was called savage lions claw. There's one in the base game that's called lions claw and it's very similar
If you upgrade endurance it will increase the amount you can hold. I would use a larval tear to respec your character and cut the 99 strength down to like 80, then throw those reclaimed levels into endurance
