Well I had pain in the butt, lower back, side of my hips, legs, knees, and my groin for years. My pain covered all the taped areas you showed. Various Physical Therapists and Chiropractors said it was my lower back; but after years of suffering, a Chiropractor finally sent me for an MRI of my hip. It came back showing a large labrum tear, so I recently had hip surgery. The surgeon also discovered what he considered a very bad bone spur. After a few months of recovery, I’m doing great!! I can’t believe the amount of pain I had from that torn hip. I know if I would have seen you two for my pain, you two would have figured it out. And, it wouldn’t have taken you years! Thanks 🙏🏻 so much for your videos. I’ve learned so much from you, and I follow your advice. I’ve told my current Chiropractor and Physical Therapist about your videos. 😉 They think they’re great too.

I can't wait till the follow-up videos. I need this info so badly. My pain is so bad that it keeps me from doing anything. My home is a mess because most days I have such a high pain level that it's hard to move around or clean, etc. I'd sure like to get back into life, so I hope this is just the info I've needed.

I'm completely debilitated by hip pain with sciatica, and low back degenerative disc disease. I've been told I have hip bursitis. My house is a mess too as I can't do much of anything. Can't cook. Can't have sex. Can't take walks. I'm so depressed. Walking with a cane. Yes, I'm 65 but I look and (always felt) much younger. I have two precious grandchildren and I'm not doing any of the things I had always dreamed of doing with them. I was planning to really pursue and figure out what to do about this terrible problem when the pandemic hit and everything just stopped. That's how long I've been in horrible pain! I live with my boyfriend who also has pain but his is of a much different nature.

@@goldie20lw thank you Lisa. Sad to say it's hard to keep the faith under such circumstances. Simply tired of 24/7 pain. The VA told us when we signed up and swore our oath that we'd be taken care of were we to be injured in the line of duty. But alas that is Not the case. The pain is beginning to breed anger and resentment. Neither of these leads to anywhere healthy. But pain on a level Daily that brings one to beg for death seems to overwhelm any sense of reason or even faith. It's a truly dark place when one is crying daily in pain and hoping God will finally pull the plug.

I had radio ablation on my lumber 3 weeks ago, I've had this same treatment 4 times with relief every time. This past procedure was done by a different Doctor. I've been in agony ever since the procedure. I wonder if it's possible to burn the wrong nerves or just burn too many. I know that all the nerves in the lumbar region are responsible for most of the organs in the lower part of the body, kidneys, bladder, prostate and others as well, but I noticed severe hip pain the last 4 or 5 days. I sure hope that as these burnt nerves heal that the hip pain goes away as now I can't go for walks with my wife and that makes me miserable. I want to send out prayers and hopes of rapid recovery for everyone that has back problems as I have had them for over 40 years, I know all about pain.

Hey bob and brad. I fractured my L3-L5 transverse processes on new years this year and have been having pain in the hips as well now aside from the lower back pain. I have been dealing with trying to get insured again since i made a career change and so i haven’t seen a specialist, only the ER and a clinic. Both said no brace is really made for that break and it just requires a lot of rest to heal. I was recommended at the clinic to sleep on my sides to stay neutral and since then my hips have been killing me. Do you recommend any stretches I might not be doing? Or maybe new sleeping position? Thank you

some times I feel like someone is stabbing me or pulling hairs out of me or pulling my me at my thighs, Not sure why, but usually goes away, maybe back related too?
this is usually at the mid front thigh.
it can happen when I feel fine in my back too.
I don't get that often, but I don't think I have gotten it anywhere else. I don't know if it matters but I am a very active mountain biker, and suffer from misalignment and pain in at whole body really, including hips, back.
I sometimes have tight feeling hip/upper thigh, but I think that might be back related, cus I usually have messed up back for sure when it happens.

I had a hip replacement in 2020. It went ok till after a few months the hip joint began sublexing. My surgeon felt it sublexing but at the same time we couldn’t get it to sublex when doing a fleuroscopy. I worked on strengthening and it quit sublexing. In August 2023, I had 2 fusions done. One at L2-L3 lateral cut and one at L5-S1, anterior cut. Then I had a huge herniation at L2-L3 and had revision surgery which was a laminectamy, disectomy and fusion, posterior cut. This cured everything! I felt great! Then in June 2024, I began experiencing hip pain which has since became unbearable. What’s your diagnosis of this? I felt better than I have in years, then my hip replacement began hurting! I’m sad, angry, depressed, and don’t know what to do…

No cutting muscle. I had zero physical therapy or rehab. I was walking around the block with a walker in 2 days and at 13 days I returned to work doing construction. For me, it was almost a miracle. Not all recover that fast because I was in relative good condition for surgery. But, most who have this type of hip replacement recover quickly. For me, it was no worse than having a tooth pulled. @@virsapiensfortisest922 I recommend the direct anterior method as much as I can. And several have done it that way. And I seriously mean it when I say that for me it was little different than having a tooth pulled. For the 1st 10 days or so I dealt with swelling but did a lot of walking. No big deal. Just sit and raise the leg for awhile. You'll also have to wear a special sock for awhile. And I am more physically active now than I've been in 20 years. I hope your experience is the same. I have about a 5 inch scar. Any pain is minimal - maybe a 1 or 2 on a 10 scale and rare. 1000x better than before the surgery. My surgery took about 45 minutes and I spent one night in the hospital. I did have to put an extra pad in a shoe because the surgery made my leg about an1/8th inch longer. Again, no big deal. I'm 70 and I ride bikes, walk a lot, and can run with no problem but I try to avoid as much pounding exercise (like running) as possible just to save wear and tear on the hip. The doctor said it should last 30 years. They've come a long way. I recently spoke with a 28 year old man that had it done and he had a similar experience. Just don't worry too much. You are going to feel so much better.

If the pain is coming from my lower back.. I was told I need another surgery.. I'm getting ready to go in for an MRI and an XRay of my lower spine.. Dr sd it will be an XRay where I have to move around. Dr wants to see if anything has slipped.. My question to you is, what do they do for the Bursistis?? I love you guys and your channel is great. I just wish you’d ditch the microphones. You guys sound like you selling cookware at the state fair exhibition building.

What’s wrong when the pain is between the lower part of your butt cheeks (a hand’s length below the belt line) and on the lower left cheek itself (right on the undergarment line)? I haven’t been able to sit down or stand for more then a minute at a time for 2 months now. I have numbness and tingling down the left leg to the toe. My physiotherapist and chiropractor keep saying it’s sciatic, but the exercises that they give me cause burning pain. 😵🤯😭 I’m starting to think it’s something else, but I can’t figure out what. Please give me your best guess so that I have a starting point to figuring it out.
I originally just squatted down to stretch my back and hips out one evening and I heard a popping sound. Any weight bearing is excruciating!!

Try going to a primary care provider. Maybe they will have fresh insights on what to do.

I did. They sent me for an MRI on it, and I get the results on Monday. I was just wondering if Bob & Brad could add any insight.
