  • Hi Everyone!
    Welcome to another video of cosplay, make up and weirdness! This was based on the Amethyst dragons in 'Dungeons and Dragons', I've been entranced by those floaty-horns and spines since Fizbans Treasury of Dragons came out!
    As always, if you have questions or comments please comment below; I'm still relatively new to UA-cam, so if you have any feedback for me or constructive criticism please don't be shy to tell me!
    If you like my work and want to support me, or just want to see more goodies like previews, work in progress, behind the scenes or entirely exclusive content, join us over on Patreon here: patreon.com/misstwisteddd.
    Thank you all so much for watching and for your support!

    PLEEEEEEASE tell us you're using a respirator and ventilation when using the hot wire cutter. The fumes that foam gives off are severely toxic!

      She's A. Professional , I sure she is. I can't wait to she her work in The movies....Her work on all is real nice. But The Woman behind the makeup. Is. Beautiful ..❤

      I think the weirdest thing about holding them is that they're so light but you expect them to be heavy!

    I also like your "owl-chemist" character, and would LOVE to see a tutorial on how you did her wig and makeup if you please!

    I love your work and videos! the OWL woman shorts i saw and was amazed. I am a old D&Der from 1977. Now i want to run a Owl woman character. the character i am playing now in love with a Amethyt dragon in woman form. So cool i have a image ti imagine for her.
    Keep up the great work

    I love the final look! Only concern is that I'm not sure you have enough ventilation for what you're doing with foam. Otherwise, even though I might take a different approach, your final dragon is beautiful and does well to evoke the source inspiration! 👏👏👏

    If you want a more gemstone look for crystals, with the painting, after the metallic layer, add a heavier layer of a high gloss over it and it looks more like a gem

    I wonder if there could be a faster way to apply the primer than by brush.... Would it work if you used a spray bottle?

    • @MissTwisteddd
      @MissTwisteddd  Рік тому +2

      Funnily enough there are some spray paint options, plastidip is one very popular one I haven't tried before. But since I already had a big bucket of mod podge I'm sticking with this one haha! Maybe next time I'll try out a spray to compare them!

    • @KatieCottingham
      @KatieCottingham Рік тому

      @@MissTwistedddf it's XPS foam you're working with, there's a few different primers from the theatrical and pool construction industries that work well, so it just depends on your budget and projected use. If you needed to spray hundreds of pieces, a pneumatic sprayer and professional coatings will work faster, but if there's little return for the product your making or it's a rare project, plasti-dip will get you through.
      Edit: Any sprayer used for a coating should never come in contact with makeup products. You have to keep those separate.
      Also, applying a coating of skin safe latex for what is being applied as a prosthetic protects your skin from potential contaminants. And applying the SFX prosthetics before makeup protects the prosthetic and switching to Pros-Aide from Spirit Gum will do your skin favors later!

    Very cool - not only the physical aspects of the cosplay (the crystals etc) but the body artwork and makeup.
    The audio is great but the effects in the background is a little distracting - maybe drop the volume in the background effects a little.
    But I totally dig what you are doing - keep up the awesomeness!!!

  • @lindendrache8998
    @lindendrache8998 Рік тому

    You are very talented! It looks awasome, I love the lightning pattern!
    But one thing I never get.... Why didn't you remove your goddamn nosering?! It ruins the look.
    In my opinion this is one of the most ugly things someone could wear, especially when in the middle of the nose, I don't know what people like about it. Noserings are for cows!
    Oh boy, I hope this trend will disappear soon like tramp stamps, tribals and those gemstones people put on their teeth...

    love the look of it but i feel like the crown is far too much forwards. pull it a bit more back and make them feel more like a crown of horns some dragons have but detached like the original crystals. i think that would help a whole lot.
