Welcome friend! Feel free to join us in San Diego at Comicon! Honey this parade goes on for three solid days for six, eight square blocks around the convention center itself. Even if you don't score a ticket there is SO MUCH going on around the center itself for free. Get a hostel, a Bnb, an Airbnb, and take the trolly, which stops right in front of the convention center. The rooms downtown are outrageous and booked years in advance. The trusty trolly can bring you from everywhere. Just get something in the vicinity of a trolly stop in any surrounding town, and have about $3. LOTS of free merch everywhere, just pack a lunch. It will be worth it for the EYE CANDY, the selfies, the games and events going on everywhere. Hope you visit someday!
I did a costume of Jack Sparrow, it had a total cost of about $2,000. It was a semi proportional stilt walking costume that set me as an 8' 2" pirate. With every detail in place I drew a massive amount of attention everywhere I went. I used that costume for 2 Halloween years. It was so fun.

That is one more thing I love about San Diego.....Comicon! Not just the convention center, but the surrounding six blocks in every direction. I've seen most of these people! (9th century Viking cosplay here) With my pet chicken in Viking gear on my shoulder, I told them I was the worst falconer in my village. She wore a linen tunic with period embroidery, a leather belt with sword (A heavy duty sewing needle, hasped with leather wrap and topped with a bone human skull bead), custom sewn sheath. Bronze Thor's hammer on a thong, teeny tiny bottle of mead attached to the belt. Actual amber and jet beads around the neck embroidery. She LOVED Comicon. People marveled at the "danger"of her sword. I had two words for them, "Opposable thumbs". Some got it, some didn't. I suppose they expected her to whip it out at some point. Even the police cleared the "actual weapon" once they checked it out. RIP Eggnog, we miss you. She had one exciting life for a chicken.
I’ve done a lot of cosplays, but Johnathan Crane the ‘Scarecrow’ from Batman, and Jervis Tetch ‘Mad Hatter’ from the Arkham were among my favorites. My original one was my husband and I did ‘Biker’ Harley and Joker, had red/black and purple leather jackets 😬
I was having a hard time getting creative. With out a workshop and time to create something elaborate I took a blue wig, turned a steampunk mask around, but some red heart stickers on it, turned a yo-yo into my butterfly catcher, and became ladybug from cat noir and ladybug. I was so happy with the way it turned out considering it came together the morning I went to my local Comic-Con. What added icing was when I went into the grocery store and someone recognized my character right away.
I'd love to see the Master Chief & Cortana in Cosplay, I've played the games from the beginning & those two will always hold a special place in my heart.
I’ve done Captain Hook from Hook, Concentrated Evil from Time Bandits, The winged flying armor from Brazil, Darkness from Legend And an UrrU Mystic from The Dark Crystal. I’ve even won a few masquerades. I’m currently working on a Mandalorian.
Part of cosplay is getting into character! Back during the 1984 MediaWestCon, in East Lansing Michigan we (a group of six or seven) did the Imperial Guard and Lord Darth Vader. The Vader costume was a full seven feet (the wearer was already 6'4" and added lifts and a Vocoder to the kit) and we were dressed as Imperial officers. There were a couple of Stormtroopers along as well. We went to a restaurant, in formation, and got a good table for the lot of us. We walked in, Lord Vader sat down. We sat down. Nearby, we overheard a mother telling her child "Look! There's Darth Vader. If you want to be big and strong, like him, you need to eat your vegetables!" Lord Vader got up. We got up. We stood at attention as Vader turned to address the little boy and his mother. In full deep voice, our Leader intoned solemnly (James Earl Jones would have died with envy!) "Little boy... *I* never ate my vegetables, and do not have to, either." The mother's jaw hit the floor! Lord Vader turned back to the table and sat down. We sat down. The meal continued. After we had eaten (Vader had eaten beforehand and did not remove his mask), we went to pay the check. The restaurateur asked me "Why did Darth Vader tell that little kid he didn't have to eat his vegetables?!" to which I responded in my severest British clipped accent "Well, we ARE evil, don't you know?" and we marched out in formation. Character is EVERYTHING!

These artists deserve a whole lot more credit and acknowledgment for their superb work. Keep up the phenominal work you are doing. You are making this world we live in a more interesting and magical place. Thank you!
I have seen some amazing Transformers and Godzilla costumes, as well as Gundam. Those are impressive. I made and worn costumes back in 2005 through 2009. I now just use my sewing abilities to remake my clothes and make them more tailor fit, since most clothes are for tall twig giraffes and not miniature ponies. But I do buy premade costumes, tweak it and add accessories from other costumes to make it unique yet you know what it is. I had taken crappy Rubies costumes and turn them into amazing pieces. By the way do you have the link to that Venom guy? I would love for him to make a Queen Venom suit for me. A Queen Xenomorph infected with a symbiote.

My favorite cosplays I have personally done so far are my Halloween costumes from 2019 and 2020, which were Lampwick from Disney's pinocchio (mid transformation into a donkey) and Spiderman in a French Recoco masquerade style
well the people who cosplay as stormtrooper have a massive advantage during this pandemic and even if they got covid they would still be unable to hit you

Happy to see Maul Cosplay. He's so talented
Loved your work keep going brother and keep growing
I think ALL of these amazing costumes are so fantastically crafted they should be featured somewhere everyone will have the chance to experience their high quality. Unfortunately, I do not know whee that would be but if I ever find such a place, I will try like heck to get it done.
Sadly He Doesnt

I currently cosplay plague doctors and Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, with my own twist of corse
My favorite cosplays I have personally done so far are my Halloween costumes from 2019 and 2020, which were Lampwick from Disney's pinocchio (mid transformation into a donkey) and Spiderman in a French Recoco masquerade style
well the people who cosplay as stormtrooper have a massive advantage during this pandemic and even if they got covid they would still be unable to hit you
This video remind us that cosplaying can be funny, creppy, simple, talented and u can who u want
Okay I gotta say that toothless one has got to be my favorite and the others are really good but the toothless one is just SO CUTE
I love how to train your dragon and I would easily mistaken her as a real dragon
Brad - keep that woman at all cost. She loves you without a doubt.
Somewhere I have plans for a mech suit made of cardboard and other items at Home Depot.
I don't know where I put the drawings, and I have no Halloween plans, so that idea is shelved for now.
Sinistur here and just want to say thanks for featuring me 🤘

Yeah some of these people (I'm convinced of it) have super creative powers or something. You should try it too! Even if you don't have a big budget, there are plenty of low cost cosplays you can make :)
I can admire the dedication and attention to details
I’m just getting into costume making and this is very inspiring to watch! I’m currently working on a steampunk plague doctor outfit. ^V^
