i live with a bird that is white and black, mannerisms could be better for instance your not trying to bite anyone close to you. or poo on some rich jerks car.
I love him! When you were flapping your arms I got this whole vibe of him being the youngest member of this ancient race of bird-beings. Nobody takes him seriously until one day he accidentally joins a plucky band of other random creatures and helps them save the world. ❤
It is a testament to your level of craft that you can take a simple premise and simple materials and then end up with something that would be at home in a Henson production, particularly Labyrinth or the Dark Crystal.
I never even knew it was a meme, I just assumed you somehow dredged this unhinged thing up from the depths of your psyche. Anyways amazing work again and as usual I absolutely love it! Nice necklace too! I don't think I've really seen it before. Is it new? I usually don't pay attention to that but since a co-worker had been bragging about getting a new one all day it just sort of caught my eye haha
Haha honestly it wouldn't surprise me if it was a concept entirely from my own head given my weird concepts already! But it just meant I instantly felt drawn to the erosion bird meme when I saw it!! And thank you! It is a new necklace!
As someone not on Tik-Tok, this is my first exposure to this. But gosh, this costume and the way you did the head is so inspiring for my Percy and Orthax costume! I hope that some day you make a full video about making your biblical angel headpieces, because they’re so fascinating, I’d love to hear how you make them, and Shorts can’t be saved to reference later and aren’t really a step-by-step descriptions of how it’s done. I’d love how you make those cool costume pieces! They’re truly art pieces, tbh.
I propose the lore behind this costume being what the Skeksis looked like before they got corrupted by the Dark Crystal. Or alternatively, the profane Ascendant Skesis after truly harnessing the power of the Dark Crystal by consuming the life force of all the other Skeksis and Gelflings, if you want the idea where the prettiest Skesis is actually the most evil one.
i’ve used those clear baubles before! my preschool would let us pick out a few colors of paints to put in them and shake them wildly to make a wonderful multicolor bulb.
@@MissTwisteddd i will say that the paint starts to separate from the bulb after about a decade, but it still stays in about the same place. none of the bulbs have paint shreds, just air bubbles between the paint and the bulb
Oh my gosh! I absolutely LOVE finally seeing a detailed how-to video of yours! I've only ever seen the short form videos and they are just so amazing. Your style is so unique, and the "animated" creations you make are next level.
I, too, have an affinity for feathers and wings. This bird is...deliciously disturbing and I kinda want to make one for myself. Using the chunky yarn was brilliant; I'm going to borrow that technique to make "icicle feathers" for my winter fae. Honestly, you are SO inspiring.
This is so cool!!! Meme bird aside, the mechanics of the head makes it look so realistic. I mean, it's basically a cardboard bobblehead, but you'd never know from just looking at it. I was getting Big Bird vibes. This would be fun as a corvid, too.
I loved watching your process with this. You clearly know what you are doing, and I appreciate that you take the time to share your knowledge with the world.
To be completely honest I think this has got to be my favorite video from you so far XD I don't care what youtube algorithm says, this is the content I signed up for. Don't get me wrong, the other cosplays are perfect, but there's just something about literally slapping stuff together last minute because YOU WANT TO Your enthusiasm is truly contagious
@@MissTwisteddd Honestly this inspired to make some cardboard critter myself, I just need to catch a break from school 😩 It’s s exactly like you said: there’s something really special about getting glue under your fingernails like when you were eight😆 Anyways, love you and please continue being the amazing human? being you are 😘🦉💕
My siblings and I have been SEARCHING for someone to make a tutorial for these damn birds. I love them so much and we're gonna try our hand at the birds!!! Thank you!
Thank you for sharing. I really enjoy your creations, you add so much personality to the characters. It really elevates it from purely nice to look at to storytelling through visuals. I hope this makes sense, anyway keep doing what your doing you slay.
This is just great! It is a real looking bird. Your sculping if fantastic. I also just love your owlchemist character. Thanks for sharing your talents and creativity! Peace, love, and light.
Fascinating! I was wondering what you used for the pivot point, but a bit of string/wire with balancing weights makes a ton of sense. The final product is shockingly good!
Oh it reminds me of one of The Spirit Walker's suits.. definitely recommend seeing the ones he makes, they're real cool and some have lived a LOT longer than he originally intended.
Saaame, I also couldn’t stop thinking about those birds when I saw the videos. So much so I started imagining how to start making a suit for next (now this) year’s Halloween, but like most ideas, it was more likely I would have enjoyed the idea more than the following through
Sooo... I'm not really into birds all that much, or this kind of cosplay or anything you're showing but I do admire how well everything turned out. Anyhoots (see what I did there) I just wanted to mention before I click the show less, that you keep doing you and that you are very beautiful and super weird but not my kinda super weird. Hopefully, I'll stumble across your channel again down the line.
That was a fun build and an interesting look into your “bird” brain. Some fantastic quick fix techniques borne from years of accumulated skill. Thanks.
I love this so much!! I saw this cosplay on your Instagram and I desperately wanted to know how you made that head work! Thank you for sharing!! I'm definitely going to be saving this video for later for future cosplays.😁
That head attachment is so genius! Such a fluid and interesting movement with just some string! I'm honestly mind-blown by that, and that it still holds so well!
I absolutely love this! And your art! I want to make one myself now! Thank you so much for posting this tutorial, this really helped me with a project I’m starting to work on that means a lot to me 🤍🥰🤍
Off topic (your content is seriously impressive BTW) but have you ever thought of doing a few short stories for your characters, some short serials and episodes to bring your creations even more to life?

It's mostly just a funky name that has a nice ring to it! But I guess I always try and find a unique 'twist' to things to make them my own so I guess it kind of comes from that!
So THAT'S how you got the head to stay level while the neck moved! All this time I had thought it was somehow string-controlled from your hands. LOL Thank you for showing the making-of decisions which went into building this.
Gonna do this! Can't get the bobbles as it's almost summer, but I have a small stress ball I can cut in half and paint. And I'll prolly just make the head and wear it as a mask! (Paint the cardboard, attach some white fur for lining at the edges, attach elastic, tada!)
cute white birb video idea: theres people in the potion shop looking around and youre helping a customer, suddenly they start touching things, you warn them not to, then like a small explosion or someone turns into a rabbit or something and you sigh or say something silly xD and you can just put in a sound effect it doesnt have to be a scene change xDDD
