Nice my first dirt bike was a 1980 KX80 i raced that 80 for 4 years at my high school in riverside California at john W north what a blast we had racing against other high schools every friday night
This is gold I'm in the process of trying to lever out from a female friend of mine her early 80s kx80 she can't give me a year at this stage but I'm trying. Can't wait to see this project 👍

Back in 1980 in kenny roberts garage i drew a new design for my 80 kx 80 by adding a blue seat to ride up the gas tank and cutting down a kx 125 number plates to fit my dirt nike the next weekend i had the parts and told kenny is there a way to turn the front forks upside down for better control he looked at me as if i was crazy i was 12 years old at that time and way ahead of my time i wish i could have kept my drawins i did

Its 82 but this just happens to have the 81 'uni track' sticker on swingarm, not the 82... an easy fix none the less lol
the old one indoors is an 83
