Great video! All around good stuff. Im wearing my hair done (center part/undercut) nowadays as I grow it out a bit, eliminating the need for a post styler. The importance of a well informed hair regime cannot be overstated. Cheers!
So from the two post styler's you used, being Monarch and Cavalier. I would very much like to know how you add them after pre styling, hair drying, etc. because I seem to think I find the most difficult time with it. As an example, I have been using Fifth Sample Pomade as a pre styler and monarch as a post styler, but I tend to run it through my hair so it gets everywhere and I start to believe I'm running the product out. I'm liking Monarch for the summer/high humidity but like I said, I feel like I'm just running the product out of my hair and what it's suppose to do.
I would love to see a post styling video! I just got Blumaan’s discovery kit and so far my favorite go to is pre style with original and post with hybrid but after watching this i’ll have to switch the two and see how that works out! BTW if you haven’t used Blumaan and want to, definitely give the discovery kit a try!!
Speaking of blueprint haha cornerstone is also a great pre styler. I didn’t want to mention too many of my products in this video but it’s a fantastic one.
Nice Video Mike🔥 And a video about Post-Styling in this high quality type would be great.I saw a prev video about that you love to use oils as hair mask but how do you get results if you have to wash that oil out after you use it and the shampoo takes away the effects of the oils after you wash it out?
Mikes MISKEY so with the hair mask the idea is to repair any issues and get you setup for a better result later. So you sleep in the oils and then wash it out and your hair will feel better after but then you add in a drop of oil again and it will feel even better!
I recently had to find a new job so I cut my year of hair growth off making this sort of info relevant to me again. Dig the videos as always man. I've been thinking now that I have short hair again of giving either your matte paste or wax cream a shot since I love the pomade, and will forever swear by the bay rum grooming oil.
Man I used phantasm yesterday and haven't used it in a long time. I gotta say it has serious endurance held up better than many new things I've been using not to mention the scent is super nice! Doing wax cream tomorrow putting it to an endurance test at work!
Iikewise bro! I’m feeling blessed as of lately! I’m doing a new job working with some incredible people from all over this world and making videos, making hair product and having a great time. I saw my baby girl on the ultrasound today and I’m driving a brand new truck on top of it all. I’m feeling straight up blessed. Hope your doing well yourself bud!
d l my old stylist would trim my hairline. My new stylist doesn’t like that and thinks it’s better to leave it alone. That just means it needs to grow back in. In a couple more weeks no one will even notice it.
I can't understand when I watch these videos on how much product you use if I used that much on my hair it would be like a pancake. Am I missing something?
I use as much as my hair needs. I obviously have different hair than you as is usually the case with different folks- so I’d focus not on the amount that’s used and more so on the products themselves and other things like the blow dryer usage and other things like that. Hope that helps 👍
I don’t rarely use my stuff outside of UA-cam. I use it a lot off camera. I use Blumaan because I also love their stuff, just like I use my stuff for the same obvious reason. I don’t showcase that a lot because I told folks when I came out with the DMG line that I wouldn’t flood my channel with it. I post about it often on Instagram, but not my channel.
Hello everyone! Thanks for checking my video! I appreciate all of you! See you again real soon.
I know you probably have a video, but which tonic was that you use in this video before that "Original" by Blu Mann?
docback63 it’s my own tonic- Dauntless modern grooming- grooming oil
@@docback63I was wondering the same thing. 😂😂
You need to try Northern lights as a pre styler! Some slickness and dryness
Not a bad idea!
Dude I don't know why you haven't blown up yet, your explanations and reviews are top notch!
Brandon Narsing much appreciated man! Maybe today’s the day! Haha

great question- I’ll put together a vid to show you what I do.

That is a cool kit! Let’s you find out what your perfect product is from them.
Which is better as a post styler? cavalier or monarch ?
Does the hybrid (pre styler) work well with cavalier? (post styler)
Have you used Shear Revival Sawbones oil at all? What are your thoughts if so?
What’s the best way to get rid of the sticky ness when rubbing hair clay in the hands?
Hey great video. What was the comb you mentioned. Your styling tips are great
The ByVilain comb! I’ve loved that comb for years!
@@MMTV thank you
What do You think about O'douds Styling Treatment? Did you use it like pre styler?
Fantastic video! You have given me a new blueprint for styling my hair. Thank you.
Speaking of blueprint haha cornerstone is also a great pre styler. I didn’t want to mention too many of my products in this video but it’s a fantastic one.

@@MMTV Oh okay, true! Thanks for the answer and keep it up, Your videos are awesome, seriously👌
Are you still using Ocean Spray?

The wax cream is getting a lot of love lately, I can’t hardly keep large amounts stocked up.
@@MMTV Ended up deciding on the paste because I personally feel like it would pair with my favorite prestyler, Amity, better.

so glad your liking it man! that’s great!
Hey man! I use 5th sample sometimes as a pre styler with good results. Does hybrid gives you more hold than original?
Not at all, which is why I used it for texture haha. It’s much lighterweight, which is why I think it provides such good volume.
Hey Mike good to see you again.
I hope all is well.

That’s awesome to hear!
Things are doing just staying home during lockdown in Australia and relaxing watching YT.
Is flagship a good prestyler paired with oasis clay?
I haven’t used oasis but black water has been a great pre styler with everything I’ve used.
Do one for post styling too
Is there a reason you don't trim the little hairs that lay on your forehead
d l my old stylist would trim my hairline. My new stylist doesn’t like that and thinks it’s better to leave it alone. That just means it needs to grow back in. In a couple more weeks no one will even notice it.
You shared great info. here mike, awesome content as usual :)
Yes we need a poststyling video!!
When i first bought original i found the brake down wasnt good as it went bitty in my hands. Does that sound right or you reckon i got a dodgy batch?
I’d say so, because it doesn’t break down like that for me at all.
@@MMTV reckon i should drop them an email ? Its practically new been used once or twice
Beautiful Blumaan advertising video, i'm joking haha, love your videos mike ☺️
Mare M 😂 hope your well brotha

Im just going to go ahead and ask, How does your pre-styler from today compare to yesterdays? Lol
Valente Leanos I don’t compare yesterday to today.
I feel like dr. Phil right now 😂
You had me thinking about this question all evening lol thanks for planting this in my brain 😂😂
Modern Man TV Haha I didnt mean to rack your brain, just having some fun. Keep pumping out the content I love seeing the new products out there.
Valente Leanos lol I’m just messing haha I like a good brain buster every now and then.
Mike i wanna know you rarely use your own brand you always go for Blueman products... Why...??
