Chris is so thorough that he finds the small change even when its hidden in the sump. 😊
That engine is like the Guy who drank his wages on a Friday, Woke up Saturday, Piston Broke. Great job guy's. Thumbs up.
You guys are lucky that pump primed up without following the priming process.
Here's a tip for those CSC slave cylinders, before you mount the cylinder into the bell housing put the cylinder in a vice just gently nip one of the mounting lugs, with the inlet facing directly upwards put a small funnel into it and tip some clutch/brake fluid in and squeeze the cylinder in and out you'll see air bubbles come out and the fluid go down, do this several times until it is primed, put the plug back in that comes with the CSC and then fit it in the bell housing, when your ready pull the plug and quickly fit the pipe, bleeding then takes 5 mins or so...
got to love the shrapnel coming out of the sump pan!! another good one rob and chris !
The more I see you working on these modern cars/engines, the more I love my Morris Minor.
All modern cars are just a mass of failure points made out of plastic.
The bits falling out of the sump when you cleaned it out 😂
I love watching you guys working together, no big arguments or profanities, cool and friendly at all times even when the going gets tuff. Even buying a lemon doesen't get you off track. And in the end you make a nice profit. It doesen't get much better than that! Keep 'em comin' guys😊
Rob "Am I gonna pull this while your pushing,
Chris "I've lubed up"
I love it !😂
whats with the white trainers ? style statement over crushed toes ? leave em to the teenagers 🙂
I use crocks, much safer.
Superb work fellas! Love the shot of you both waiving through the hole in the engine 😂😂😂
The effort that you two wizards put into every project is to be commended. Lots of people would have broke that vehicle up for spares and made a bunch of money. yes it happens from time to time but you have saved another one from the scrap heap. Well done boys
Middle for diddle that saying brought back memories of my Dad. It was his favourite saying with anything not often you hear it nowadays, thanks for the memory revisit. Love the content
Same mate, I've inherited 'middle for diddle' from my dad, and it brought a smile to hear Chris use it. We have to carry on with these old sayings ❤ got to keep the young'uns guessing 😂
God knows how many cars you've got running from being toast, and still get a kick out of each new one which is great to see. Another great repair lads!
Up and running . Converted an auto to a manual . Got it first started with the booster . Smashed it out the park
23:18 cant beat the old Top Don boosters.
I have one for my bike that leaches electric and started my mates Dodge Ram Cummins diesel with it!
Fantastic work as always, and the trainers are still gleaming white. 😂
Lovely teamwork getting that engine into its new home. Shame the breakers were A) so expensive. B) Such animals!
I love how Chris keeps his work space always clean, top channel lads keep up the good work 👍
Well done chaps ! Another phoenix rises from the ashes !. It’s a smart vehicle, often fancied one myself, but I would need to be neighbours with you chaps to deal with any eventualities!.
Really liked this one. Thanks, Rob and Chris.
Really pleased for you lads ... great job 👍
Brilliant job lads looking forward to seeing the next one 👌
Brilliant work as always
Can't wait for the final part!👍👍👍
A decent amount of shrapnel in that old sump.😊
Love the disappearing Chris at 15.07 - and reappering the other side a few seconds later!
Rob, your enthusiasm is infectious ! Youre like a kid at Christmas every time you fire up a non runner, its great to watch. Keep up the great videos, its brilliant content and lovely to watch how you 2 get these wrecks up and running again :)
Lol yeah nice and positive huh .
Great work guys and well deserved. 👍👍👍
Great to hear the new engine running, 👍
I think @ "10:40" Chris has had his daily workout ❤ A pity the breakers don't show a little more care and whether its man vs auto.
Ford dropped the manual production as I seem to remember.
In my native NZ the best breakers yard in south Auckland use to sell large Toyota/ Hino engines in the front showroom complete on stands.
Thanks for the world 🌎 class presentation 👏 as always ❤
Excellent video guys. Brought this one back to life again

A+++++ VIDEO! Great work! No BS!
Awesome video thanks lads very much appreciated top job top team 🇬🇧
Gentlemen at work. Love the content. Nice work
Surprised not more people screaming change the vane oil pump for a geared one, been a 3.2 owner that’s all you ever hear
Definitely agree I’m sure as mentioned previously the vane pumps are a real issue with these engines and is well documented people changing to a geared pumps. Nice easy upgrade with the engine out.
Also they recommend with the vane pump oil should be changed within 15 minutes.
I’d lay money on the original pump being the reason for the failure. Also egr issues with these engines.
@@ianfinch1522 they do have their issues but as do all vehicles tbh I’ve been on the fence to have my pump done as with what the guys found out a replacement engine is damn expensive
Bloody fantastic video lads great job and very interesting. Well done
That was true old school but with new equipment and what a huge amount of work it involved. Total credit to you Rob and Chris, absolutely brilliant. Oh and expertly caught on camera. 👍😊
Yes, camerawork was excellent. What a great channel.
Proper job as usual 💪🐸✌️
Hello Rob and Chris, it starts (YES),great video.that engine was alot of moving around but fitted.with a good clean it will look awesome.
hurray - an LUK clutch , lovely to see.... my dad (bless him) worked for LUK for years after working for GKN since he left school :)
well done you two. and lovely creative camerawork from chris
Well done guys ,sounds good be nice to see it all cleaned and finished good luck👍👍
I cannot wait until I’m as proficient as you two. I’m 4 years in now decided to start in 2020 for obvious reasons, I give everything a go but for some tools etc it’s easier to get my mate to do in his garage. New unit happening in 8 weeks with a ramp, can’t wait. Thanks a lot for sharing everything you do, free learning!
Great work lads 👍
Watching that engine getting dropped in and it firing up afterwards!! Yess!! Excellent!!
Hi Rob & Chris 😊 I’ve not many words to say how fantastic that video was 👍🏻 Well done 👏🏻
Great to see this truck running again especially after that "leg out", but then with you two working on it there's no doubt about that 👍
One of the best channels on UA-cam
Again yous make it look so easy Great content
Quality lads I admire you two so much, hard working nothing too much of a problem too you. A nice result that engine will be interested to see what it goes for look forward to the number crunching another great video 👌🏻
Good work lads 👏👏
Top work, Guys
New engine sounds great - it’ll soon be another vehicle finished. Great work 👍
Well done guys, good effort not to skelp the windscreen!
Great result guys, a great job done
Well Done Rob and Chris! Hearing that start up was mega. Love the fact that the replacement engine cost more than the truck and arrived damaged with all the plugs cut off! 😂
Very satisfying see that big tricky job come together in the end.
My dad has one of them exact engine cranes in his garage, solid peace of kit they are, class vid lads
