- Nougat is delicious dessert type candy stick people like to make for the holidays but it's also so sticky you might regret ever learning the recipe. But when you learn how to control the nougat, then you're one step closer to finding out who you really are.

Recipe
Go to the store and buy a chocolate bar instead. But if you insist
Froth up an egg white
1 cup sugar
⅓ cup honey
1.5 tablespoons water
Heat it up to some extent
Be very careful
Combine the egg white and sugar lava
Be careful not to glue your whole body together
Add in an amount of nuts bigger than Tony Robbins giant head
Or add in anything else. I was gonna add in a bunch of chocolate bars that contained nougat to create nougatception but I lost motivation.
Put it in some kind of mold.
Put it in some kind of fridge.

Things I learned today:
1) Eating glue is acceptable as long as the glue is made out of food
2) HAPPINESS IS MANDATORY
and Nougat isn't a painter from the past.😂
3) how to safely handle hydrogenated oxygen
beautiful. I’ll probably just buy a 3 musketeers, but one day when I retire all I’ll do is make nougat for my relatives.

Lol, I'm only in my early 30's, am child-free, have no nieces or nephews, and yet have become the one who bakes cookies for Christmas. I send them to my brothers, grand parents and my mom (and a close friend of hers who also gives baking stuff). I felt so happy doing it last year, now, I'm realizing I just aged myself 😅. I still sent them this year too, though...I make monster cookies. Next year, maybe I'll add eyeballs and mouths to the cookies to give them a Nightmare Before Christmas feel.

- Slightly stretch arms & legs of gingerbread/shortbread/anybread people to give that uncanny valley feeling
- Add soulless smiles to inanimate objects like bells, xmas trees, and mistletoe
- When you don't have enough dough left to fit any of your cutters, if you take the remaining scraps of cookie dough, just sort of roughly scrunch them, & plop them on the cookie sheet, they'll come out looking a lot like parasites

I made this recipe and made a few substitutions. I replaced the sugar with water; the meringue with a block of ramen noodles; the vanilla and salt with a seasoning packet; and season's joy with despair. This actually made Santa cry. He now hates me and said I get coal for the rest of my life. :c(

Coal is a better present anyway. You can use it for heating or to make electricity. So, coal is actually useful. Try heating or making electricity with toys. Oh, wait, that's right, you can't.

i have one of your YSAC mugs. had a therapy appointment on tuesday via zoom, went to take a sip, and my therapist burst into giggles at the 'you suck at cooking' text printed on it (and then laughed harder when i turned it round to show her the gently weeping face on the other side). thanks for making my therapist laugh. despite my best efforts, i can usually only elicit an uncomfortable yet compassionate expression from her. merry christmas, king!

I bought the Pepper Pepper Pepper shirt when it was available. I made the mistake of wearing it while cleaning and splattered it with bleach. It now looks like Salt and Pepper Pepper Pepper, but I love it anyway.

I hate nougat but I’m still so excited about this video. Bandaid aloe is beautiful.
I recommend putting a sheet of edible paper at the top and bottom of the nougat slab when it's still soft, to prevent it from sticking to surfaces which include but are not limited to: the table, the plate, your fingers, your uncle's fingers, your little brother's mouth, the old dusty book you're gonna serve it on because all your nice plates are dirty and you're not a provident person so you didn't wash them.
So that's why it's usually covered in chocolate! You're so smart.

This is so so so so so so good I love making homemade nougat with pistachios and candy cane fudge. A note: if you put a damp towel around the bottom of your bowl it won't move when mixing, wether with a mixer or a spoon, whatever!

2:30 oh yeah, try tempering chocolate and then realizing you didn't have your mold ready with lustre dust so you have to color it real fast and now the chocolate is hardened, with the metal spoon still in it so you have to dig that out before you can microwave it to soften it again. So much fun. At least I know my chocolate was successfully in temper.

great recipe !! i find adding a spoonful of gunpowder to be most beneficial as it keeps the nougat chewy for longer ! it also adds a wonderful popping sensation in the mouth :)
