As I saw your video, I remembered that my N/A 5.0 V8 did a whistling kind of noise yesterday. That could indicate a problem somewhere in the belt-drive system. Thanks for your video!
thanks sir for the video i own a 2013 xj with the same engine 2.0 and i just had that problem and the steering wheel not turning and air condition is getting hot and i just smell a burning rubber from the engine bay so i just noticed that the belt is slipping so i will change the belt and the pully hopefully it gets fixed
Mine did... AWD/ABS/transmission control/AC/power steering. Transmission was stuck in 4th until I turned my happy ass back around and limped it back home. Couldn't put it in park, car died and apparently threw itself into park.
You have made me think. I've had the battery not charging going on and off for months. The start stop switches itself off and sometimes the car won't start until the 5 attempt. Jaguar dealer says maybe the bms system and a module needs changing - cost £1400. Your video makes me think something else going on.
