TGV is a legitimate connoisseur. I love his work. People who shit on him do so to try to elevate themselves.
I have different taste to him. He loves gold jewelry and finely finished leather bags. I am more into a more rugged -less refined look, but the cool thing about TGV is that he shows how to be yourself and unapologetically revel in the things that mean something to you. I am glad that he doesn’t give airtime to douchebag haters.
Props to you guys for treating him and each other with respect.

That’s awesome guys. I can’t wait to watch. He’s an interesting guy for sure. Regardless of how people feel about him he is one of the biggest channels in the watch community. I think a little bit of the hate has to do with envy. Keep Rocking those Watches gents🤘🏻

While I appreciate TGV for most of his watch UA-cam video content, I can't ignore the fact he smashed a fake rolex with an expensive hammer, just to brag about his fake Seiko in another video.
Actions speak louder than words. I couldn't have said it better!
Also, there's so many other channels with high quality content and so little time 😂

At first, I thought TGV was a milquetoast, but then I saw him praising Casios. I think people react to his British accent. He's a talented guy who creates all those intros in addition to his reviews. People are just jealous, that's all.

He somehow received a fake Rolex. He destroyed it (with a hammer, which even has a name) rather than making an effort to debrand, replace dial and give it away. Because destroying things is much more difficult than creating things, especially for some other person's benefit.
He then bought a fake Seiko which homages a Rolex. A fake Seiko, nevertheless. Bragged about it, proud of it.
Yup, he definitely practices what he preaches.
I do agree with the fact he's a great source of information and I appreciate the effort he puts in creating his video, the background documentation, in particular, reason I'm still subscribed to his channel. I think

@@andrei-cosmin.popa85 Almost every UA-camr has destroyed fake Rolexes.....the fact that he was one of the first to do it is correct. I am not sure what fake Seiko you refer to. The point of destroying the fake Rolex was to show general distaste and to show that their are so many other good options aside from wearing a blatant lie. I think he also pointed out how to spot some fake characteristics as well. Anyway....he does a good job and provides quality information, insight, and entertainment.

@@ExpeditedProductions unless he deleted that specific video, he's got a custom built "Seiko" in his collection. I fail to see how that's different from buying a fake Rolex, with respect to the fact Seiko never made any of the parts (except for the movment) his "Seiko" is made of, especially the dial.
I personally love custom watches and I don't care much for the brand name on a watch (I tend to wear pieces with custom dials, in fact) . But I don't appreciate double standards, especially when they come from a gentleman who often voices his opinion against counterfeits.
I do realise this is beating the dead horse now, but I felt like I had to share it, there's a high probability people still believe there's Saints among us.
Above and beyond, I must, once again, mention how easy it is to destroy things. Any turd can smash a watch. A real enthusiast would make the most out of it 😉

Something to note - humans tend to trust people who are negative more than people that are positive. If you jump up and down saying things are terrible people will believe you, tell them something is good they'll automatically think you're lying. I think that's driving a lot of the hate.
