No drilled lugs on either. Odd IMO. I also think the movement choice was an odd one. Almost seems incomplete to me by taking the rotor off. Who would do that to make the watch thinner....except them. Get a different manual wind movement!Good on them for the charity donations. They did that on the Rangemaster as well. Perhaps not the same amount.
Been wearing mine every day for a couple of weeks now. The strap breaks in and, despite having a 7.75” wrist, it still looks good. I worried about 37mm but with the high legibility and high contrast/large dial to bezel it looks fine. I actually appreciate how low profile and small the lug to lug is when I am used to 40/42 size in the rest of my collection. Get one if you can. Edit: I got # 206/1000
Agree that a 42mm would be a great option for those with larger wrists. As would a quartz or solar version. I'd buy that configuration in a nano second.
it is nice.. when I first saw it I thought I bet they removed some crystal to fit the rotor shaft without the automatic rotor... Thing is I would have made it automatic and case a little thicker it would have been totally fine.. But that is just my opinion, I don't mind thicker watches.
I don't know if it's normal but my rangemaster mechanical seems to running 2 to 3mins fast after a few days and i have to reset it to the proper time, any thoughts?
@@ajmarion thank you for your help 😊 I live in Scotland so if that was the issue could it have happened going through the scanner at customs?,would there machines cause that to happen?
I couldn't help it. I have to comment further. This movement choice is very strange. Take the rotor off an automatic and call it a manual wind. No, it's a non automatic...and the benefit of this is to stop dummies from overwinding their watch?? When Sellita and ETA catch wind of this there will be a revolution 😮. These two chaps seem to be great guys and it seems no one wants to hurt their feelings but I thinks this was a bad idea. Bad!

Would be a killer without the two logos …
Both logos are a must. That's why it's a project for both logos..
Hi Rob I’m wearing mine now! It arrived here in Australia a few days ago. Love it! Number 52.🤪😎👍🏻🇦🇺
They could do a 42mm version and sell another 1000.
Just got one off Reddit for 250 shipped. Seems there isn’t much demand for them second hand… which is a bummer but I’m stoked I got a great deal.
My eyes!!!!!

Killing for a 3, 6, 9 with a date or 6, 9, 12 with a date. So hard to find that combo
Great watch!!! Mine is 0069/1,000!!!

Definitely not normal - sounds like it may be magnetized. You can get a demagnetizer only for like $10, very easy and quick fix if that’s the issue

If you mentioned the water resistance I missed it?
100M WR
Having 24 hour incides on a watch without the 12 always looks off for me. not just with this watch, I've seen a few people try.
I agree. But, it wouldn’t be a singular dealbreaker, as I like everything else about it.
Not really a fan of this one. They just pulled designs from multiple brands and put them into one. Good for them on selling out but not for me.
ANOTHER Islander review? 🙄
Or people can just wait let the buzz come down and get a better price for it
37mm to small
