- Here are two ways to preserve or store curry leaves. By freezing or drying these leaves, you can lock in their colour and flavour from months. Never waste a bundle of curry leaves and with these two preservation methods. Below is a link to the podcast I did last week as well as the two dishes I made in this video. Yum, I haven’t bought fresh curry leaves in a LONG time!
I was missing curry leaves for about 2 months. I think it's the longest I had gone without them 😭
Really useful video Aneela!!! I normally dry them in the microwave but will try your method this time
I have never tried the micro! I don't know why but I feel apprehensive to do so. In your experience, does it change the flavour at all?
@@maharajaneela yes, definitely it does.....nothing can beat the flavor of fresh curry leaves....I never like the dry ones but we have to buy in bulk here and cannot use them all in a week so I just dry them rather than wasting them
