Big respect to the guys that built this tjing because doing 9 sec 0-200 in a heavy car like that means that that car is making every bit of 700 hp, and the drive train seems to be unaffected and well within its capabilities! Very well done guys!
Thanks, built it myself :) I did 6.0 sec 100-200 in a bit cooler weather than 30c like it was at this time, intercooler system is not good on these 4.0t unfortunately. Car is 1760kg with half tank and without driver.
Actually B8 S5's are not heavy at all. Manual S5 V8 is ~1650 kg.
@@DarkSession6208 I put mine on the scale after the swap, not before unfortunately but yes the 6mt is lighter than the 8hp.
@@nissejarnet Since i live in Germany, every car has to have its weight measured and added into the vehicle papers so my 2007 S5 Manual has something around 1650, not sure if 1670 or 1640 .. but something in between. ATs are 1750 kg i think because i saw it in some dudes vehicle papers when i was shopping for a S5 and his was AT but also a 2010 model, so i guess with more safety stuff its also heavier when newer.

hear me out: Audi R8, mild hybrid 4.0 V8 Biturbo with electric Turbocharger for immediate response and 750HP stock. Weight comparable to the current car. Way better than a V6 hybrid or even the 2.0 AMG uses!

Yeah it wasn't the best temp for performance, especially with the weak 4.0t intercooler 💩 Car does 6.0-6.1 100-200 in 20c and I've done 10.3 402m so far on stage 1 OTS E20 :) More to come!

It's a shame you don't get European cars like this with 700+HP stock from the factory like American cars here in the US. European car sounds are sadly dying out too. You won't find a reasonable price for a European car over 700hp in Europe. I wish tho.
Yeah, it really sucks. And it sucks even more when you start comparing prices of identical cars in Europe vs the US. It's insane the price difference on some cars, even European ones. I bought a BMW M340i xDrive sedan last year. Base price of that one over here is (converted) about $78000. Mine with options was about $87000. Base price in the US of that model is $59000 and with roughly the same options it would have cost me around $65000 in the US. I could have bought a lightly specced Porsche Cayman S or a heavily specced base Cayman in the US for the price of my car. Or a (non-competition) M3. Ugh

Nice, but still S5 V8T 8HP from Walke Motorsport is way faster.
Yeah because the CAUA Engine is absolutely bulletproof and really good for extreme performance numbers. All it needs is a Turbo, then it will potentionally make more than any RS engine ever created except maybe the R8 V10s. Really no reason to swap the RS6 engine if all you need is a proper turbokit and with stock internals you can run like 650.
Cause the original engine needs rebuild 🤣

Richtig schnell ist er ja, gerade über 200 hätte ich nicht gedacht, aber leider ist das Ding hässlich. Nicht pottenhässlich, sieht aber eben irgendwo nach nem typischen gebrauchten Polen-Audi in Wanne-Eickel aus, wo der Piotre dann in Jogginghose und Cappy vor der Dönerbude aussteigt... hätte das Projekt eher mit dem Nachfolger S5 als Basis gemacht...

100-200 is weak for its power/weight
Pretty heatsoked after pushing it on the Autobahn, the 4.0t intercooler is small. Car is 1760kg with half tank without driver and is only stage 1 at this point. I've done 6.0 in it with 18c temp and not 30c, and that time compares pretty good with cars with similar weight and power. Transmission is not tuned either, so it cuts a bit much torque at the shifts.
@@nissejarnet rs7 c7 with 300kg+ and 750hp have the same time. So I thought that your car has 100% potential of less than 6sec 👍 This is what I want to say 🙂
