I am working on this but on my 3.0 tdi, currently working on the media upgrade and retrofitting all sensors. But hella expensive to get audi to calibrate and confirm proper installation so it can go through the danish car review (don't want to have the police stop me and force me to remove it all xD) Also remember to get it remapped when you've done all the exhaust modding etc. Otherwise you're gonna either lose performance or abuse the turbo.
@KevG I've got a supercharged corvette grand sport for the summer but I'm really looking for a nice daily with awd for the winter. I think I gonna get a 2013 to 2015 RS5 with that beautiful sounding, high revving 4.2 V8 🙌
@@sasagrcevic475 Disagree bro, wrapping a car gives you the option to go back to stock should you wish to do so. Good luck selling a purple painted car compared to a factory white, grey or black car. Cheap wraps always look dog shit but having someone wrap the car who knows what they are doing often has better results than what some paint shops offer
Wow, what a fucking beautiful car. Hard to believe you can make an s5 look any better than it already does but you smashed it. Great job. Im totally jelly.
i just got a b8 s5 (2009)with the 4.2 v8 it has full b8.5 rs5 body kit (wider fenders new bumpers and headlights and tail lights) it arrives in like a week i cant wait to drive this beast
Kev I don’t know if you’ll read this but this car looks amazing! Reminds me of the build I did exactly the same but with a 2.0 TFsi engine. Watching your video has brought back many old memories of mine, enjoy it!! Happy for you
That’s such a clean build! I used to have an 2010 Audi S5 which had a couple mods (more on the performance than aesthetics), but now I recently picked up a 2013 RS5 and this makes me wanna build it too, only thing is it’s almost at 100k miles so I’m not sure if it’s gonna be worth it in the long run
Really sick build dude!! I would personally change the taillights and the headlights to make the car more modern and thats all. Really sick build bro👏👏
I love the final Look! Congrats man! It's funny how it all starts with one sinple Idea ' What If ' I'd replace this part with something else and it never ends from that point onwards...😄😄😄
15 months ago I bought a 2011 S5 Cabriolet with only 55K miles on it. The car was pristine and had several upgrades such as a German racing suspension, Vossen rims ($4K) and a stage 1 custom tuning program. I enjoyed (loved) the car for a total of 1702 miles . Witrhout warning while driving on a 4 lane freeway The car shut down giving me a few warning lights which indicated the problem was with the electronic management system (not sure of the exact name). I managed to drive it the 10 miles to my home by using the paddle shifters and going very slow. The next day I had it towed to a garage owned by a guy who is an expert on German vehicles. The mechanic concluded that both catalytic converters essentially had melted (the lining inside). Straight pipes were installed, he test drove it and stated it was good to go. My wife and daughter picked up the car on a Friday and had planned to drive it about 300 miles to our cottage (I was down with Covid). The made it roughly 35 miles before calling me in a panic telling me the car stopped abruptly and would not turn over . Another tow truck charge to collect it and have it brought back to the mechanic. About 2 days later I received the bad news: The engine had seized with 2 pistons looking as if they had "grown" in size compared to normal. It turned out that the previous owner, who had babied the car since purchasing it decided to modify the pully crank at the time he had it tuned and installed a crank that was over double the size of the stock one!. The shop who did the work warned him several times that he needed to ensure the engine had proper cooling after this modification.....which he ignored. When I bought the vehicle I paid the dealer (he has since closed shop and gone bankrupt) for a 28 point inspection which included a detailed engine check, and told me the car was 10/10 both mechanically and aesthetically. I was left with 2 choices : 1. part the car out, which would at best cover 1/2 of what I paid, or 2. find a replacement engine and dole out a stack of cash - replacement engine, shipping, and 35+ hours of labour to have it prepped, installed and tested. I some how persuaded my wife that option 2 was the best option. It took me a month and a half to source a replacement engine which had a mileage that was close to the odometer reading on the car. My anger and frustration had grown to a level where I was hellbent on suing the dealer however to my dissapointment I learned that Canadian consumer laws makes it virtually impossible to win a case such as mine. Fast forward till today, I have a 2011 S5 Convertible that looks like it just rolled off the line and drives like a dream....I ended up bleeding 80% additional on top of what I bought it for to get it repaired. The Pully crank produced an unbelieveable amount of heat without any additional modirfications to ensure the engine had a chance to cool . It was only a matter of time before disaster as I had no clue ( lack of knowledge and mechanical skill) this was happening....
Facelift taillights really changed the car more than anything else, u could have all those parts on and the old LEDs and it would look so much more dated. 10/10 from a bmw guy
At 1:21 where can I get those center lug covers? It looks awesome now, great job! Also, where do you recommend someone go for a tune? Preferably on the East Side Suburbs?
I'm actually not sure. Im 99% positive they were on the car from the factory and are an OEM part. Could probably find something aftermarket! I'd recommend APR if you're going to a dealer. You can look up where dealers are on APR's site. 034 Motorsport if you want to do it yourself
I took videos from my old installs and sped them up for this montage. Sorry about that! Each individual video is in the description for a longer video on each mod🤘🏼
the final piece to the project would be to replace front and rear lights with the b9 retrofit kit. It looks hella sick and fits without any harness changes.

Wow Wow Wow Respect!!! I have rs5 restyling the same year. Now I also want to make body kits! And please answer, for such a motor sound like hellcat, did you just install a new air filter? What changes in the engine were there for such a sound as a supercharger
At the point of the install, I just had a stage 1 tune and the intake. Exhaust as well but the intake opens it up and gets that whine to be a lot louder. Hope that helps!
Only mod it needed to complete the build was a rear parking sensor
The final piece 😢
Yeah only that lol 😅
