CULTISTS' TOWER | Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster Walkthrough #28

I climb the Cultists' Tower, where there's unescapable battles, nasty spells, and the complete inability to use anything but Magic, Mimic and Items!
I also taken down the Magic Master, and run into a very unusual bug...
We'll be going for all the achievements, including all the chests and the entire bestiary. This guide is aimed at players of all skill levels.

Just finished this tower yesterday with terra using the celestriad relic.Made the fights more easy especially because you don't spend more mp then the one you need.As for the tower itself I got say its irritating the enemies, but i keep using the ultima spell all the time with all for members of my party.And if you do that most of the enemies even the boss won't last long!

i wish they retained the dark look of the original for the cult tower. i loved the black and dark blue skies of the tower, made it look that much more creepier.

I litterally sucked his mana till he died with Osmosis and rapse, regen and haste to make it faster. My plan was to leave him with with no mp for Ultima, but these guys are litterally magic, some will die when out of mana. It's their body.

Thanks for the walkthrough. Been a good time. Why does my Carbuncle stop reflecting halfway through the battle. I cast it right away and it just wears off, and I lose every time. Thanks!

He's also doing a barrier change right away even when I don't attack him.

WITHOUT AUTO reflect reflected spells tend to ONLY last for 2 to 3 uses that's why I never summon it.

I beat this by equipping the moogle charm. Those random encounters were driving me insane 😂

I still had l 65 party members Gogo/Umaro I only had them join at lv 99 but Umaro still sucks here.

There's several ways to beat this challenge. You could cast berserk on yourself, then reflect. Your characters would attack while staying protected. You could vanish and then berserk the magimaster (though vanish isnt' needed as his melee attacks are pretty weak. You can drain his mana through rasp/osmose. You can do this method of just casting reflect on all party members. Or you could just spam non elemental spells at him or random spells to hit his weaknesses.

In fact removing is MP not only removes the final Ultima buy Magic Master is one of the many enemies who die when they have zero MP.

You can use moggle charm for skip all battles And you done this in 5 min. If you not pick the last chest you have not to fight magimaster. And for him you can use Berserk on him and Slow, and scan him and use the weakness... Is not hard to kill and Life3 is Ok Is you have not, make the tower with no mana and use osmose and rasp on him... when he have 0 mana no ultima at the end :)

Soul of Thamasa is the relic that grants Dualcasting. Celestriad is the Relic that make all spells cost 1 MP and can be obtained in multiple, either dropped from Brachiosaurs in the Dinosaur Forest or stolen from Galypdes in Pheonix Cave. A goo way to get multiple is bet the Murakumo in the Colosseum and have Gogo with 3 steal commands wearing the brigand's glove try to steal it and betting the Holy lance you just won to get a new Murakumo.

I thought brachiosaurus dropped the exp egg

@@monkeyspank3005 Brachiosaur in the Dinosaur Forest has always dropped the Celestriad only and it is a rare drop. Nothing drops the Growth Egg, which can only be morphed from the Giant Bird Enemies in the World of Ruin including the same Galypdes that can hold the Celestriad, or won by betting Tintinnabulum. You can get more Tintinnabulum by betting MegaElixir, Growth Egg or Miracle Shoes.

@@monkeyspank3005 you can grind up either the imp spear the tyranasaurs drop, or the reed cloak you can steal from them(the other mob in the dino forest) Dont remember which, but it grinds out to an egg.
