I started having these same fasciculations this past summer, without loss of strength or muscle tone. A neurologist told me i may have ALS. Needless to say. he was wrong but never came out with this diagnosis. Some days I get more twitches, some days less. It's more a nuisance than anything else, esp when I get them in my forearm (since I like to draw and they can interfere with my movements). Otherwise, unless they interfere with daily life will just have to deal with them
@@leemin569BFS Benign Fasciculation Syndrome. I leg press about 380lbs yesterday no problem. I’m over a year in with this. It’s worrisome; however, I have to believe what I present and my faith in God is greater than this issue I may have contributed to.
It is mainly because your intracellular. Water level is decreased either because of dehydration or sodium levels are high you may need to drink plenty of water and don't be a hypochondriac person it may eventually go away
It's called benign fasiculation syndrome or BFS. It's not going to eventually go away. Nothing to do with being a hypochondriac. I've had this going on 37 years. 38 in February. This isn't the only place I twitch. I have them all over my body at different times. I'm not gonna stop twitching until I die.
@@bobobononi4744 Everyday somewhere. My eyelids are almost constant. I have a spot on my forearm that twitches nonstop 24/7. My toes on my right foot are 24/7. Then I have random twitches that go for a few seconds and stop. The past few days I've had hotspots. The one I hate the most is my eyebrow. My left eyebrow has 2 separate twitches going at the same time. It's not life threatening but it's extremely annoying. I've had it for 37 years now.

Benign Fasciculation Syndrome or BFS.
Too fast. This is not fasciculations. A peripheral neuropathy or nerves entrapment due to narrowed space in the tendon/ligament.
No, it's BFS.
